Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much for for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore. I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes: I'm less interested in modern settings or horror, more interested in traditional high fantasy. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. I'm available any day except Thursday. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't use a web cam. Objective: I'm looking forward to meeting new people, making new online friends and either joining a fresh campaign or fitting in to one already in progress. I'm 29, based out of Sacramento County, looking to make new friends. I have not played in a long time, but I have many of the books and i have played and DMed many campaigns. My experience is almost entirely 5e, and I enjoy throwing some homebrew in here and there. I dabbled with 3.5 in college as well. I am looking for more players for my own campaign, but I also would like to play in someone else's group.

Forever GM here looking to become a player. I would like to play a game that is roleplay and combat focused. I prefer mysteries and dark tones, so an Age of Umbra Daggerheart, Alien or Vaesen game works for me. Brindlewood Bay also hits my liking (it is not an option on the list). I have a lot of experience with Daggerheart if you need someone to also bounce ideas off of. Intermiediate experience with Vaesen and only played the Starter Set of Alien. I would love to try Brindlewood Bay (or any other mystery/detective system). Hi, I am an experienced D&D player who has also dabbled as a DM in the past. I have been playing on and off since high school (I am now in my 30s). My campaigns have often ended early due to real-life schedules, so while I enjoy the game deeply, my late-level experience is somewhat limited. However, I am hoping to find a group where we can build a story together that might go the distance. My favorite games focus on exploring player character backgrounds as part of the campaign narrative. I put a lot of work into character creation, so I value seeing that development happen for myself and my teammates. I would be interested in trying the Pathfinder 2E system or Daggerheart, but have no experience with those compared to 2014/2024 DnD 5e. A few notes about me: I tend to be soft-spoken with new people, but I warm up quickly once I get to know the group. Logistically, I am in the Eastern Time Zone and work typical office hours. Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. I have never played d&d before but I really want to learn how to play so I'm mostly just looking for a GM/party who is willing to show me ropes. I have been making up characters and stories for as long as I remember, that's what makes me want to play D&d in the first place. I don't really have any preferences for anything, I have no expirience so Im pretty much open to any style of gameplay since I haven't experienced any of them yet. I enjoy learning about greek mythology so I know a bit about that, and I love the Zelda franchise. I believe I would enjoy stealth missions or missions in which the players have to keep up a lie or something. I dont think I would love entirely combat focused but Im not opposed to fighting I just would love to come up with clever solutions to problems instead of just fighting. *sidenote* Alexander is actually my middle name but it's what I usually go by so I just put it here.

I've played mainly Dnd 5th edition as both a player and a DM, and in the meantime I've learnt a couple other systems. I create and use a lot of homebrew in the campaigns I master, mostly things I have plucked from other systems. I am currently mastering a campaing, so I am not available as a GM right now, but in the future I might. I think roleplay and storytelling is the core of every tabletop experience. Combat/gameplay and RP are not mutually exclusive- I find that how/why a character fights is/should reflect who that character is, and the technical stuff -such as buildmaking- helps make a game satisfying. I love the silly moments in serious sessions and the serious moments in silly sessions. I am happy to teach some things I learnt along the way to unexperienced players. I'm looking for a way to keep scratching an itch for storytelling and playing dnd. I've been playing since 2019. In that time I've run two 2-year long games, one online and one in person. Both were set in the sword coast. I've played and dm'ed a half dozen games in the last year in my former groups homebrew setting. I've dabbled in a handful of other systems including pf2e, Powered by the Apocalypse games, and the invisible college (cool system, creepy game to play) I appreciate playing deep and well rounded (and the occasionally crazy) characters who learn more about themselves and the world as they explore the stories and wrestle with their inner thoughts. Hello everybody! My name is Amethyst Pixels, but I also go by Amethyst or just Amepix for short. I'm a 21 year old trans woman who enjoys roleplaying, rpgs and all in all just having a good time and making friends. I've played in a few games with some friends, they were okay and I enjoyed them. But now that its wrapped up, I'm looking for new games here and maybe even possibly some new friends :3. I've only played D&D 5e due to that being what my friends used, and I have played a homebrewed system a few times in another campgain one of my other friends made but it kinda died out... But I'm opening to learning another system if I have to. I would prefer to play in a medieval fantasy type game. You know, with dragons, goblins, maybe even demons... the whole package. That kinda setting is something I deeply enjoy, and who doesn't love kingdoms and magic? Personally, the character I'm hoping to play at the moment is a Princess who sets out on an, in her words, 'Epic Journey'. I haven't built too much of her yet since from the fact she's a Princess, a whole royal family needs to be involed and that's.... a whole thing I'd have to talk about with a GM. What I have down for her now is she's a navie Princess who wants to become a hero like the knights she reads about in the castle's library; you know, the one's who slay dragons, defeat necromacners and all around save the day? Yeah... that's where I say she's a bit naive. Most of those stories are likley not even true but she's taking them as fact and truly believes herself to be fully capable of achieving those same feats. I hope me and a GM can work it out more, since I didn't want to have a whole made up royaly family SLAMMED into somebody else's game without talking about it with them first. I have been playing and DMing since 2nd edition, and most of my best friendships have been made around this game. I love that the game is in a renaissance now, and that it has become popular with queer folk like myself. I don't think that I would be living as my authentic self if not for a lifetime of exploring identity in a safe space of TTRPGs. I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most evenings; just can't do evenings on Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing. Hey, I'm Justin. Big fan of RP heavy tables and players that want to be there. Still love me some combat though! Playing off and on since 2018, last adventure was 2+ years & I was DM-ing for the last 18 months as well. Only looking for an in-person game (willing to host!) in the East Bay ideally. Open to weeknights after 6pm & anytime Saturdays for weekly games. I can also do Sundays between 10a-4:30p but only once or twice a month. I'm no DnD expert but I am fairly well versed on almost all of the basic class specific 5e skills and abilities. I'm versatile as a player, happy to "fill in the gaps" if that's what a table needs class-wise. I've mostly played melee characters, but I love my halfling warlock to pieces (Ciaran McOnderfut, fyi). Also willing to play 5.5, just not as familiar with it (read a little, played none). I am 100% the kinda guy with a whole Google folder full of pre-gen characters with back stories, and I'll gladly leave them on the shelf if the setting doesn't fit. Tonally, I really enjoy the philosophy in sci-fi, exploring what it means to be human, existential and cosmic horror, dystopian settings, transhumanism, and general exploration. Mystery is always fun! I’ve been trying to avoid the more heavily action/anime side of things, instead going for something much more grungy and industrial. Anything beginner/intermediate friendly with a good group for conversation!
