10$ per session through StartPlaying https://startplaying.games/gm/bryceythomas on Saturdays @ 11:30AM. The city of Imperi gleams beneath its marble arches, but something in its warmth feels subtly, unmistakably wrong. A hush clings to the rings, a tension beneath the noise of markets and parades, as if the city is waiting for a cue it hasn’t yet been given. Strange heat gathers in forgotten corners. People drift into quiet, sun‑dazed reveries. And deep beneath the streets, the mines report accidents that don’t behave like accidents at all. As the party moves through the city, they begin to uncover threads that should never have touched: political denials that contradict eyewitness accounts, a thieves’ guild quietly stockpiling a radiant essence called Sunbreath, and a traveling troupe whose performances seem to mask coded meetings and midnight movements. Every faction wants something from Imperi, and every faction wants something from the players — information, loyalty, silence. What the party doesn’t yet see is that these crises are not isolated. They are pieces of a design that stretches far beyond the city’s walls. The warmth, the watchers, the missing shipments, the shifting alliances, the Sunbreath itself — all of it is being arranged with deliberate care. Someone is preparing a binding, a contract of law and will and sacrifice, meant to join a powerful claimant to a chosen Vessel. And Imperi, in all its grandeur, is only the stage. When the truth finally rises to the surface, the players will have to decide what to protect, what to expose, and who they become when the city’s masks fall away. In Act II, every choice shapes the fate of Imperi — and the curtain hasn’t even lifted.

13$ per session through StartPlaying https://startplaying.games/gm/bryceythomas  on Saturdays @ 7:30PM. The Great Proving returns to Dras’Gromm—a legendary festival of strength, spectacle, and survival in the heart of the desert. Every few years, the dragons of the Khyrazgaar throw open the arena gates to warriors, champions, and the Pit‑Sworn: condemned souls forced to fight for a single promise. Win the Proving, and you’ll earn freedom, land, and a life beyond the sands. You are one of the Pit‑Sworn. Whether by crime, exile, debt, or order, you are forced to fight in the arena. The crowds cheer for you as underdogs. The dragons see the Proving as tradition. Merchants bet huge sums on every match. Most people in the desert see it as a celebration. But this year feels different. Matches are harsher. Teams vanish without explanation. The rules seem to shift in ways that no one can quite put their finger on. Two teams in particular fight with uncanny precision—too polished, too prepared, too lucky. Your own team wasn’t drafted by chance. Someone made sure you were placed together. Someone ensured that you had the necessary gear, training, and a slot in the bracket. Someone wants you to survive longer than the Pit‑Sworn usually do. You’ve received hints, favors, and quiet nudges from a sponsor who never shows their face. You don’t know who they are. You don’t know what they want. You only know this: they want you to interfere. Your task, as you understand it, is simple: fight well, survive, and uncover why this year’s Proving feels wrong. Ahead lie Blood Ring battles, team clashes, mounted relays, and the final challenge known as the Descent, a symbolic journey into the tunnels beneath Dras’Gromm. Most Pit‑Sworn never return from it. If you reach the Descent, you’ll be closer to the truth than any Pit‑Sworn has ever been. For now, all you can do is step into the sand, raise your weapon, and trust your instincts. Something in the Proving is shifting. And you are standing in the center of it.

Dragonbane - Secret of the Dragon Emperor

Newbie friendly Newbie friendly
LGBTQ+ friendly LGBTQ+ friendly
LGBTQ+ Friendly The Misty Vale was once the heart of the Dragon Empire. The ruins are littered with wealth, monsters, and secrets to ancient power. Adventurers, treasure-seekers, wandering knights, mystics, rogues, and oddballs alike all have their reasons for braving the dangers of the Vale. What’s your reason? I’m looking for players for Dragonbane, specifically the Secret of the Dragon Emperor campaign, though I’ll be modifying and expanding parts of it. It is a classic adventure fantasy setting. We will be using Discord for voice, and Foundry for dice, maps, character sheets, etc. Sessions will be on Saturdays at 11:00am EDT, and will typically last 3 to 4 hours. New players welcome. No prior experience with Dragonbane or other TTRPGs required. The system is very easy to pick up. I tend to run games that are immersive and conversational. I like players who engage with the setting, interact with the other PCs, talk to NPCs, pursue their own ideas, and treat the world like a real place instead of a sequence of encounters. I tend to run somewhat fast paced campaigns compared to a lot of people. The goal is a game that feels alive and active without feeling rushed. Apply here: https://forms.gle/2NugxqkESeiGi6sFA

The Phandalin Frontier: A Living Sandbox

Step into the Forgotten Realms and explore the wilds of the Sword Coast in a campaign built around freedom, discovery, and player choice. This is a true "Super-Sandbox" adventure that seamlessly weaves together the stories of 'Phandelver and Below' and 'Dragon of Icespire Peak' into one massive, living world. The game focuses on smart problem-solving, teamwork, and character-driven storytelling. In this version of the Sword Coast, combat carries cinematic weight; we utilize Lingering Injuries and Exhaustion mechanics to ensure that every victory feels hard-earned and every battle leaves a mark on your character's legend. Whether you are navigating the political factions of Phandalin or surviving the harsh mountain peaks, your choices shape the world naturally over time. This campaign is designed to be welcoming to newer players while still offering the mechanical depth and challenge that veterans crave. Rules are taught as needed through play, and your character’s backstory will be deeply woven into the mystery of the Shattered Obelisk and the threat of the dragon Cryovain. Gather your gear, trust your companions, and answer the call of adventure. The Sword Coast is dangerous, mysterious, and full of opportunity. How far your story goes is up to you! Game Details: Session length: 3 hours, with possible extension up to 30 minutes. Gametime: Tuesdays- 19:00 PM GMT+2 Platforms: Roll20, Discord, DnDBeyond Players: Open to adults of all experience levels Pricing: 20 USD per session via Startplaying.games Session 0 and Session 1 are FREE What you are paying for: - The work I put into my campaigns. I invest in additional maps, resources, and adapt the story when needed to ensure a memorable experience - Dedicated players with a certain level of maturity. A paid table helps avoid no shows and builds a committed group that aims to complete the campaign - Full access to DnDBeyond content - High quality maps from talented Patreon creators such as DM Andy, Czepeku, Mad Cartographer and more If you are interested and want to see more about my playstyle and information about the game, check this link: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmot3hapq004mkv048mpo7pbc

THIS IS NOW AN ACTIVE CAMPAIGN MONDAY GROUP WILL HAVE SESSION 2 next Monday  Online Campaign  Uses discord and roll20 ▪︎●▪︎●▪︎●▪︎ THE ROT THAT FOLLOWS  A Story-Driven Eldritch Horror Campaign in the Forgotten Realms You survive a nautiloid crash. You wash ashore in Seabrooke a coastal village that is literally sinking into the sea. Homes are half-submerged. The docks are rotting. People are disappearing. The poor are being “relocated” by order of Lord Darius Therin, the noble who controls the wealthy quarter above the flooding streets. The guards say it’s for their own safety. It isn’t. There’s something spreading through Seabrooke. People call it the Rot. No one agrees on what it is a plague, curse, or something far older. But it’s changing people. And Lord Therin knows more than he’s letting on. This campaign is set in the Forgotten Realms and leans heavily into eldritch horror, political tension, and slow building dread. ▪︎●▪︎●▪︎● What You Can Expect Strong focus on story and character choices Roleplay-heavy sessions with meaningful consequences Cosmic horror and creeping mystery Moral grey areas- no obvious “good” answers Milestone leveling (no XP tracking) Rule of Cool always welcome I run games that prioritize immersion and momentum. If something is dramatic, creative, and fits the moment, we’ll make it work. I’m more interested in telling a compelling story together than stopping the game to argue over edge-case mechanics. ▪︎●▪︎●▪︎●▪︎ This Game Is For You If: You enjoy darker fantasy with unsettling themes You like unraveling mysteries over time You want your character’s backstory to matter You prefer narrative weight over dungeon crawling grind ▪︎●▪︎●▪︎●▪︎ Seabrooke is sinking. Most adventures are built for you. Barovia was built to break you. Step into a living, breathing nightmare where your choices actually matter and your mistakes have consequences. This is a high-immersion, open-world campaign where the mists don't wait for you to be "ready." Beneath the looming spires of Castle Ravenloft, Count Strahd von Zarovich rules with a cruelty that has no end. In this sandbox, you are free to explore any corner of the realm, but beware: the world is NOT level-balanced. Survival requires wit, scouting, and the wisdom to know when to run. The Horror Experience: - True Sandbox Freedom: Go where you want, when you want. The world reacts to your presence (and your absence) in real-time. - Lethal Consequences: I utilize Lingering Injuries for critical hits. In this campaign, a lucky strike doesn't just lower your HP, it might leave a scar, a limp, or a broken rib that changes your story forever. - Atmospheric Immersion: Using stunning, high-res maps from DM Andy and Czepeku, fully optimized with Roll20 Dynamic Lighting to ensure every dark corner feels dangerous. Game Details: - System: D&D 5e - Schedule: Mondays at 19:00 CET / 20:00 EET - Session Length: 3 Hours (with a 30-minute extension buffer if needed). - Platforms: Roll20, Discord, and DnDBeyond (Full Content Sharing + Beyond20 integration for seamless, fast-paced play). Pricing & The "Pro" Trial: I believe in "Try Before You Buy." I want you to experience the quality of my table risk-free: - Session 0 & Session 1 are FREE. - Rate: $20 USD per session via Startplaying.games. - Bring a friend! If you join together, you BOTH get 50% OFF your first two paid sessions. What You Are Paying For: - Expert Preparation: I invest in premium resources and adapt the story to weave your character’s fears and flaws into the mists of Barovia. - Reliability & Maturity: A paid table avoids "no-shows" and ensures a committed group of adults dedicated to completing the campaign. - Full Access: Use my complete DnDBeyond library for character creation and enjoy top-tier assets from creators like Mad Cartographer and more. No politics of any kind: right, left, sexuality, real world religions, excessive feminism/whatever etc not allowed, if you have a need to make a fuss about that, you will be kicked out. It's perfectly fine to have those views, but don't bring them to the game (this is meant to be fun, social, intellectually challenging). If you have major psych problems that get in the way of simple social interaction (explosive outbursts etc) don't contact me. I do ask for telephone number just in case of you not showing up to game and you didn't tell me otherwise. Emergency stuff, like if you get sick or something. I do care about my players! Each new campaign, take a different class and role. PF1e tends to be combat focused, lots of teamwork, but there's puzzles, riddles, investigation too. I don't charge money, game time is Fridays at 6pm central. I have been GMing since 1997 or so, cut my gaming teeth on AD&D first ed. I go above and beyond for my players. This campaign is on Fridays at 6pm Central time Discord video chat, but we could change time/day if the other players are willing and able. Don't worry about the mechanics, they are a lot easier than most believe.  Right now we need someone to take over the 14th level elf wizard evoker admixture school variant, huge spell selection, and possibly one more of anything you can dream up within the confines of what classes I allow. We have a Ranger (archer), but the player is down for the count for medical reasons. We need that specific class filled first, but with Iron Gods you can pick what you want for the most part (you get first pick if possible since you are taking a hit by filling in a position in Carrion Crown), as only a few of the classes have been taken(unchained rogue, gunslinger, cleric, all 3 are female PCS but only one of them is run by a female player, just to show the sex attribute modifiers are actually useful and the new player is thinking up a melee warrior of some kind). Could use a Iron Gods Wizard/Technomancer off the top of my head. Gimme a heads up the day before canceling a game, always be ready to play at least 75% of the game sessions. You get high attributes (25 point buy), and max starting gold normally, but you gotta make the characters WITH MY DIRECT ASSISTANCE as I make sure they fit with the group and campaigns, plus I give out extra benefits.  For example, since Carrion Crown has lots of undead, don't do anything that imposes mental conditions, have really good saving throws. Iron Gods has much the same problem with robots, undead. I have a giant list of races available, some of which are androgynous, others exclusively male, others exclusively female. I instituted sexual dimorphism attribute modifiers to get players running more female characters, right now for example in Iron Gods we will have 3 female characters and likely one male, but played by players of either biological sex. Subtract 5 points from Strength for female characters, and add 2 points of Constitution, 2 points of Charisma, and 1 point of Wisdom. Please note that Elves, Drow, Gathlain, Ghoran, and Wyrwood are not subject to this ruling, so there is no difference mechanically between male or female characters for them. Interestingly, female characters are mathematically better for Oracles, Clerics (so long as you stay away from melee combat), Sorcerers, Psychics, Mesmerists, Gunslingers, Mediums, basically anyone that doesn’t need a decent Strength score, and could use the increased Constitution, Charisma, and a little bit of Wisdom. Yes, there are cheap ways to dramatically increase your carrying limits, I can show you. Skill based classes like the Rogue and Bard tend to be a mixed result, since a low Strength impacts carrying limits, Climb, Swim, and sometimes Intimidate. Male characters make better warrior types, so Fighters (melee and bows but not crossbows), Paladins, Samurai, Barbarians, Monks, Cavaliers, Inquisitors, Rangers tend to be male.  Banned Classes/Races Summoner (and Unchained version), Arcanist, Bloodrager, Brawler, Hunter, Investigator, Shaman, Skald, Slayer, Swashbuckler, Warpriest (this is all of the Advanced Class Guide), Vigilante, Shifter, all mythic paths are banned permanently (broken ruleset). Half-elves, Half-orcs are banned permanently; they are too mechanically similar to humans and don’t make sense genetically. Note that I never allow 3rd party (non Paizo) material (unless I honestly think they are balanced and appropriate but you gotta ask first), and I do not allow material that I don’t have access to personally. The various animal-people races are banned UNLESS THE CAMPAIGN HAS EXEPTIONS FOR IT, like the Gunslinger, Ninja, Samurai, Antipaladin (evil aligned only), Assassin (evil aligned only) classes. For example, we are eventually gonna play Iron Gods, and you get access to alien guns so the Gunslinger is welcome, one player made one already.  Lots of stupid puns and jokes. My campaigns tend to be accidentally lethal (thought I do play villains to the hilt), and my NPC's tend to react within the bounds of their Intelligence scores, and ruthlessly so. I poke players into beefing up their defenses in the low levels (in between game sessions), I value intelligence and wisdom in a player. I have no problem with potent PC's, so long as they play well with others and make sense. I tend to be very helpful in between game sessions, giving as much relevant info as possible without spoiling the plot, with less info for veteran players. Quite military friendly, as my NPCs tend to react realistically and tactically. I am extremely good at teaching, not just game mechanics but also tactics, even interaction with fellow players. During game sessions, I play all my NPC's to the hilt, so if they are actively trying to kill your PC, that's how it is. I rarely fudge dice results, when I do it's for drama's sake, trying to make the game exciting and interesting. I won't run Rise of the Runelords since I just got done with that, ran the whole shebang and Karzoug was a disappointment as written.  These are the Pathfinder campaigns I have: Rise of the Runelords, Jade Regent, Shattered Star, Return of the Runelords, Reign of Winter, Mummy's Mask, Iron Gods, Curse of the Crimson Throne, Skull & Shackles, Hell's Rebels, Ruins of Azlant, Carrion Crown, Tyrant's Grasp, Strange Aeons. The difficult campaigns I have access to are Council of Thieves (3.5 have to adjust it), Giantslayer (kinda boring starting book 4 for the GM), Goblin adventure series (very short), Hell's Vengeance (evil aligned PCs), Kingmaker (3.5 have to adjust it), Second Darkness (3.5 have to adjust it). Only a few APs exist that I won't run period.  That’s not even counting the dungeon crawl classics adventure modules. Reign of Winter will let you see 18th level since I tacked on a module at the end, Carrion Crown only 15th, all other PF campaigns 17th. No gestalt classes, nothing outside the list below. These are the Pathfinder classes I use: Warriors: Unchained Barbarian, Unchained Monk, Paladin, Fighter, Ranger (and possibly Gunslinger, Samurai if the setting is right), Cavalier Skill Monkeys: Bard, Ranger, Unchained Rogue Divine casters: Druid, Cleric, Oracle, Inquisitor Arcane casters: Sorcerer, Wizard, Witch, Alchemist, Magus Psychics: Kineticist, Medium, Mesmerist, Occultist, Psychic, Spiritualist I also run vampire 20th anniversary edition too, got one seat left in that campaign.

During game sessions, I play all my NPC's to the hilt, so if they are actively trying to kill your PC, that's how it is. I rarely fudge dice results, when I do it's for drama's sake, trying to make the game exciting and interesting. Vampire has difficult to make characters, as it demands more thought. However the game play dice mechanics/rules are easy as heck. The hard part is that it demands more forethought to play, because there's a lot of deceptive NPCs, including your own. It is oddly more ethical/moral than medieval fantasy games by far, even though you don't play a hero normally, and even though you're a vampire feeding on humans and aren't human yourself. It's darker I suppose, lots of intrigue and figuring out what is really going on. Kinda like watching Babylon 5 or Dune, you have to take notes to recall everything that could be vital later. A LOT less combat than medieval fantasy games! It's rare, but nasty when it does occur. Maturity is advised. The modern day core rulebook is the one you want to spend time reading for the lore, but dark ages will have the discipline dice mechanics. Also, the Book of Nod will feature in the campaign. VERY DETAILED homebrew campaign that can be changed if you do exactly the right things at the right time, you will want to take notes to refer to later on, no exaggeration. RIght now they are in late 1989, you will get their average xp to start with. You even get free generation if I can find a sire, an extra dot of disciplines, and 5 extra freebie plus 2 merits (Potent Aura, Common Sense/1 dot of Status). I give free Generation if you take from the official list. This can vary wildly based on what the two of us come up with (you dictate the parameters, I figure out how to make the mechanics do what you want and tell you about potential problems, and I pick out flaws so as to give you your own story arc). If you take from the Obscure list, you can buy your generation to 7th if you blow 6 background points on it.  Still gotta pick up Mentor for your sire, though.    I had to make tiny changes to V20 to make it simpler, faster. Like Celerity, Fortitude, Potence. Also I don't use crap like Awareness, Larceny, and I kept the damn Linguistics skill as it is needed. That kind of thing. I even have combat rounds with meaningful character speed when I gotta be aware of the local terrain/number of villains etc. The Giovanni I replaced with Cappadocians and Lamia, as the Giovanni were megalomaniacs and incompetent besides, plus they don't seem to be at all relevant to any setting. The Ravnos I replaced as being totally divorced from the rest of the game, they don't have any influence, and seem to exist solely for troublemaking players. So, they got booted in favor of the Salubri, who actually ARE useful. Finally, I outright replaced all Setites with Baali, the latter are a much better written, and much more competent version of the Setites' Lovecraftian "I wanna bring demons into the world" schtick.  I noticed that if you played the Sabbat as written, they'd be wiped out entirely by werewolves, human hunters, and the Camarilla long ago. Worse, if they somehow managed to survive, they'd be discovered as vampires by humanity BECAUSE of their silly anti masquerade antics. On top of that, eating one's elders is a bad idea. All the Sabbat had was neonates and super buff elders, nothing in between. That means their stated purpose was a shambles. I changed their purpose to (eliminating the focus on fighting clan founders) dominating humanity, making humans into slaves. The Black Hand has been subsumed into the Sabbat as a whole. Official list of clans/bloodlines you can take in Chicago compatible with the group as it is: Nosferatu (must take Dark Fate flaw), Toreador, Ventrue, Brujah, Gangrel(Sabbat), Malkavian, City Gangrel (Camarilla), Tzimisce, Gargoyle, Caitiff (Anarch typically), Assamite (Sabbat) Obscure list (you can take them if you want, but you won't have support from fellow clan members in Chicago): Salubri (Warrior and very Camarilla), True Brujah. Caitiff are interesting, I made them able to teach ANY discipline they learn; normally the 13 clans can only teach their clan disciplines. A Tzimisce who goes Camarilla eventually has huge story potential, and could aid the group extensively via Vicissitude 2, Koldunism (need a level 3 ritual late in the campaign), and Animalism to hose over werewolves and aid the party vs frenzy. A Tremere is possible, but you'd need to be a diehard Anarch (meaning the local Tremere want your keister dead). Got a Cappadocian (a hospital morgue doctor), Salubri (one healer(an FBI agent), one watcher (a homicide police detective), and Lasombra (an amateur boxer and criminal lawyer, he wants to go Camarilla), and the new player took a Lamia with clan access to Celerity as well, she's a former archaeology student. Don't need Auspex as we have too much already.  I also run Pathfinder 1e campaigns.

The galaxy is changing… and not for the better. The Yuuzhan Vong have arrived from beyond the known galaxy, bringing living ships, terrifying biotechnology, and a hatred of machines that has already left entire worlds in ruin. The New Republic is struggling to respond, the Jedi are stretched thin, and the hyperspace lanes are filled with refugees, rumors, and fear. In the middle of this chaos, you are part of a small crew trying to survive and make a difference. Maybe you’re Jedi trying to understand this strange new enemy. Maybe you’re soldiers fighting a desperate delaying action. Smugglers, scouts, diplomats, and survivors all have a place in a galaxy where the rules of war are rapidly changing. This campaign will focus heavily on roleplay, character choices, and the personal stories that unfold during a massive galactic war. Expect tense negotiations, dangerous missions behind enemy lines, moral dilemmas, and moments where your characters must decide what they’re willing to sacrifice to protect the galaxy. The Yuuzhan Vong are coming. Who will your character be when the galaxy needs heroes… or survivors? Looking for GM and Players.  Saturdays 10:00 AM GMT Does this day and time work for you, and can you reliably make the sessions? How old are you and how much RPG experience do you have? Do both you and your character work well in a team? Are you familiar with Saga Edition and do you have a copy of it? What is your character concept?

A corporate black project gone wrong? Or something far stranger lurking in unexplored space? Your crew will travel to isolated colonies, abandoned outposts, and deep-space installations to uncover the truth. Expect investigation, exploration, tense encounters, and the possibility that whatever caused the disappearances may still be out there. System: Star Frontiers Tone: Sci-fi mystery, exploration, action, and lots of role play Characters: Frontier operatives hired to investigate the missing colonies The Frontier is vast. The Phandalin Frontier: A Living Sandbox

Paid game Paid game
Combat focused Combat focused
Gametime: Saturdays - 4:00 PM GMT+2 Platforms: Roll20, Discord, DnDBeyond Players: Open to adults of all experience levels Pricing: 20 USD per session via Startplaying.games Session 0 and Session 1 are FREE What you are paying for: - The work I put into my campaigns. I invest in additional maps, resources, and adapt the story when needed to ensure a memorable experience - Dedicated players with a certain level of maturity. A paid table helps avoid no shows and builds a committed group that aims to complete the campaign - Full access to DnDBeyond content - High quality maps from talented Patreon creators such as DM Andy, Czepeku, Mad Cartographer and more If you are interested and want to see more about my playstyle and information about the game, check this link: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmouafmy1008vii045ay9o9wv

Over time, people forgot the old world and remembered only one figure from history: The Creator Then the impossible happened the Void suddenly stopped spreading, and the lost ruins of ancient kingdoms slowly began to return. Survivors finally left the safety of the Spire to rebuild civilization from what remained. Now, fifty years later, new kingdoms rise from the ruins while old tensions grow between them. Political conflict, economic struggles, hidden wars, and dangerous discoveries threaten the fragile peace of the new age.

Marvel Multiverse Revenge of the Super-Skrull

LGBTQ+ friendly LGBTQ+ friendly
Newbie friendly Newbie friendly
An introductory adventure of the Marvel Multiverse RPG.  This game is designed specifically for players who are brand new to roleplaying or the Marvel Multiverse RPG.  Players take the role of Marvel Superheroes and learn the game as they play; again there is to experience necessary.  In this adventure, 2 to 6 players will take on the role of one of a select few Marvel Heroes Player Characters (PC): Ant-Man Daredevil Hawkeye (Clint Barton) Luke Cage Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) Wolverine (Laura Kinney) These characters are the cast which the adventure was designed around.  They include heroes of street level (neighborhood) or formidable (city) level heroes, that will be brought together to deal with a four act adventure scenario.  Adventure Length: Depending on game play speed, the adventure is expected to take between 4 to 8 days to complete.  It is possible to complete an Act each session, but this is an average estimate.  A group of players more knowledgeable of the rules, could possible complete this adventure under 4 days. Adventure Schedule Occurrence:  Once per week Session Length: Each session can be expected to approximately 4 hours Date/Time: Fridays 4pm Pacific Daylight Savings (GMT -7) If you love superhero films, series, comics, or video games, you may have a blast playing Marvel Multiverse.  Just take on the “acting” role of a PC and jump in on the fun. Interested people should respond with an interest that includes a brief introduction.  Your introduction should include your experience in ttrpgs in general (if applicable, maybe list a few games you’ve played/ran) as well as your experience with Roll20 (including how well you know how to use its features).  You should leave a message in the Campaign Threads (Posts) or DM me. Thanks https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/443826/marvel-multiverse Note: I will be running other Marvel Adventures as well.  After I've run several different adventures, I will eventually look to run a long length campaign. Rather you wish to continue playing all the adventures, or only wish to learn the game to move on, here's an opportunity to learn about the Marvel Multiverse Game, using just the Core rules (to get down the foundation), this will help you gain experience, have fun, and meet some new people

We need a DM for Pirate Things

[5e 2014 or 2024/mixed Dm's choice] Aloha, fellas! We're a group of 5 players looking for a DM for a campaign for pirate adventures!  We prefer a lighter, high-fantasy tone, with enough character focus for deep emotional moments and development like you might find within One Piece, Treasure Planet, or even Peter Pan. We're hoping to maintain ourselves as a smaller crew, as is done within the forms of media mentioned above, slowly growing a bit larger over time as we explore and upgrade our ship. We'd be playing on Fridays, 7:30pm EST We're looking for a Roleplay-focused adventure. Our desired split is roughly 40% Roleplay, 30% Combat, and 30% Exploration. We've got an idea of what role each person wants to be good at. 1. Is looking to fill the Surgeon role while maintaining their combat capacity as a Sniper(Kinda like a reverse Chopper in my opinion) 2. Is looking to help take care of the boat while fulfilling their role as a Chef. 3. Is deadset on being the ship's Musician. 4. A player who is new to D&D is looking forward to being a Shipwright. 5. Is me. I am looking forward to being a capable Navigator who has managed to wrangle the Captain position. As you can see, we have many roles left to be filled by various NPCs, including the Navigator position. We can't wait to hear all the ideas had by the folks who hit us up here!

Chrome Fires Burning: a Cities Without Number cam

Newbie friendly Newbie friendly
LGBTQ+ friendly LGBTQ+ friendly
Looking for 1-2 players for a CWN campaign tentatively titled “Chrome Fires Burning.” Voice is on Discord, VTT will probably be roll20. Everyone is welcome, the only rule is don’t be a dick. Games will be Saturday nights at 9PM CST Elevator pitch is as follows: The year is 2072. In 2025 the development of a new drug, ephemerol, lead to unbelievable advances in cybernetics and technological implantation. Able to bridge the gap between the nervous system and machine circuitry, ephemerol was hailed as a miracle drug, ushering in a new age of transhumanism However, before this new technological golden age could be upon us, it was smothered in the cradle by corporate greed. A jealousy guarded secret, the corporations who developed it held the formula for the miracle drug hostage, demanding corporate sovereignty in exchange for granting access to the masses. A combination of public promises, lobbyists, and paid politicians ensured this deal went through The gift became a double edged sword as the drug was distributed, only working with the cybernetics supplied by those corporations granted sovereignty, allowing them to gobble up more and more influence, to the point that entire cities have become little more than corporate towns, beholden to the companies that own them Within these sovereign territories, anything that threatens the bottom line is meet with brutal consequences. The workers who decided to rise up, to unionize, were branded criminals and domestic terrorists, locked away if not executed in a back alley Public utilities have been sold off little by little, leaving those who refuse the hand of the corporations with rapidly dwindling resources. The once mighty governments of the world now forced to bend the knee to the oligarchs Gangs run rampant, acting with impunity as long as their dues are paid, or left to their own devices due to lack of resources to stop them Despite this turmoil, there is new opportunity. Companies now fight a desperate war for market share, managers willing to pay to sabotage one another for the next promotion. Money talks, and right now, it’s screaming Chicago is one such battleground. Built into a shining edifice as the headquarters of several massive corporations, it now resembles a patchwork of countries, as each corporation claims sovereign territory within the blocks of city property it lays claim to. A hub of trade even in this time, boardroom battles spill out on to the streets, bullet and blade picking up where ink and negotiation fail

grounded: the helix organizations mistakes

Homebrew Homebrew
Newbie friendly Newbie friendly
The Helix Initiative was introduced to the public as a revolutionary leap in environmental adaptation, biological medicine, and survival science. Officially, the organization claimed it was developing new ways for humanity to survive ecological collapse, disease, and resource shortages. Behind closed doors, however, Helix operated hidden research divisions dedicated to experimentation far beyond legal or ethical limits. Somewhere deep within those divisions, a scientist identified in surviving records only as Dr. W██d████ T████ developed a machine capable of shrinking living organisms to less than an inch tall. The technology was presented internally as a breakthrough in resource efficiency and medical research—but many of the subjects brought into testing were children between the ages of eight and sixteen. Most never returned. You are one of the survivors. After undergoing the procedure, you awaken inside an ordinary city park that has become an impossible wilderness at your scale. Blades of grass tower like trees. Puddles become lakes capable of drowning entire groups. Ants patrol the dirt like armored soldiers, while spiders transform sections of the park into web-choked death zones. Every inch of terrain matters. Every storm is catastrophic. Survival depends on learning how to weaponize the environment itself—crafting tools and defenses from thorns, sap, insect shells, broken plastic, roots, and scavenged debris left behind by previous miniature civilizations that clearly did not survive for long. As you explore deeper into the park, you begin discovering abandoned outposts, collapsed shelters, and fragmented Helix logs detailing increasingly unstable experiments. The records reference attempts to create “evolutions chosen suvivors” capable of evolving beyond normal biological limits. Again and again, one phrase appears alongside heavily censored personnel files: MARROW SYNDROME. The disease slowly destroys the body in stages—first decaying bone tissue, then muscle structure, and finally flooding the lungs with blood. Somewhere among the corrupted files are hints that Dr. W██d████ T████ never joined Helix out of loyalty. Some logs imply he infiltrated the organization to expose its corruption, free the surviving test subjects, and continue researching a cure for a terminally ill child connected to the syndrome. Whether those rumors are true remains uncertain. Helix officially denies the existence of both the disease and the scientist. Not every strange thing in the park comes from Helix laboratories. Survivors occasionally encounter a bizarre figure known only as Rock—a hyper-muscular talking bee obsessed with shouting “MUSCLE” at every possible opportunity. Most groups dismiss him as insane until they realize he understands far more about the park than he should. One moment he acts like a reckless coach forcing terrified children to become stronger, and the next he casually references erased facilities, failed experiments, or “previous attempts” that nobody else remembers. Near the edges of abandoned Helix sectors, Rock sometimes becomes unusually quiet, staring into empty space before muttering warnings that sound less like jokes and more like genuine fear. HE IS WATCHING YOUR EVERY MOVE...

One thousand years in the future, all civilizations crumble after a new monster takes over the world. They don't hunt like normal animals or monsters. They hunt tactically. They set traps, lure in their prey by using familiar sounds and always stick together. The only time they ever separate is when they know the prey is an easy kill or if they believe it. (These monsters have no name rn cause so far it's js an idea with one play and dm). The players are the last remaining hunters of these monsters. Everyone else either died trying to help end them or they quit not willing to lose their lives.  If interested you can contact me here but preferably on discord, user:masterofmimics1, as I check it more often than here.

ABOUT: This adventure takes place in the Sansinukob Wildspace. This system has 13 planets, held together by a dead and forgotten god at the center. There are no suns here, only moons to illuminate every planet. Fifty years ago, a monstrous sea serpent named Bakunawa awakened from her slumber, consumed by endless hunger. She consumed all six moons above planet Tawalisi, one by one, until they were left in darkness for thirty years. Twenty years ago, the datu, Maximo Catubig, invented Bulan Lights, magical lamps that emit artificial moonlight, finally bringing light back to his people. They were a solace, soon placed in every home in Tawalisi. The people were finally able to thrive again, and Maximo helped pave the way to further technological advancement. However, decades of darkness had taken its toll; Some of the citizens of Tawalisi have become consumed by the same hunger that possessed Bakunawa, mutating their bodies and destroying their minds until all they can think about is eating the Bulan Lights. They will stop at nothing to consume all sources of moonlight, and will hurt and kill anything and anyone that gets in the way. Datu Maximo has called for help from all adventurers willing to listen. Assist him in installing these lights wherever he can, so he can save his people from being plunged into darkness again. Humanity now exists within walled in cities that are surrounded by lights, the only deterrent against the creatures that attack the walls at night. Despite the horrors at their doorstep, everyone tries to continue their lives as if nothing ever happened. Mundanity is pervasive, if held sacred by most of society. Hellow and Welcome! My name is Riley (He/Him), and my girlfriend and I have moved to Marietta, GA and we'd like to get an in-person game going, weekly, if possible. We'd be happy to run a persistant campaign or campaigns using Dungeons & Dragons 5th Eddition, D&D 5.5th Edition, Draw Steel, or another system entirely if people are interested. I have more than a decade of DM experience, and my hope is to get a small group together in person to run a custom capaign for us. I've helped new players learn TTRPG systems before, and there's nothing I like more than helping others get invested in the story and world of our campaign.  It would be up to the group what kind of game and setting we run in. I've comfortably run Heroic Fantasy, Dark Fanatasy, Sword and Sorcery, Steampunk, Dieselpunk, Space Opera, Post-Apocalyptic, and Urban Fantasy before, so whatever kind of world and story we''d like to persue, I'm sure I can oblige. As an added perk we have a proper tabletop gaming table for us to play at, cupholders and all! The only cost accociated with the game would be that everyone would be asked to bring some snackes and/or drinks for the table. If you're situated anywhere within driving distance of Marietta, GA, we'd love to have you over for decent snacks & beer, better games, and even better memories!

The Devil's Island

Paid game Paid game
A campaign for players of all level of experience. If you enjoy a long term campaign that's heavy role-playing with combat that's pirate themed, then come join the adventure  ☠️ The Devil’s Island ☠️ Gold has a way of finding the desperate… and the foolish. You were both. Seven thousand platinum. Split between strangers. All for a simple job-no blood, no risk, just a staged heist in one of the most luxurious taverns you’ve ever set foot in. Steal a ruby, outplay the competition, walk away richer than you’ve ever dreamed. Easy. It was supposed to be easy. But somewhere between the laughter, the wagers, and the clink of fine glasses… something changed. The other crews never made it back. Their ships were found broken-dragged beneath black waves, crews drowned, cargo lost to the deep. And somehow… every whisper, every accusation, every scrap of evidence points to you. Now you’re not competitors. You’re fugitives. To clear your names, you’ll need to do the unthinkable-steal a ship, outrun the law, and chase the truth across unforgiving seas. But the deeper you dig, the worse it gets. There are rumours. Of an artifact called the veilbreaker, stolen the same night as the ruby. Of storms that rise without warning, swallowing fleets whole. Of the dead… refusing to stay buried. Out on the open sea, it isn’t just pirates hunting you. The ocean remembers. And something beneath the waves wants you dead. About the Campaign: A seafaring module. It is an anthology of several different stories, all nautical and sea themed. Originally made to be a series of oneshots, I turn them into a single narrative, combining the plot into a single thing ! Expect ship combat, ship travel and good old sea shanties, all the while exploring what haunts the village of Saltmarsh. About time: I have sessions run at least 3 hours About DM : I am an experienced DM of 5 years making a new campaign open for new players to join. I'll be happy to teach and explain anything about Dnd. I am happy to accommodate any type of player, as long as they are not disruptive and are not causing issues for me or any other players. I tend to do more RP then Combat, so expect about a 60/40 split, if not 70/30. About cost: I ask for 15 USD payment at least 24 hour before the session. Refund will be made with reasonable situations as well as refunded at the end of session if you're not willing to continue. About character creation: Lvl 1, per the module's rules Stat will be rolled with a minimum of 70. Time is set to Mondays 7 PM EST

The Fallen Statue of the Great Unifier

Horror Horror
No paid games No paid games
Beneath the sands of a dead empire, something ancient is waking up. The Caluthean Empire ruled this region for thousands of years before it vanished. What remains are ruins half-swallowed by sand including a massive collapsed monument called the Fallen Statue of the Great Unifier This is an ongoing campaign with 3 regular players currently. The system is Old School Essentials Advanced Fantasy. We use a lot of elements from AD&D 1st edition. What I am looking for: Players that love dark fantasy adventure gaming, somewhere between Dying Earth (Jack Vance), The Black Company (Glen Cook) and other Sword and Sorcery, to high fantasy realms like old gray box Forgotten Realms. People who enjoy adventure, exploration, and risks. My goal is to turn this into a West Marches style game. There is a lot of the world to explore, treasures to be found, territories to be taken.  What you are getting: Adventure in a dynamic, fully realized world with lots of influences from real ancient cultures. Treasure, character growth, multiple characters to choose from, compelling mysteries and dangerous foes! Details: System: OSE Advanced Fantasy Setting: Sajetan, an original world, currently desert-heavy, ancient-empire aesthetic (currently). Schedule: Sundays at 11AM CT / 12PM ET / 9AM PT / 5PM GMT / 6PM CET Format: Online via VTT (Discord and Owlbear Rodeo) Experience: No experience required. Familiarity with OSE can help but is not required. We use a lot of the optional OSE rules (and some homebrew rules), but you will have access to a lot of classes and races, spells, weapons, etc. Getting Started: Send me a message or contact me on Discord: Maervahr Once you gain access to the Discord, read through the Character Building guide and use the Dice Rolling channels to start rolling up a character.  You can have up to 3 characters for your stable using the Character Building guide (I recommend having at least one backup character).  I have also compiled a document for our House Rules (mostly optional OSE rules).

You - Criminals. The City? On Fire. Your Escape: A train. Can you make it till the end in this horror homebrewed Mork Borg adventure? In this world of devastation, tucked away in the taint of Bergen Chrypt, resides the hilltop enclave of Kragzuul. Beneath its stony peaks and spires, are the lowland slums. There, joining an organized crime family offers the denizens, what is often, their best shot at surviving another day.  Join a criminal family and try to escape the demonic entities ferrying characters to the realm of the Creature King... I have been invited to run "Train of The Damned" at Anime Central this weekend in Rosemont (Chicagoland), Illinois. If you will be attending the convention, consider reserving your spot at the table! This session will be held in the gaming area and you'll need a convention badge! The adventure is part of a larger Zine that I am producing as a supplement for MB titled, "Verdammt." It will run similarly to a more classically stylized OSR with deadly twists and combat lurking around each corner. Players can create their own characters or utilize an assortment of premade characters as they attempt to survive the "Great Cleanse" in the slums beneath the isolated kingdom of Kragzuul. I've been GMing for three years now, with a recent focus on running Shadowdark and Mörk Borg adventures. And now, I am very much looking forward to sharing this adventure in a convention setting. NOTE: Mörk Borg lends itself to dark, atmospheric, and gothic scenes that are not for everyone, and this one-shot in particular, features significant narrative death that usually leads to graphic language while roleplaying. The table will agree to "Lines & Veils" but please keep this in mind.

Hey this is our Multiversal game where the players are heroes summoned and revived by the gods in order to fix the universe that has started to unravel due to the actions of a few.  The party travels around the various planes doing quests and missions to stabilize the universe and also bring some good into reality.  The game largly plays as several back to back arcs and oneshots with a slight overarching story. The game blends sci-fi, fantasy, and all sorts of genres This game has been ongoing but with several people leaving I'm trying to revamp it and bring new life to this game

[LOOKING FOR GROUP] [TUESDAYS] [PF2E OR SF2E]

A kind person on Reddit showed me to this site in the hopes that we'd find a group! The total players in this listing says "TWO", but we're willing to integrate into a group of 4 or less! Hello again, LFG, my old friend! I'm once again hunting for a game, this time with a friend in tow! We've been struggling to schedule games with myself as the GM amongst our friends, so we figured we'd cast a net out and see who we can find as two players instead. We're both in our late 20s and have experience with Pathfinder 2E and Starfinder 2E already, and we're looking for more! A little bit about us both individually - deino - I am a reptile enthusiast who has about a baker's dozen ideas for characters at any given time. I work as a librarian and I can get along well with just about anyone. Combat is my favorite thing in the world. the mysterious other guy - They asked me to "describe them if I dare". They're tactically-minded and well-informed on Pathfinder and Starfinder rules, but that doesn't stop them from being a bog-adjacent creature with an appetite for chaos. Both of us would prefer a table with a relaxed and patient atmosphere. Tuesdays in the EST evenings work best for us- Saturdays are a solid "maybe". If you think we'd be a good fit for your table, please send me a DM on reddit, or on discord- I'm deino. Just deino, like the Pokemon. Thank you for reading this through, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

I'm looking for a DM who takes requests or is looking to learn by using an existing homebrew world for a group with six players. I have a game world already mostly put together that I used as a DM but would like to take from the player's side in this instance, the game is an amalgam of various existing nerd culture franchises such as Star Wars, Marvel, DC and anime where the characters and lore exist simultaneously and always have which create a unique setting rich with possibilities for the players to adventure and explore. We live in the Pacific Northwest but having an online DM who lives elsewhere but connects online is totally welcome, looking forward to hearing from you and having fun with you soon! Hello to whoever stumbles onto this post. I am an on-and-off DM of about four years. I've recently gotten some inspiration to start a new campaign after sometime away from the table and have begun work on gathering people to roll some dice with. I am looking for players of any skill level and experience (I especially enjoy welcoming beginners). I hope that group will be able to learn together and hopefully create a lasting story for us all to enjoy. The systems I plan to use for this potential campaign are 5e (2014), Savage Worlds, The Cosmere RPG, and the Without Number series. The system will be decided once the group has made their desires for the game known. We will be using Foundry VTT and Discord for our games. For a quick rundown of current campaign settings I have in mind: - An Occult Noir-style game set in a demiplane where the various warlock patrons of 5e are more akin to powerful mob families and gangs. The party will be a  ragtag group of assistants and associates to a rather (in)famous private investigator. The group will have to walk the tightrope between the temperamental factions as they aim to solve a murder that their boss couldn't solve, their own. - An Interstellar Space Opera set in a brand new frontier of space that has only recently been made accessible to the wider galaxy. The group will be playing as a very underqualified, undertrained, and outgunned delivery crew in a beaten-down spaceship held together by hopes and dreams. It's up to the group to make their deliveries to the bustling new worlds and colonies of the sector while contending with dangers ranging from new and hostile fauna to pirates looking to make use of the hyperlanes as abundant hunting grounds. - A Science-Fantasy campaign set in a world akin to other settings like Eberron. The world will be one that has been marked by the coming and goings of many ages leaving behind an odd mish-mash of a setting that will have the classic staples of high fantasy but also with some more scifi elements Leaving the door open for things like players with access to things like mini mech suits that have been made using the combiantion of tech and magic or flintlocks that use arcane powder to use spells in cruder and more unrefined ways. This campaign will be weekly or bi-weekly on Fridays at 6pm CST, but these details are definitely negotiable once we have more people in and we can plan our sessions better. Currently, I have only two seats filled, and I am looking to hit a group size of 4 or 5. Please let me know if you are interested in any of the potential campaigns and If you have any further questions feel free to ask me anything!

Shadows over the East A Player-Driven Sandbox in the Unapproachable East Mondays at 5pm GMT The lands of the East have endured a long, bitter decline. Demon cults whisper in the shadows once more. The noble courts of Impiltur and Damara, once bulwarks of justice, rot from within—nobles trading oaths for coin while the Church of the Triad wanes beneath the weight of corruption. To the north, the broken tribes of Narfell cling to survival amid the haunted ruins of their demon-binding past. To the south, the Great Dale teeters on the edge of chaos—its northern reaches infested with fiend-spawn, while the druids of Leth guard the southern forests and trust few outsiders. And across it all, the veil between worlds grows thin. In lonely forests, forgotten barrows, and beneath the cities of men. Things that should not be slip through, leaving only fear and ruin in their wake. In these uncertain times, salvation—or damnation—will not come from kings or gods. It will come from those who choose to act. A Living World, Shaped by Its People Shadows over the East is a character-driven sandbox campaign set in the Unapproachable East (Forgotten Lands). The story unfolds through player choices—alliances formed, oaths broken, and the moral weight of survival in a world sliding toward darkness. The details are yours to define—what you serve, what you’ve lost, and what you hope to reclaim. These ties will shape how the East sees you—and how you choose to shape it in return. The Campaign Tone Dark Realism, Flickering Hope. The East is weary but not lost. Consequences Matter. Factions remember, and choices echo. Personal Stakes. Faith, legacy, and redemption lie at the heart of every story. Campaign plays at 5pm GMT Mondays. Cost is $15 per session. https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmngivpu300jwl504q2qnyacz

Goodyear 5e homebrew campaign forming — looking for 3–5 players Hi! My wife and I recently moved to Goodyear and are looking to start an in-person D&D 5e campaign. I’m a longtime/forever DM by preference and have run multiple multi-year campaigns. System: D&D 5e ('24 preferred, '14 fine) Schedule: Weekly Saturdays or Sundays, likely late morning/early afternoon Session length: Around 6 hours Location: Goodyear, hosted at our house after we’ve had a chance to meet/chat first Style: Emphasis on roleplay and challenging encounters in a homebrew campaign. We’re looking for players who are willing to speak in character during in-game social interactions. You don’t need a character voice, just make sure we can tell in character vs out of character. We’re especially hoping to find at least one more woman for the group so my wife isn’t the only woman at the table. If that sounds interesting, message me on Discord and we can talk campaign style, expectations, and fit.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeons and Dragonites

I am a hard-core pokemon mystery dungeon fan. Pokerole has a system but personally they didnt keep it simple enough nor did they keep the dungeon vibe. So I created a game that gives you both PMD as well as DND. This system is complete with a classes moves and custom character sheets. Im looking for somenplayers who wanna run some first mock dungeons and maybe later on start a full campaign.  Quick attention grabber- You awaken in darkness. No memory. No answers. Only instinct. You are a Pokémon now. And the world has changed. Dungeons shift beneath reality itself—filled with traps, treasures, and things that should not exist. To survive, you must fight, adapt, and descend deeper into the unknown. Some seek answers. Some seek power. Most never return.  What will you become? Will you uncover the truth behind your awakening? Or will you gather what you can… and run before the dungeon claims you?

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Welcome to Sil'Lumina, a still wild continent in the early stages of settlement. As cities and towns rise, and various interests struggle for power, something stronger stirs beneath the surface and in the shadows. What mysteries will you uncover? What impact will the choices you make have on the fledgling civilization? Only time and a roll of the dice will tell. This is a homebrew setting, in a world that I'm slowly building. Picture a combination of the Rennaisance and the Victorian era, and you're close to the vibe. I lean into THE RULE OF COOL a lot, so leave your rules lawyering at the door. This is also an LGBTQIA+ friendly "table", so I ask that you don't join if you're going to be a bigot (or if your character is going to be a bigot). My "table" is a safe space. This is not up for negotiation. Being that it's a homebrew setting, homebrew races and classes will be allowed (within reason and with prior arrangement). I'm happy to work with ideas and will do my best to make them happen. Newbies and the inexperienced are more than welcome to join, so I ask that more experienced players be patient and understanding and not disparage any new players at the "table". Feel free to message me with any questions, comments, concerns. I look forward to hearing from you!

Echoes-Beyond-Realms

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Brief Description of setting: General vibe has fun daftness of a mostly at sea adventure set in a high fantasy homebrew world with some modest Lovecraftian cosmic horror aspects on serious story details while also taking some mild inspiration from Ebberon, and various comic/anime nods. Setting is based in a world with odd occurrences of rifts to various planes, usually dangerous but somewhat controlled in parts. It is a more exotic race/species friendly world, so not human or preferably not human-esk or commonly used fitting in types. In its origin and in the present some of the average in power common races would be Dragonborn, Drow, Varied Genasi, Tiefling of many coloration and minor mix, Goblinoids, Kobold, and various more animal related folk. I do play in some personalised design flavour with such eg: an aarakocra may be designed to be like a bluejay, robin or cardinal. Other bigger world history topics enlightening more to the lack of human populace, cosmic phenomenon and certain hostilities/indifferences between other types of species can be discussed. I try to make good use of character backgrounds and their species connections to world to fuel story, adding and altering as things evolve. On going Party: Water Genasi Warlock- making up for Deep sea cultist history. Kalashtar (Differently designed in origin via other species mix) Blood hunter - dealing with corrupted memory and past related to kidnapping. Fairy Bard - consciousness escaped from a variant of the deck of many Void card and found her body remains minimal in a clockwork toy. Story in motion: The group of female adventurers began on the docks of a central city of my own homebrew world with former players who each had life causes need for taking leave though still their characters are regarded as npc in story. The group has since made their way on seas with strange encounters and new understandings of phenomena linking them. When venturing on the ocean floor after backstory relevant face offs and timeline altering's the group gradually bonded further before having to take on a mission off world in aid of a friend's plight. When the game is:  Fortnightly Sunday eves 5 till 10, start and end is likely a bit in ways of player chatter and ease on to timing of game if we get straight in may end early at time, but either way we usually have mini break. Time/Country: Due to prior difficulty I'd prefer players to be located for 5pm-10pm GMT. Rule/Play Style: High magic with mild steampunk pirate stuff but mainly Fantasy Horror vibes, RP and combat 60/40. Chunks of story can be capable of leaning the odd bit to one more than other. Hombrewy/RuleOfCool-we have homebrew rules with things like exhaustion and crits damage and attunement slots, nothing unlikely to be all too unheard of but primarily we aim for character story lead rulings for well formed character design and in play character related ideas. Resources/VTT needed: voice and vid -Discord, dnd beyond, roll20. New PC starting Level: 7 (up via milestones)with a feat from start and with 4th lvl as well as ability mod- https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/432602/echoes-beyond-realms *--See roll20 link above for other about me/group details and applications. -- *2014/2024 rule use is covered mildly on link but ultimately as the majority of rules are 2014 into Tashas and vast personalised house rulings we have, I can at best say there is mild openness to newer rules being i see it as modest differences from what we already have in place.

The nights seem to never end as occupants of these accursed landscapes suffer in darkness. The people of Tepest pray to the Mother for a merciful Tithe. The survivors of Falknovia brave an unending hoard of undead and eachother. The scientists of Lamordia create their own monsters as they twist and pervert the natural world. The dread domains offer no respite to the those of feeble will. Can you survive? Seeking 5 players for a horror centric campaign spanning the Dread Domains. Players will traverse through several hostile lands, each posing a different and horrific threat. I hope to find players who seek to build characters with emotional depth and add to a collaborative narrative in a meaningful way. Players who will fully immerse themselves in the horror setting, allowing their characters to feel desperate, terrified, and lost but still, for one reason or another, hardy enough to fight on. As a nonbinary Latina, I prioritise making my games a safe space for the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC community . Full transparency, I see a safe space for these communities as a space filled with staunch advocates and allies. This goes double as this game will ask players for a level of vulnerability that others must respect. If advocating for these groups isn’t a meaningful part of your identity then you need not apply. Additional note, no part of my game will include generative AI. I think to use AI in any capacity for TTRPGs is disrespectful to the writers, designers, and artists who put lifetimes worth of effort, skill, and craftsmanship into creating this community. Not to mention to socio-ecological harm of AI either. I will also not allow AI to be used for character tokens or any other reasons. Everything in my game will be made with human craftsmanship for better or worse This game will start players at level 3 and we’ll play until level 5. We’ll play weekly, three days on and one day off. I try to level up players at least every 10 sessions. As of now I see this game running for a max of  8 months, in which time we’ll either continue with the same characters or try something else. Please submit your application here. Thanks in advance for any who take the time to apply!

Hazecrux: Lines in the Mist

Homebrew Homebrew
Roleplay focused Roleplay focused
Hazecrux is a city where myth and legend walk the streets alongside ordinary people—and most never notice. The Mist hides the strangeness from the Sleepers, shrouding the mythic in the mundane. A knight in shining armor might pass by unnoticed, save for the regard one might give someone decked out in riot gear and a shock baton, which they see instead of steel armor and sword. When reality becomes too strange to explain, the Mist can fail, though it usually smooths over memories and fills in the blanks later. People forget the strange and remember what happened. But some can see through the Mist; those who have awakened as Rifts can see the world as it is. They are individuals touched by myths and stories. Tales that live through them and seek to guide their lives. These legends grant incredible supernatural abilities, but come with the cost of the lives of those who carry them. The more power a Rift embraces, the closer they come to becoming nothing more than an avatar of the thing itself. Of course, the city itself has a history and a story, and that has not always been peaceful. Many years ago, a disaster known as the Calamity shattered the city that was. During the chaos, the Original Overseer unveiled his plan and sent everyone to the safety of bunks built beneath the city in the Understead. He apparently did not predict that the legendary hero Excelsior would return from the dead and turn on the city itself; A city he once saved. An entire bunkers of civilians were slaughtered before a single luchador from El Distro finally defeated him. Since then, masked luchadores have become the city’s champions, filling the void left when the once-celebrated Guild of Superheroes collapsed due to their siding with their returned leader. After the Calamity, the Overseer vanished. His successor was Tina Bellows, the woman who saved his life from the attack of Excelsior, and was broken in the process. She now runs the city more openly. Unlike her predecessor, even Sleepers know her name. Not all are happy with her rule. A young man Zander Tombs has become a rising voice challenging her rule. He claims she was never meant for the job, and calls for liberation and rebellion. Tina counters that his message should carry little weight as his father, Adrian Tombs, is a known criminal rumored to control much of the city’s criminal underworld. Though Zander seems to be in possession of a mostly functional spaceship. This massive craft looms over the city skyline. Even the Sleepers have begun to notice the strange ship in the sky or shuttles coming from it, sweeping into the city. This campaign focuses on mystery and character drama. Players will investigate conspiracies and decide how their characters fit into the growing conflict. This game is ideal for players who enjoy roleplay-heavy storytelling.

Cue the intro Hello! We’re a group of three (2 players, 1 DM) looking for 2-3 additional players. We would start by running a handful of one-shots to workout the chemistry and dynamics and then move into a full campaign. Preferably we would like people 25+ years of age but we welcome newbies, veterans, and players in between! This would be played with the 5th edition system but open to group consensus on playing 2014 or 2024 rules. It would be a weekly game (Fridays, but relatively flexible) that would last 3-4 hours. For more information please see the doc below and the form linked within: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1F_j2tNVPS_a-UO1zXMWyXP7RrBjQEc2Tf7OGJt1qAx0/edit?usp=sharing

Looking for players for a WOD + D&D campaign Chronicle name: Forgotten Realms By Night - Dungeon of the Mad Mage Base system: WOD 20th Anniversary Edition Any homebrew?: Yes, plenty Language: English Time: Sunday 4 PM GMT-3 (Brazil) Where: Discord VC private server Requirements: +18, respectful, inclusive How to get in: DM me on Discord (DamianBRGM) Concept: I've been writing a homebrew for months to bridge World of Darkness with DND. It's 90% finished and I wish to put it into practice before my Exandria homebrew campaign. That is to say this is a "test campaign" which is why I'm using the Dungeon of the Mad Mage module, but I'll be taking this as seriously as any campaign. The setting is Forgotten Realms but there will be some alterations, specially as it relates to the "Otherworlds" of the setting and some of the implications that entails. Please do not apply if you've either already played the Dungeon of the Mad Mage module, or if you don't have any experience with World of Darkness and Dungeons and Dragons, since this is a "crunchy" and simulationist campaign. Please parse through this homebrew doc before DMing me, so you're sure you want in https://docs.google.com/document/d/1j6Wr69GcWMMm94-sq02LHn1M1nkTWqZ83Lk8Fzsh1AI/edit?tab=t.0

LOOKING FOR DM We are a group of 5 looking for a dm who is willing to run a game that contains high fantasy and can adapt with homebrewing (ie. players creating their character home lands, custom classes, races, etc). We prefer to play around 1pm - 6pm gmt ( 8am - 1pm est ), we also need someone who is lgbtqa+ friendly, is ok with a heavy swearing, and a dm who doesn't fall in love with their players. We each have characters and stories ranging from simple paragraph to page long backstories we would like to play, and a good chunk of us prefer problem solving and roleplaying focused games than combat ( 60/40 range). Our games tend to be general trigger warnings as the stories we like to follow are relatively darker in material, so keep that in mind. Some of us have talents that can assist the game, (ie. One of our players can draw maps, One of our players can draw, etc ) We do have 2 minors within the group, one being 16 (06/04/09) and 17 (08/01/08) Please feel free to send me a message if interested Discord: alarak05

In the Saxon shade of the Elbe River, they said the Angles would never be more than slaves. On the Islands of Sylt, they said the Angles would never cross the sea. In the Jute heartland of the northern peninsula, they said the Angles would be driven extinct by the Ice Age and swallowed by the rising sea level. In a thousand years, they will say nothing. Having spent centuries living and persevering on the infertile, swamp-like soil of what makes up the modern Holstein region, the Angles are worn-down survivors, exhausted by decades of fighting and driven to a point of near total demographic catastrophe, with their people perpetually being lost to deaths or slavery inflicted by to the combined onslaught of other Germanic tribes. Now, with the Migration Period in full swing, they wield the uneasy fate of forging the greatest destiny of all of the era’s Great Migrators. The wise move, the desperate move often, and the strong stay, fight, and prosper. But in time, the Angles will have been all three. But for now, it’s merely 470AD. And there is nothing but the village of Caistor-by-Norwich. A settlement of sunken huts, free from the fractured and unusable earth of the lands before, but without any people to tend to it. It is merely a respite from the famines of the homeland. But it is destined to be the world. (you can play Britons instead if you want, though)

Homebrew Homebrew
Combat focused Combat focused
"Destruction brought on by the return of the Cult of the Dragon in the mainland spurred explorers to voyage to unknown lands to seek safety, and so 20 years ago the untamed continent of Thindol was discovered, it being named after Sir Thindol, an Elven fisherman from Neverwinter. Dry and covered in deserts and savannas, settlements began to pop up across the barren coastline, the most notable being the city of Thindar, built around an obelisk made of black rock. For a time peace was the norm of the new world, that was until settlers began to encounter the native Yuan-Ti of the continent. At first, peace was attempted, but after several failed attempts of brokering peace, war erupted between the Yuan-Ti and the settlers. War has wrought blood across the new world, and there seems to be no sign of it stopping any time soon, with the emperor of the Yuan-Ti, Aten, refusing any stop to the war. Desperate to stop the war and quickly running out of manpower, the capital city of Thindar has sent out the call for aid, its mayor, Ryder Lionmane, personally travelling to the city of Waterdeep to recruit adventurers willing to travel to the new world. You were lucky, or unlucky, enough to be recruited by Ryder, and his goal for you is simple: travel to the city of Thindar and help its inhabitants stop the Yuan-Ti from exterminating them. Time is running out, and within the shadows, forces greater than the Yuan-Ti stir, for the people of Thindar are unaware of the history of this forgotten continent and the evil hidden within it". With the hook out there, hi! My name is Hayden, and I am attempting to run a long-running campaign for 4-5 players. My campaigns are very linear, but I will always encourage my players to find their own solutions to everything. My games are also very heavy in both roleplay and combat, with the story blending together with your own personal character backgrounds. The campaign's story is homebrew, but the monsters and mechanics you encounter are fully based on the 2024 rules of D&D. I will explain further rules and questions in dms, but these are some important notes: This is a friendly table to those belonging to LGBTQ+ This will be hosted weakly on Tuesdays I am more than welcome to DM for new players, as I have introduced several people to DND in the past. For a brief idea on what to expect, you and your fellow party members have just entered the continent of Thindol via boat, and are now travelling through the desert in a caravan. Your goal is to initially reach the city of Thindar, which is considered the capital of the colonies within Thindol. This campaign will heavily feature the Yuan-Ti, Aberrations, planar travelling, and the unnatural Far Realm. Should any of this sound interesting to you, please DM me either on Reddit or via my discord. I hope to get to know you, and please ask any question you have. Discord Username: khsovoso Cheers! - Hayden

Hello, We are a group of ttrpg players looking for one or two people to join (one of our members died, one had to step away for work). We are currently running a pathfinder, lancer, and mutants and mastermind game, we are writing a shorter vampire 20th campaign to test roleplay compatibility. Our group mainly focuses on rp, and has a mix of veteran players/dms and some that are newer. We play every Saturday, though we have a number of games that we swap between, and when life comes up we at times just hang out and play video games (we have members in eastern and central time, and play from around 4ish to 9ish Eastern with a food break around 6 that goes for 45-60 minutes). Our group is lgbtqia+ friendly. We use discord, as well as roll20 and other virtual tts at times and our age range is 24-36 currently. If interested please reach out to me on discord at .revachol, or the dm for the vampire game mongoosebaron.
