Hello, there! My name is Rampy (AG; any pronouns) and I'm looking to take part in a long-form campaign. Preferably on a weekly basis, but as long as we have consistent, sizable sessions, bi-weekly is fine. I have ample experience with the D&D 5e system (2014, not so much 2024) and enjoy all aspects of the game. I am new to roleplaying, but eager to grow in that area. I like to think I have a diverse playstyle, capable of filling gaps in parties in needed, but I tend to lean toward martial classes and the "jerk with a heart of gold" archetype.
While I prefer D&D 5e (mostly due to familiarity), I am flexible in terms of what systems. I've also played Deathwatch, Mutants and Masterminds, Pathfinder 2e, Rogue Trader, Shadowrun. Additionally, I'm willing to try new systems or the numerous D&D 5e homebrews such as Final Fantasy XIV, Monster Hunter, Pokemon, Star Wars, etc.
In the lengthy gaps between campaigns, I've spent an inordinate amount of time homebrewing and creating characters. I tend to like sprinkling a little (or sometimes a lot) of homebrew in my characters, as I feel it helps them feel more personal. This is not a requirement for me to enjoy the game, but such allowances (with DM approval, of course) are greatly appreciated.
My only limitations in terms of player conduct and game content are the usual things: No bigotry, communicate when you have problems, keep in-game conflict in-game, and be tasteful when describing horrible or otherwise NSFW things.
