Howdy! My name is Tam/Ash (31M) and Forever DM, but this time I'm looking to hop back into the role of a Player... specifically to channel a bit of Daggerheart as it holds my key interest at the moment :) I've been playing TTRPGs since I was a teenager started off with 4E and moved onto Pathfinder and eventually back around to D&D as mostly a DM for the next couple years. I really enjoy writing, art, and monologuing on long drives to the grocery store at night just to retain my roleplaying edge. Homebrew is fantastic, I mostly look for that specifically in games as I wanted to join a world that is unique to the DM and learn about all their machinations.

Hello adventurers! We are currently over 30 members on a discord server that started as a newbie friendly tutorial group. The server is beginner-friendly, but we also welcome more experienced players. We focus on learning the basics, improving roleplay, and most importantly, creating a relaxed and enjoyable environment. I’m currently on GMT+2, and my sessions usually run in the evenings, around 19:00–20:00 until 23:00-00:00 local time. But there are other people on different time zones to play with! After having a baby in 2019 I just couldn't find the time to run my games online anymore. In real life all I've done is wargaming for the past 6 years. Meanwhile the online scene has changed dramatically thanks to quarantines reshaping the way we live our lives. Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. I have a decent amount of experience with ttrpgs in general, mainly D&D, but none with the two I'm looking for; Vampire The Masquerade and Lancer (which I recognize have very different vibes XD). For Vtm, I have some rulebooks for V5 and would say I'm decently familiar with it. I've played around with creating a few characters, and have read the books quite throughly, so I don't think I'd need too much help. I just may ask a few questions here and there. For Lancer, well, I have the rulebook. I've started to read it, but I haven't gotten that far. Joining a game would definitely encourage me to read more though, and I'd probably be able to finish it before the first session (I'm a pretty fast reader). Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

I have over 30 years of experience across a variety of systems, though I still consider myself “intermediate” in many of them since there is always more to learn. I tend to enjoy unusual or unconventional character concepts, especially those exploring how others react to characters who might be misunderstood. I’m often drawn to support-oriented roles such as healers, buffers, or facilitators, and I’ve been told I think outside the box and bring creative approaches to problem-solving. I enjoy sandbox or open-world campaigns, but I’m just as happy playing through published adventures. Heya, all! I know this is a bit of a longshot, but I have a FIERCE hankering for some World of Darkness of just about any flavor. New, Old, Chronicles of, it's a big wide World of Darkness and I'm looking to play any game in any edition/rendition of the setting. I have twenty years of off-and-on TTRPG and roleplay experience and have played two games across two different versions of Vampire (technically three, but one never left the "design characters" stage). "Hello there!" I don't use my char sheet only as a stat block. I build a personality and live it. If I play a bard paladin, that thing sings SABATON. Martials can engage with the environment via bonking and bonking bonking alone. That is why I'm a wizard. Power builds are for noobs, I'm here to have fun. I have a spellbook for different applications of shape water, mold earth, prestidigitation. When I play, I remove rooftiles to sneak in between them. Opponents on grease got pushed under tables and chairs. When they try to stand up breakdancing starts. I nerd out and encourage everyone to do the same. As a DM you get to fight on rooftops, underwater, runaway carriages chased by cavalry in the middle of the city. Everyone would get a tavern brawl so chairs and tables will fly! There is allways verticality. Can allways jump down from 2nd floor to the first to get away, my maps are just built like that. The NPC I make... I love to mess them up mid session. They aren't just there for your interactions. They live, breathe. Sith is allways around. Everything is messy, everything is chaotic. If you can do it, the NPC can do it - just not unfairly.

Hello! I'm Amanda, I've played d&d 5e for a couple of years - one as a wizard and one as a druid. Looking for 18+ (21+ even better), lgbtq+ friendly groups. I'm in the EST timezone. Friday evenings and Sundays are my best times, possibly Monday, Thursday, or Saturday evenings. Casual player here hoping to have fun and maybe make some friends along the way. I love spellcasters and really want to play either a wizard or sorcerer as my next character. Class and race ultimately would be determined based on campaign and version of D&D. I'm looking for a good mix of roleplay/exploration/combat; I really enjoy the rp aspect and having a fun storyline to follow as well as the flow of combat. Being able to roll my physical dice is a must, there's something really satisfying about it. I can promise I'm not looking to dice cheat or anything. I started out with an in person group and due to that I get a lot of satisfaction from actually rolling my own dice vs clicking a button. I also collect dice that match each character - my first character had a few sets of purple-themed dice, my next character had dice themed around her being a circle of wildfire druid (plant dice, fire dice, and green dice). I plan on that continuing with my next character. I'm really wanting to play in the standard d&d high fantasy setting (nothing space, mech, etc). Homebrew campaigns only, I'm not wanting to play one of the premade campaigns like Descent into Avernus. I do also have a character idea! I'm not set on playing her, and the idea is setting and starting-level dependent. But basically: A character who starts off down the path of a paladin or cleric, but realizes magic is her calling instead. The reason she started as a paladin or cleric would be worked into the setting, but originally the idea was that she was a cultist who fully believed in that cult. Until she became disillusioned and saw through for what was really going on. After fleeing the cult (did she help take it down?), she wanted to atone and become a paladin or cleric to fight those in power in cults throughout the land - and then found magic was her calling in that fight instead. Functionally, starting with a level in paladin or cleric then multiclassing into wizard or sorcerer.
