Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters fun for the other players as well as the GM. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. I'm not adverse to long sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. Themes: I'm less interested in horror, more interested in high fantasy settings. Experience: I haven't played much for two or three years, so I'll need a bit of help getting back up to speed. I know nothing about 5e 2024 rule changes. I'm generally a quick study and willing to learn anything new. I'd prefer a DnD 5e 2014 game, but would be willing to learn 2024 and I do have some experience with PF2e. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. My schedule is fairly open, so I'm easy to accommodate. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't have a web cam. Hello there! I am a vetern M20+ player with some experience in pathfinder 1e. and I am looking for more pathfinder games to join. In terms of overral pathfinder experience, I played in one normal pathfinder game, one game using mythical power, and one using pathfinder spheres of power. So I can play any game of pathfinder using those, I am mostly interrest in using spheres of power, but its not mandatory; I can play without it. For time: my timezone is gmt-3 and the days I can play are friday(at night) saturday sunday I can use both roll20 and foundry, however I have yet to play pathfinder 1e using foundry, my pathfinder games were on roll20 thanks for reading.

Hi there! I'm Frau Elster, 34, located in Hanover, Germany. I have been playing TTRPGs for roughly a year now. It became quite a hyperfixation and thanks to a local open club I've gotten the chance to test some systems and get an idea of what I enjoy in this game. At the moment I really enjoy Daggerheart but I am open to other systems. Ideally, of course, the group vibes and gets along. That's a wish of mine but of course can't be forced. I tend to enjoy smaller groups up to 4, sometimes 5, on a bi-weekly schedule in the evening. I love creating complex characters with a few defining moments already having happened to them to help flesh them out. It didn't happen yet but I'd love to experience what it's like to have a ongoing campaign that weaves in the characters' backgrounds. Usually I have a concept in mind before I create a character and then read through _a lot_ of materials and sources to find the build and world-related backgrounds that fit. For example: My last character (for dagger heart) was a werewolf ranger who became a guerrila fighter because she feels like a advocat on agency and freedom of choice. For DnD, I am in the midst of creating a tabaxi stardruid whose base idea was that she looks like a black jaguar and has the constellations map right there in the spots of her fur. Or I knew I wanted a gnome raised by ice giants who draws her magic from the aurora and can hit really hard and now I have several tabs open haha I enjoy good atmospheric horror and am actually thinking about hosting The Magnus Archive TTRPG. But that's a project for the future. Coming from a theatre background I love roleplay and the chaotic rule of cool being applied more than dungeon crawling, rule crunching and min/max-ing. Social encounters and exploration are big to me. Do you know that one friend who needs to check every question mark in a video game? Yeah that's me (and is also a reason why I love Breath of the Wild. Exploring was very much rewarded in this game.) As a GM I love putting in puzzles but that is always a hit or miss with me as a player. In general I would say I am a bit of a chaotic player who enjoys discussing concepts, impulsive decision making and creative brainstorming with the others. It would be important to me that the players share the spotlight and know how to communicate constructively and mindfully.

iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play or a öove gameplay deal over roll 20 or similar sites. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, often choosing to play the right track at the right second for the right scene. That said, I enjoy the acting and teamwork part of playing, so I'd like to do that as well from time to time. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. Hello, there! I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information (keeping notes) and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come in with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

I'm Bi and Trans, just to get that out up front. I consider myself an immersion-first kind of player, I like to make my decisions in character with the same thought process my characters would if possible. Not to say that I'm not "above" superceding my characters' "own" decision if needed, but that's how I like to play when convenient. Hey, I’m getting back into TTRPGs after not playing since I was a teenager, so I’m definitely rusty but excited to relearn and get into it again. Im 28 years old, looking to play in a saturday game. I’m open to pretty much any system. I’m mainly just trying to learn, get comfortable, and have a good time with it. I’m looking for a chill, respectful group. No hateful stuff or weird vibes, just people who want to hang out and enjoy the game. I like a balance between roleplay and gameplay. I’ll get into character, but I’m not trying to go super hardcore with it. I lean more toward rule of cool than strict rules as long as things stay fair and fun. Let's go on an adventure together! I am looking for a cooperative, consent-based, story-focused TTRPG table with about 50% roleplay, 30% combat, and 20% exploration. I enjoy character-driven storytelling, party relationships, meaningful combat, exploration, mystery, downtime, and emotional moments that feel earned rather than forced. I like games that are sincere without being too serious, and funny without becoming constant jokes or bits. Consent and boundaries are important to me. Heavy themes, major trauma themes, intense character conflict, PvP, romance/flirting, sexual content, or anything that could strongly affect another player’s character should be discussed first. Lines and veils should be respected. I fit best with people who want to tell an awesome story together, share spotlight, cooperate, listen to each other, and make sure everyone’s character matters. I have been interested in and reading up on D&D (specifically 5E and 5.5E) for about two-and-a-half years now, but have never been able to play an actual game with a group, so I am a beginner. But, I am also a fast-learner who can pick up on your playing style (and homebrew rules/mechanics, if you're using any) quickly. I can play in both online campaigns and at IRL tables (I am located in the southern Bay Area, CA, near Gilroy). My schedule, both online and in-person, is extremely flexible, and I am willing to play during odd hours when playing in online campaigns (for example, early morning or the middle of the night), and I am totally down with online international games with players/DMs/GMs located in different countries/continents. I can use and adapt to whatever platform the DM/GM prefers to use to host games. I love detailed note-taking and would love to take on that responsibility at your table. My favorite main class to play is Paladin (I have a male, Lawful-Good archetype, Oath of Devotion Paladin who I have been dying to roleplay as in a game, but I also have a few other characters/character ideas and am totally willing to change his lore/character for the theme of your campaign or create a whole new one for it). I am both roleplay and combat oriented and will be entirely happy focusing more on the worldbuilding/RP or grinding with your table in more dungeon-crawler-like gameplay. Hiya, I go by Fenris or Fen and am a TTRPG veteran of roundabout 26 years, having started in my early teens and been the forever GM for a number of years, before moving on to become a player. I recently finished a PF2E campaign with an international group and am looking forward to move on to new horizons more set in a bright and exciting future. I am flexible regarding the day, being available for evening session from 18:00 to 18:30 my time onwards during Mondays to Fridays and basically fully flexible when it comes to the weekends. Also let me be very frank because I keep getting messages about this: I AM NOT INTERESTED IN D&D! Playstyle I am a person who both enjoys engaging roleplaying, interactions between the characters and with the world at large. To me a good game has a healthy mix of both and ideally also mixes them. So I want to roll the dice when appropriate, but I'm a bit tired of hearing 'I roll to attack' and a simple 'you hit'. Why not make it 'I bring my sword to bear against the owlbear, parry it's right claw swiping for me while side-stepping and try to cut it across it's leg in retaliation'? This gives the GM much more to play without without having to wrack their brain how to make it an exciting moment for everyone. Same goes for RP: You can try to hide the need to roll something to see, whether you succeed or not, by describing it creatively. I could say 'I want to roll Diplomacy to convince the lizardman warrior, that we come in peace' or I could say 'Putting on an open, peaceful body language, showing he is not armed, <character name> speaks clearly and softly in a diplomatic tone "We mean no harm. Just want to talk."' To me RP and rules are not two separate sides of a medallion - they can work beautifully hand in hand to weave a story within a fair ruleset, that gives everyone equal chances. Hence I also play the character idea and role within the party. I don't min-max, I work to represent the character idea both in RP and in the build. What's the character idea of a stoic and stalwart defender worth, if it isn't backed up by a build optimized towards taking the brunt of the enemies attacks? How can I play a hot-shot pilot, if his confident and assured stance isn't backed up by great skill with piloting and tendancy towards pulling stunts and a few aces up his sleeves? Experience I've started out with one of the more complex games to play 26 years ago: Shadowrun. Very crunchy, figuring out rolls was an effort and more often than not forgoing too complex rules for the rule of cool. From there I moved on to a myriad of systems - both mainstream and not. To name a few: Legend of the Five Rings, King Arthur Pendragon, D&D 5E (2014), Stafinder 1E, Stars Without Number, Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40K FFG (Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader and Only War), Star Wars Edge of the Empire, The Dark Eye (DSA), A Song of Ice and Fire RPG, Pathfinder 2E and a quick dip into Fallout 2d20, as well as maybe some I can't even remember from the get-go right now. I've been on both sides of the table in those years, being both a GM and a player on- and offline. I only recently decided to try voice games as I've been playing through live text usually. Critical Role is what got me into dnd and rpg stuff but I've been loving Bards of New York lately, and when I say lately it's been over a year of constantly watching their stuff. Other than that I love Witcher, Dragon Age, Skyrim obviously, fantasy is my main genre I think, though I like watching sci fi movies and shows. Bioshock Infinite is another game I love, and I love horror media, just not a fan of slashers and very gore focused things, which is why Mike Flanagan's stuff is my favorite but also I say that and yet zombie media is also something I enjoy so lmao. I usually prefer RP over combat but I figured combat can be very useful to test your creativity and problem solving as well, just not looking to solely be focused on that. I'm in the gmt+2 timezone, usually prefer evening games in my time and currently Saturday evenings are occupied by me DM-ing. I would also like to add that I have a pretty old laptop and I'm pretty sure most if not all VTTs just don't work on it, if that's a must for games. So if you are a DM that wants a player who will pick up on subplots and details, I am for you! I do have experience with D&D Beyond as well as Owlbear. Reservation: I don't have any major phobias that need to be avoided but I won't do SA of a character. I am understanding of it being part of a backstory or world (off-screen) or if it has been discussed/agreed on between victim's player and DM yet even then only off-screen/stage. Absolutely no RP of SA. I am okay with darker themes, but I don't want to be in campaigns with fantasy racism or "women and AFAB people can't be fighters" stuff where the DM uses it as an excuse for their sexism. If it's part of the world, fine, but don't be obnoxious about it and make playing anything other than a male character miserable. TLDR Older reliable queer player looking for campaign during the week after 5pm or weekends after 6pm EST. Dm for Discord handle.
