Players looking for a group

Hey! I'm Ash, a nonbinary adult from California who's a big fan of things like Percy Jackson, Warhammer 40K, Star Wars/Star Trek, Hazbin Hotel, Murder Drones (and other GLITCH shows), and Wings of Fire. I like to play more casual, laid-back games - as in, not insanely serious, where a more silly character doesn't stand out too much. For example, a Southern tiefling bard whose favorite instrument is the fiddle, or a combo warlock-cleric, or even a warforged cleric of the forge. That being said, I am perfectly willing and able to create more serious characters if the setting leans that way. What I'm trying to say is, I'm pretty flexible in my character-making. I tend to play characters with well-thought-out backstories, and usually add in a quirk or two that sets them apart - along with a bit of myself, of course. I enjoy good roleplay, although I may have trouble with it myself, and I love a good combat. A lot of my past characters have been more combat-oriented, but even so, I still try to create interesting backstories and social interactions with them. I've been playing D&D for at least four or five years now, since before 5.5e, and I'm much more familiar with 5e than 5.5e. Also, I thoroughly enjoy helping to teach or actually teaching new people how to play. I'm almost always available to play on weekends between 10AM PST and 5PM PST, and would much prefer online games over in-person for this kind of thing.

Hi, I'm fairly new to actually playing DnD. I've watched a couple actual plays but I don't expect it to be like those. I'm a 25 year old guy, and am looking for a game for a beginner. I haven't actually played since high school, but I've been studying and learning the rules. I'm available Sunday evenings after 5pm and on Mondays all day, and I'm in CST.

Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much for for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore. I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes: I'm less interested in modern settings or horror, more interested in traditional high fantasy. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. I'm available any day except Thursday. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't use a web cam. Objective: I'm looking forward to meeting new people, making new online friends and either joining a fresh campaign or fitting in to one already in progress. If we're a good fit, I'll stick around for multiple campaigns. I'm in this for the long haul. Hope to see you online!
