Hey, Saga here (they/them). I have been GMing 5e for the last 8 years. Now that we concluded our campaign I am looking for a group. I can GM but would greatly prefer to be a player for a bit. Fluent english speaker, and Swedish as a second language. Currently in central european time (GMT+2).

Vancouver, BC based forever GM Marty here - I run two weekly GURPS games in a homebrewed 1920s Cthulhu-esque Horror world, so if any Vancouverites are looking for in-person play and can consistently be available weekday evenings I may have a seat at the table for you. Having just retired though, I'm looking to add more gaming goodness to my life - maybe even get to actually play rather than GM! So I'm open to both local in-person and alternate timezone Online groups that equate to mornings/afternoons in PST - e.g. GMT 4pm-midnight-ish. I've been playing since Red Box days, but I found myself just not loving the core concept of D&D in any of its editions - Munchkin scratches any rare itch to kill things and take their stuff! Actual ROLE-playing rather than ROLL-playing is what makes is fun for me - conflict yes, but not necessarily much violence. Investigative games with lots of in-character social skill use are my jam - I've been playing Call of Cthulhu since the 80s, more recently Brindlewood Bay was an absolute joy to discover, and I'm trying out other PbtA games in hopes of finding a similar sort of vibe. On the more traditional Fantasy side of things, I like The One Ring - the Mirkwood campaign especially - mostly because of the 'off camera' between-adventure parts where your PCs really feel part of a community, and Earthdawn (the whole Kaer/Horrors angle gives a strong in-game rationale for dungeon crawls, and ED was doing 'orcs and trolls are just people' literally decades before the Critical Role crew brought that angle into mainstream D&D circles). In general I run Adult but not Smutty games - if they were movies they'd be mostly PG rated, with the odd 15-18 scene: scary, angsty stuff happens, if there's violence I describe it viscerally, cursing is pretty common, but the curtain gets drawn as soon as things get more romantic than would be acceptable in a public place. I have no problem dialling back the limits all the way to G-rated levels though - I've run games of Toon for elementary schoolkids and several 'cosy mystery' style games where the only saucy things that happen involve a stovetop ;-)

Hello I'm newer to ttrpgs and I would like some experience with D&D preferably 5E but I'm not picky.

I’m heavily roleplay-focused, but I also enjoy tactical combat when it serves the story. I prefer games where combat has stakes and meaning rather than existing purely as filler. Whether it’s noir investigations in a mythic city, desperate survival against cosmic horror, or political maneuvering between supernatural powers, I try to create games that feel immersive and emotionally engaging. At the table, I value communication, reliability, and collaboration. I run Session 0s, discuss boundaries and expectations openly, and use safety tools to make sure everyone can enjoy mature themes comfortably. My goal is always to create a welcoming environment where players can invest deeply in their characters without worrying about being talked over or sidelined. Logistics-wise, I primarily run online games through Roll20 and Discord, typically in EST evenings. I’m comfortable teaching new players and enjoy helping people learn systems, though I also love having experienced roleplayers who enjoy diving into character and setting lore. If you enjoy strong atmosphere, memorable characters, worldbuilding, and games where your choices actually matter, you’ll probably fit in well at my table.

Hello! My husband and I are both 23 and looking for a dnd group to join virtually (anywhere) or in-person in the Bellevue/Pittsburgh area! We have been playing dnd for about 2 years now with experience in both engaging roleplay and strategic combat. Hello all, I am an experienced GM that have been running and playing many types of ttrpgs since the early 80's. I have been running games online for sometime now and am comfortable using several VTTs as well as Discord. I prefer to GM over being a player and have ran a variety of ttrpg systems on- and off- line. When it comes to gaiming, I can be relied on to make the schedule regularly, barring health and some holidays. While I love all sorts of gaming styles, my preferred gaming includes a mix of strong roleplaying and combat. I really enjoy getting into character and experiencing others do the same. I live in the Pacific Time Zone and usually am avaliable during the week for gaming at 4pm or later, Sundays is special as I have a more open schedule from 8 am to midnight. My current preferred games are Marvel Multiverse, 2d20 Infinity, and Warhammer 4th ed (in-order of perference). I might be willing to run other games as well, but the above take priority.

Hey I'm Zaron a 30m who has played D&D a bit in the past but nothing too substantial sadly and want to get back to it. Currently with my work schedule I can only guarantee availability on sundays at the moment. I'm US EST (GMT-5) and available pretty much anytime from about 7am to 11pm my time. I love dming and also being a player and I'm open to either. I also really love the idea of alternating either every other week, maybe once a month doing the other, etc as I did this when I first tried D&D and loved it. I like a mix of rp and combat ideally around a 60/40 split. I would like to have a setting that can be serious and have some amazing stories but also have some fun lighthearted times mixed in too. I do have a couple characters planned based on the setting of the campaign and the rest of the group and as far as being a DM I have some rough ideas I've been working on but would flesh out more to fit the characters and players. I'd prefer 5e as that's what I'm familiar with although could be open to other systems. The main thing I'm hoping for is ultimately people that can be fun to hang out with and have a good time, but can also be adults about making sure to be on time or communicate ahead of time if stuff comes up as my last group was often very unreliable in this department. Obviously things come up and sometimes it's last minute so I get that, but it shouldn't be an all the time thing. Hi I'm VM, started playing D&D5e a few years ago and then started DMing (mostly). Last campaign DMed was a modern take on Fantasy with the party going from 1-12 level. My playstyle is balanced as I enjoy both roleplaying and combats, as a DM I ran a few modules (sprinkled with some hombrew to tie PC backstories or backgrounds) but open to Homebrew as long as it's fun for everyone. -Schedulewise, because of work most likely the frequency would be weekly (would get my schedule a week before), but would like to go long-term with a steady party. -Just as heads up, first language its not english so I can try to incorporate my accent into the game

Hi there, my name's Bennet, he/him, 34, from Germany. To filter out people I won't get along with anyway: Love is love and borders are violence. ...are they gone? Okay, cool. So far I have DMed the first act of a homebrew campaign, but played as a player only a few times. I know the rules well enough to know what my characters can do, but not well enough to rules lawyer anybody. (Sidenote: I don't like emoji, just imagine I put one here. Maybe the winking one) I definitely prioritize the flow of the story over following the exact mechanics. That being said, if the DM says that managing rations is an important part of the experience, I will happily trust their judgement. Ludonarrative is one hell of a drug. From my limited experience as a player, I don't tend to take the lead often, but will absolutely be in the background losing 10 of my 13 HP accidentally sacrificing half my blood to an ancient Skull Gate while the party theorizes about the meaning of its inscription. I'm fine with a wide range of tones for a campaign, so long as it doesn't turn into the TTRPG equivalent of a snuff film. I am also a casual Science Fantasy enjoyer (Beyond Good & Evil 2 will eventually release), so I wouldn't mind playing something that leans in that direction. Oh, and I really like flying ships. They are my trains. I occasionally dabble in board game/TTRPG design, too, which may become relevant at some point. Chekhov's Gun, baby! Since I'm a freelancer, I am fairly flexible when it comes to availability. Sundays don't usually work for me, though, I don't want to keep my in-person players hanging, after all.

Hi everyone! I’m Mogousse (she/them), 22, based in France. I’m looking for a D&D 5e or TTRPG group to join! While I’m familiar with the rules and the theory of the game, I’m still relatively new to the actual table experience. I’ve tried DMing one-shots for friends, but none of them either liked or invested themselves into playing D&D. I consider myself a roleplay-heavy focus player: As a writer, I live for complex, flawed characters and morally grey situations. I love stories where choices have real weight and tension. But – even if I didn't play a lot of combat – I view combat as an extension of the story that can be character-driven moments or character expression. I would be the kind of person to try to do combos with my teammates or attempt a risky backflip for the sake of the scene (even if I fail the check!). I like to make them cinematic and more realistic too. I love building deep connections with other player characters and working with the GM to weave my character's growth into the larger narrative. Hi I live in Gran kommune, one hour north of Oslo in Norway. I have been playing and GMing since the 1980s. I believe that i am a suportive player. I some times struggle with atttention, so I prefere shorter sessions, especially online. My GM style is balanced, but with a tendencie for "Action bias". I am not strong on "tactical combat" and optimal character-builds, and prefere creativity, rulings over rules and theater of the mind. (Even thogh I own four 3d printers and to much terrain and miniatures :) ) I prefere to run scenarioes and campeigns with some investigation, exploration and mystery over classic dungeon crawls.

I'm an experienced player and GM with over 20 years experience with all manner of TTRPGs -- everything from D&D to Cyberpunk, Savage Worlds, Star Wars, and others. My favorite game is the Amber Diceless RPG. My favorite part of the game is the roleplaying, though I do love a good combat. I GM a lot more than I play. As a GM I’m firmly in the Simulationist camp, though I don’t take it to extremes. I want the settings of my games to feel real so that the player can be immersed in the world and in their characters. I also firmly believe in 100% player agency and will never presume to tell a player what their character should do, think, feel, or believe. My goal is to create scenarios that challenge both the character and their player so that they can feel a real sense of accomplishment when they succeed.

My name is Tim, and I'm looking to try out Pathfinder 2e and Starfinder 2e. I'm a fairly experienced player of D&D 5/5.5e, and still enjoy those systems. I absolutely love love playing caster characters and will usually play one. I prefer roleplay-focused games, especially one witha strong narrative and exploration. I like combat, too. Just not as much. For PF2e/SF2e, I have fully read the rule books and want to get a feel for the system. For D&D5/5.5e I am already comfortable, and have DM'd a little. I am open Friday evenings, and all day on Sunday. Bi-Weekly schedules are preferred, but will accept weekly or montly schedules. Short of sickness or emergencies, i will always be able to show up for sessions. I will not play at tables that exclude people based on sex, gender, sexual orientation, or race.

Though I prefer to GM, I also enjoy short campaigns (4 to 8 sessions) as a player. I enjoy one-shots, play tests, and demos. I prefer roleplay opportunities and cinematic combat (not a big fan of tactical battles). I'm a fan of Sci-fi and Fantasy, generally... everything from Fahrenheit 451 and Lord of the Rings to The Wheel of Time and Bladerunner.

UTC -4 timezone, work every 4th weekend. - Enjoy Homebrew settings/items, 50/50 on Homebrew everything else. - Story-driven DM who tries to run strategic combat (thank you, The Monsters Know What They're Doing, that book upped my game so much) - Rule of Cool follower; RAW until what you want to do sounds so incredible I (as the DM) just cannot say no - Role-focused player; I roleplay my chosen character vigorously, with in- and -out of character commentary. I try to do voices and even posture/gestures, where possible. I have always played in person, and as (what feels like being) a forever DM I would really love to dip my toes back into playing as an actual PC for once, instead of every NPC and animal my players come across. There are only so many times you can voice a cat called Thunderbeast 9000 or a horse named Neighlor Swift before you feel your soul depart your body.

Hi, I'm an adult in San Diego, CA looking to find like minded folks to play table top games with. I'm not locked into a system - people, vibes, and having a good time mean more to me than mechanics. Open to in-person or online gaming. I have kids, so working around family schedule is a consideration. Generally, I lean to more narrative gaming than combat oriented. A combat map + hours to resolve combat is a turn off to me. I've played a long 5e campain in the past (over a year with weekly online / Discord meetups), but i am not so interested in most 5e anymore. I've run some short Mothership 0e and Mork Borg campaigns as well as a number of one shots in other systems.

Greetings adventurers! I'm Dan, I'm a ttrpg player and game master looking for more opportunities to enjoy stories with good folks! My main focus in any game (as either gm or player) is the collaborative storytelling experience. It's the single most important part of the experience to me. To that end, I find that the details of that experience changes depending on the system that is being used. If combat is a core part of that system (like in dnd) I expect there to be some combat. Right now I am most interested in heroic fantasy stories and gravitate towards games and systems in that genre (Daggerheart, DnD, PF2E, etc) but I am open minded and in general interested in branching out to new systems. As a father of 3 and a husband, my hard lines are no sexual violence and no violence to children. I am also not interested in my character being involved in romance with either pcs or npcs. I look forward to sharing many adventures and making new friends!

Hi, I'm 21 years old and have been playing TTRPGs (mostly D&D 5e though I'd ideally like to switch to Draw Steel) on and off for nearly 10 years now. I've mostly been a GM during that time (it's the role I prefer, not a permaDM), and I have my own fantasy setting not so subtly inspired by Middle-Earth and Norse Mythology (which broadly reflects my left-wing political beliefs - conservatives might not want to consider me). I've never found a group just online like this before, and because I've only ever found D&D that fun when playing with close friends I must admit I'm a bit nervous and not sure what to expect. But with my last group life events got in the way and people's priorities changed so I'm looking to try something new. I'm at university so generally my schedule is pretty flexible.

I’m Tubocass (tu-bach-us), with ~10 years of TTRPG experience as both a player and occasional GM. I got into the hobby through actual play shows like Acquisitions Inc., Pretending to be People, and The Glass Cannon, and I tend to engage more with systems and play at the table than with fantasy fiction. My playstyle leans more tactical and build-focused, but I value social encounters when they have clear stakes or purpose. I enjoy having a back and forth discussion about how the game works, while ultimately deferring to the GM’s rulings. I’m particularly invested in Pathfinder and the Golarion setting. I like to think of how my characters are tied to their ancestry, class, culture, religion, etc. I’m also interested in running homebrew campaigns that use Golarion as a base while incorporating real-world historical influences. I definitely used AI to help write this and use AI for my character art.
