Hey there!👋 I'm Thea (she/her), 37, UK-based, and I've been playing TTRPGs for 10+ years across a variety of systems. I'm primarily looking for a long-term, roleplay-focused campaign, ideally in D&D 5.5e, although I'm always happy to try something new if the game and group are a good fit. I've recently finished a three-year Fantasy Flight Star Wars campaign with an absolutely wonderful group of people, and I'm very much looking for the next table to get emotionally attached to. 🥲 How I Like to Play I'm very much a roleplay-first player. I love character-driven games where relationships actually matter and characters have the opportunity to grow, change, make mistakes and occasionally make spectacularly questionable decisions. My ideal game has a healthy mix of: 🎭 Heavy roleplay ❤️ Character development & relationships 📖 Collaborative storytelling ⚔️ Cinematic combat 🗺️ Exploring the world and its lore 🏰 Political & social intrigue 😂 Silly moments alongside serious ones ✨ Player choices that genuinely affect the story I particularly enjoy cinematic combat. I don't need every encounter to be mechanically complex, but I love those moments where everyone at the table can picture exactly what just happened. I'm less interested in crunch-heavy dungeon crawls where optimisation is the main focus. I don't mind some railroading when it serves the story, but I do want meaningful autonomy over my character and their decisions. 🧙 Character Concepts My favourite characters tend to be Warlocks, Half-Casters and Rogues, particularly because I enjoy having versatility and different ways to approach problems. I also really enjoy taking familiar fantasy tropes and twisting them sideways. I like characters with strong motivations, flaws, contradictions and relationships that can develop naturally throughout a campaign. That said, I'm very happy to create something specifically for the setting and party. I'm not precious about playing a particular class if there's something else that would make the group more interesting. High fantasy is probably my favourite setting, although I'm also very fond of traditional fantasy, steampunk and fantasy-adjacent settings. 🤝 What I Bring to a Table I'm an experienced player and have good table etiquette. More importantly, I'm a very engaged player. If you put plot in front of me, you gosh-damn know I'm going to bite that hook. I love getting invested in the world, the NPCs and — most importantly — the other player characters. One of my favourite things at a table is spotlighting other players. If I see an opportunity for another character to have their moment, I'll usually try to create space for it. I love watching people become comfortable enough to explore aspects of roleplay that they might not normally engage with. I'm also the sort of player who tends to build genuine friendships around a table. I'm invested in the people I'm playing with, not just the characters we're controlling. Basically, if we're playing together for long enough, there's a reasonably high chance I'll eventually ask whether you've eaten anything today and tell you to drink some water. 😂 🌈 The Table I'm Looking For I'm looking for an adult, friendly and inclusive table where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves. I'm particularly interested in LGBTQIA+ inclusive or LGBTQIA+-centred groups. I'm 37. I'm far too old and tired for table drama. That's not part of the campaign setting. I'm here to tell stories, make friends, laugh at terrible dice rolls and get emotionally destroyed by fictional characters. 🖤 Themes I'm Happy Exploring I'm comfortable with: Mature themes Romance Character death Darker settings and storylines Morally complicated characters Political/social intrigue Emotional character arcs 🚫 Things I'd Prefer to Avoid Adversarial PvP Loss of player autonomy Extremely over-the-top horror Anything excessively explicit/spicy I'm absolutely fine with mature themes and romance, but fade-to-black is my preferred approach for anything particularly spicy. 🎲 What I'm Looking For System: D&D 5.5e preferred, open to other systems Format: Online Campaign: Long-term preferred Frequency: Weekly preferred Session Length: 3–4 hours Group Size: 4–6 players preferred Timezone: UK / GMT / BST Availability Monday–Friday: 6pm–10pm UK time Saturday–Sunday: 9am–10pm UK time I'm fairly flexible within those windows and can potentially accommodate different schedules depending on the group. Ultimately, I'm looking for a group of people who want to tell a really good story together. I don't need every session to be epic. Sometimes I want to save the kingdom; sometimes I want to spend an hour in a tavern discovering that the party's Rogue has somehow acquired a chicken. If the characters have room to breathe, the players care about each other, the GM enjoys saying "Oh... that's interesting" when we make a terrible decision, and everyone is there to have a genuinely good time, I'm probably going to have a wonderful time too. ❤️

Hey! I'm Ash, a nonbinary adult from California who's a big fan of things like Percy Jackson, Warhammer 40K, Star Wars/Star Trek, Hazbin Hotel, Murder Drones (and other GLITCH shows), and Wings of Fire. I like to play more casual, laid-back games - as in, not insanely serious, where a more silly character doesn't stand out too much. For example, a Southern tiefling bard whose favorite instrument is the fiddle, or a combo warlock-cleric, or even a warforged cleric of the forge. That being said, I am perfectly willing and able to create more serious characters if the setting leans that way. What I'm trying to say is, I'm pretty flexible in my character-making. I tend to play characters with well-thought-out backstories, and usually add in a quirk or two that sets them apart - along with a bit of myself, of course. I enjoy good roleplay, although I may have trouble with it myself, and I love a good combat. A lot of my past characters have been more combat-oriented, but even so, I still try to create interesting backstories and social interactions with them. I've been playing D&D for at least four or five years now, since before 5.5e, and I'm much more familiar with 5e than 5.5e. Also, I thoroughly enjoy helping to teach or actually teaching new people how to play. I'm almost always available to play on weekends between 10AM PST and 5PM PST, and would much prefer online games over in-person for this kind of thing.

Hi I'm Em, uni student in New Zealand.  I have experience gming Ten candles, Lasers & Feelings and DND 5e.  I've played DND 5.5, Call of Cuthulu, Dread, DND 5e. I'm very much interested in VTM (I'd like to play before maybe Storytelling), the Kids on Bikes system, Monster of the week and anything one page or one session focused. I'm also interested in Masks a New Generation and I'd be willing to learn to GM for an enthusiastic group.  Some media influences I draw on are comics, wwe, fairy tales, and have a big soft spot for modern gothic tales such as What Moves the Dead by T Kingfisher. I've also enjoyed podcasts such as Welcome to Nightvale and something like Kids on Bikes or Monster of the Week might be cool with this vibe.  When it comes to actual play I've watched some dimension twenty campaigns, a tiny bit of critical role, little LBYN, a good chunk of Dungeons Drakkenheim, a little bit of WBN and the whole concept of Private Nightmares is fascinating to me. DMing requirements. If you're interested in having me dm some form of session zero is required (even just ten to fifteen minutes beforehand) and for dming online a simple safety system such as lines and veils is non-negotiable. I'll play in voice, text, camera on.  When it comes to my campaigns, no generative ai. Whether that's ai art, back stories, and please don't feed my narration into ai to try and get the optimal response, it's really lame and I won't want to DM for you. This is something I trust people on when I GM and I hope that trust is respected.   Horror is something I enjoy but it's definitely not a requirement and I won't bring it into a campaign unless it's been pre-established that everyone at the table are on board for it (please don't ask me to spring horror on the other players without a temperature check, it's really not cool). The systems listed on my post are all systems I have at least a passing familiarity with but I'm also super open to playing homebrewed and custom systems as well. Hello, there!  I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

I'm 30, queer, nb, and live in the EST. I'm a huge fan of IPs like Digimon, Monster Hunter, Final Fantasy, and FromSoft. I play Magic the Gathering on occasion, am usually available most weeknights for a chat, and have a cat named Persephone who occasionally attacks me while I'm at my computer. I try to be friendly, am often very funny, and am told I help create a warm and welcoming environment by the friends who are constantly sleeping on my couch (Though I suspect they just come here for my cat). If I were to say I had any social flaws I would say sometimes my jokes don't land and the kind of love I have to give is kind of tough on some people, even if it's froma good place. I am huge on all parts of DnD. I love Roleplay, Exploration, and Combat as long as everything is contributing to a narrative of some kind. The less of a narrative the less I am interested. The thing that gives me the most joy is creating interesting character concepts all the way from their backstory to their combat build, and then getting to see what other players are doing as well. I crave interaction between characters and campaigns that give plenty of room for characters to grow and evolve as people as they adventure together and learn more about each other. I don't have a specific type of character I always play because I always like exploring new concepts. However, if there were any similiarities between my characters is that I always write them with a character arc in mind. I like to craft a backstory that gives my character room to grow as a person, with plenty of loose threads for a DM or fellow player to pull on for the story they're telling. That and I also have a tendency to accidentally build spell-blades or intentionally build specialty casters.

Trying to get back into being a DnD player again. Currently run a DnD 5.5e  custom campaign for some friends and it has made me yearn to be a player again lol. Pretty laid back if there are any questions feel free to ask. Editions Im comfortable playing in order are 5E 5.5E and 3.5E. Also most of the time willing to play any class or multiclass that the party needs so always willing to work to work with what's best for the party and will not be a spotlight hog everyone needs to have there moments. In flexible with play days but it will mostly come down to when the start time is due to my work life so mostly weekdays would have to be after 5pm est and weekends is any time est Also not really looking for paid per session games money is tight plus the few times I did join those types it was not what I was looking for so no dnd and lost money

Hello, my name is Chris (he/him) I am 40 years old, and a "forever DM" for my gaming group, and would like to have a chance to be a player for more than just a one-shot every now and then, even if that means seeking out another group to do it.  I am mostly familiar with D&D 5E and 5.5E (have been DMing consistently since 2019). I am familiar with using online VTTs like Foundry and Roll20 (and using discord for audio only. Note I DO NOT have a webcam, so I would only be able to play with audio and whatever VTT we are playing in).  I tend to be fairly laid back and am open to trying any setting and fullfill any character role that may be needed. I have some character ideas rolling around in my head, but I'm not committed to playing any one particular thing. Definitely willing to work with the DM/GM to build something that works with the setting and lore. As far as gameplay, I much prefer the roleplaying and exploration aspect more-so than the combat (though the combat is also important to have, it's just not the main draw for me). As far as game content, I have very little restrictions. Things can be dark and gritty or lighthearted, or a mix of the two. I don't consider any topic off-limits, but my one restriction would be that any sexual content is implied, but not graphically decribed or played out. So the usual "fade to black" is preferred. I know this is usually not an issue, but figured I would call it out for the few exceptions out there. Schedule-wise, I'm available most Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays after 7pm EST. Occasionally I may have a work conflict, but I would let people know ahead of time if that were to happen.

Hello, I'm Ev!  I've been playing DnD for a few years now. I GM for a couple groups and play in another. I'm running Heroes of the Borderlands, Wild Beying the Witchlight, and then I'm playing in a homebrew 5e campaign.  When I play or GM, I like to play good ol fashioned DnD. I love combat, I love scrounging through a city for information, and I love role playing with a group of adventurers. I love to use magic, but I have no qualms bringing the physical pain, or sweet relief of healing. Hello, I am Ez! A player more on the beginner side of things but I am open to learn different systems as well :) I played in one 2 year DND 2014 campaign (homebrew), a couple of one shots and am playing in a sandbox-like campaign for 3 months now. I am looking for a weekly game that starts after 4 PM GMT Tue-Fri. I prefer groups of 4-5 players (+DM). I only have experience with DnD so far, but I don't mind learning new systems or playing in a homebrew. I am more focused on the roleplay aspect but I do like combat/exploration as well, though I am definitely not an optimizer, more of a "this sounds cool and fits my character so I'll take it" kind of guy. I prefer to make a new character fitting the setting (and the group). I appreciate both serious and funny moments in games. I mostly enjoy fantasy / mythical / magical settings - think worlds like Forgotten Realms, Guild Wars 2 or LotR ones, but also Eastern style of fantasy.

I do prefer to play with people 21+ as a personal preference and of similar age to mine own.  I am happy to play an offical campaign or homebrew as well as one-shots and dungeon crawls. I do value the roleplaying element of the game and like games where the players get a chance to express their characters. I like to play magic oriented classes and as women, trans or cis. I usually go for haf-orcs, half-elves, aasimar and teifling as my races. So far I have played a Sorcerer and an Eldritch Knight. I am not interested in erotic roleplaying, pay for play or scenes involving unneccsary and horrific gore or torture. Please DO NOT contact me if this what you run, I am not inteterested. Sexual suggestive content is fine just so long as everyone at the table concents.  As mentioned previously, I do prefer playing with LGBTQ+ folk however I am also happy to play with people outside the community just so long as my pronouns and gender identity is respected. I havent yet played Lancer but I am a HUGE mecha fan - I love Gundam (the tr6 woundwort being my favourite design) and titanfall 2 will always have a soft spot in my heart right beside Pacific Rim 1!  Experience... So far I have completed one roleplay focused one-shot over discord, there was no combat and fairly light rules but I did help me begin to understand rolls and modifiers. I have also completed a session 0 with light combat. I am extremely green and my only other DnD related exprience is BG3 wherein I played a draconic sorcerer with high charisma ti be a chatterbox. I have built a basic lvl 3 character on DnD beyond.  I have no experience as a healer, as support or as a tank.  Playstyle? Given my lack of expreince, I have only so far explored theater of the mind with the use of music and reference images as visual aids over a discord voice call however I do believe I could handle a written campaign as I am an amateur writer. - I dont have any miniatures and havent used any either. I do have two sets of dice, the "Dragons of Storm Isle" starter set and access to DnD beyond.  I prefer cooperative talk at the table as well, with everyone having the opportunity to have their say, if possible within the story and our hcaracters aren't all split up. Logistics.  I would prefer to play on weekends between 5pm and 12pm (I dont mind playing later but WILL have to be quiet) however I may consider weekdas as well as at 5pm to 10pm. I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most evenings; just can't do evenings on Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing. There's been a long stretch of time that I haven't played, but I've still been reading all sorts of D&D stuff and hyperfixating on different things. Hi there!  I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against.  I'm in your world now.  I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style:  I'm serious about having fun.  I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand.  I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much for for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story.  I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road.  I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules.  I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session.   Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore.  I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes:  I'm less interested in modern settings or horror, more interested in traditional high fantasy. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then.  I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond.  I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13.  I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times:  I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time.  North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely.  I'm available any day except Thursday.   My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours.  I'm not adverse to longer sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. My Setup:  I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain.  I don't use a web cam. Objective:  I'm looking forward to meeting new people, making new online friends and either joining a fresh campaign or fitting in to one already in progress.  If we're a good fit, I'll stick around for multiple campaigns.  I'm in this for the long haul. I have no idea what to put on these things. I am wanting to get back into playing, and found this platform. I am fairly flexible with my schedule and I'm hoping to find an in person game group. I have been delving into the 5.5 2024 D&D, and have several characters concepts that I would like to try. I don't want to have to travel too far, but I can travel a little to meet for games. I guess just hit me up if you're interested in meeting a new gaming friend.

Hello! I'm Dónall. Been playing 5e/5.5e since 2021, with most of my experience being as a DM, but some as a player also. Currently DMing a number of campaigns, so would prefer to be a player for now, but may be open to DMing again in the future.  Love creating characters with life to them. Backstories, motivations, goals, and quirks. Really enjoy the roleplaying aspect, but love combat and puzzles just as much. Preferred playing times are Friday evenings and all day Saturday/Sunday (GMT). I will have more free time during the week for June, July, and August.

On the lookout for Adventure, Mystery, Magic, Intrigue, Puzzles, and Silly stuff Time zone: GMT+1 (+2 during daylight saving)  Availability: I'm mainly available between 16.30 and 22.00 on week nights and in daytime on sundays. Experiense: I've been an online DM and player for 3-4 years. Mainly D&D 2014, but I also know 2024, Draw Steel, and Call of Cthulhu.  System: D&D would be the easiest, since I know it well, but I would also like to try out other systems. I'm especially interested in Vampire the Masqurade, Vaesen, Kids on Bikes/Brooms, Daggerheart, Blades in the Dark, House Hold and Obojima. About me:  I am 30+ (she/her), and have always been facinated by fantasy and storytelling, and is a bit of a closet novelist. I love beeing creative and always have some kind of craft project going on. I have a lovely dog named Charlie, who often snore loudly under my table while I play ttrpgs.  As a player I love character arcs and emotional impact. I'm a problem‑solver who can't resist a mystery, and a bit of an instigator, who likes to make things happen. I generally play positive, energetic, smart and playful characters, full of color and shenanigans. I’m interested in: Story‑focused roleplay Meaningful combat - combat can be fun, but I don’t care about XP Opportunities to be creative with noncombat spells and skills Mysteries and Magic Treasure‑hunting adventures Whimsical fantasy full of fey shenanigans Intrigue, schemes, and secrets Morally gray dilemmas Teen/Kids mystery Generally investigating strange supernatural phenomena and dealing with them.  I'm mainly looking for a long term group, though I'm not in a hurry.  Oneshots and short champaigns also have intrest.

2 friends looking for a in person dnd game in fort lauderdale FL. Im 40 he's 50ish. Our DM is moving to Tampa so we are looking for another table in fort lauderdale. We are both experienced as PC's in 5e and 5.5e. We both chip in for supplies (this is apparently a big one for DM's?) Both are easy going just looking to have fun. And both are 420 friendly. Heres to hoping we can find a new game and new friends! we generally play on weekends but the time is open as well. 😁
