Experience I played some AD&D (v2) back in the 1990s, and then went on hiatus for many years. While I played a lot of D&D-inspired video games, I only returned to real D&D last year, and fell back in love with the game. I currently play a weekly 5e game on Roll20, and am looking to add a second nights game to my repertiour. I'm open to online and in-person games, although given the rural area I live in, the latter is not overly likely. My Gameplay Style I like a mixed game style, with a good dose of both roll playing and combat - though I admit to being weak/slow on the roll playing side. I'm most experienced with low-magic characters (I'm a arcane triskster rouge in my current game), but I'd like to try other classes. I'm pretty open to playing any character type, and am happy to change my character around to fit the group. I'm somewhat split in the story-lines that I like to play - I love big epic adventures, but also like small-stakes games (murder mysteries, etc). While I haven't played one since the 1990's, I'd love to play a dungeon crawl centric game (my current game is very much an "exploring an open world" style). I don't know if this is a thing, but a group which plays a series of shorter campaigns instead of one long campaig would be a great fit. Other Stuff Outside of D&D, I read a lot of SciFi and Fantasy novels. I also brew beer and make cheese when I get a bit of free time.

Hello! New to playing DnD, DM'd a few games with some friends for 5e, just got around to being able to play the game myself. I mostly play cleric, but want to branch out to other classes. Want to learn how to RP better, not much for meta-gaming.

I am a male teenager, named Tamao, 14 but mature enough, looking to play some DND 5e. Not 5.5e. I have a decent bit of experience with 5e, knowing most of the rules, although my home group does not do much roleplay, but I am willing and wanting to learn. I prefer a more challenging game, with decent chances of at least being downed, if not killed, and am not looking for a game that is pure roleplay. I mainly play wizards, though enjoy all spellcasters, martials like the Barbarian and Fighter aren't my style, although magical martials like Paladin and Monk are nice for me, and I do wish to play one sometime. I enjoy writing lore or backstories. I am in UTC+1 for a timezone, and am often available most of the day on sundays, except for dinner, unless school gets too much in the way, which doesn't happen often. I am also sometimes available on Saturday evenings, but that is less consistent. I don't enjoy a table without any roleplay easily though. I often make characters based on whatever campaign or oneshot I want one for, and as such am versatile in things like backstory or specific details.

Yo wassup MFs, I am Ymmi, a 25 year old guy from the UK (I will tell you my actual name eventually just not gonna give that out here publicly) I was directed to this site to find a game, and I don't expect much out of it, but if I sound like a vibe then I would happily take any invitiation. I am a creative individual who prefers the roleplay aspect of TTRPGs more than the combat, I don't mind combat but when one round takes upwards of 30 minutes because people don't prepare their turns in advance I hate it. I am not the most interesting individual and I am not great at the things I do, but what I do do (haha doodoo) is try as hard as my mind and body will let me (I am a lazy procrastinator with little drive and motivation, but if i do have motivation i go hard) For TTRPGs, I dont mind which is played, D&D5e or PF2e are just the ones I have played, but I am fully able to learn a new one. I have been both a player and DM, but the groups always die out or have drama, I just wanna play the game man..... Other than TTRPGs, I like videogames, watching youtube, I love animals (I did animal care in college) I dont get out much because there is nothing to do where I live and I dont have any close IRL friends, but I would like to start becoming more active. Theres probably lots more things I can write, but it would be better to just get in contact and get to know each other better through text or voice.

forever DM. I've been playing D&D 5e since 2016. I started as a player for 2 weeks, and then became a DM on a whim, forever DM until today. Pathfinder 2E, and Tormenta 20. Both systems are hard to grasp even after sessions of experience, so I prefer not to go with those. Daggerheart is another I got into recently, I'm down to DM for it as well. It looks fun.

Hello. I have been playing D&D 5e for 2 years, looking for a weekly game whether in 5e or 5.5e. Preferably evenings in the weekends, as I am available after 6 PM EST. Definitely can commit to a consistent weekly game night provided that if 1) IRL does not throw a wrench my way or 2) game is canceled. I enjoy a game where it is combat focused, in no way I am against roleplaying, could mix it up between the two. I am okay with character death, and games whether its homebrew, or official or games converted from different modules. My favorite class to play is the fighter and my go to favorite is the cavalier, a classic knight on horse subclass that defends his party and lives by his own code.

Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that aren't all about fart jokes.. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters fun for the other players as well as the GM. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. I'm not adverse to long sessions, provided we have appropriate intermissions. Experience: I haven't played for two or three years, so I'll need a bit of help getting back up to speed. I know nothing about 5e 2024 rule changes. I'm generally a quick study and willing to learn anything new. I'd prefer a DnD 5e 2014 game, but would be willing to learn 2024 and I do have some experience with PF2e. I'd also be interested in playing Starfinder 2e as a completely new player. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. My schedule is fairly open, so I'm easy to accommodate. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours. My Setup: I have a nice quiet office and professional studio quality audio chain. I don't have a web cam. Pet Peeve: Listening to people talk about something that happened in some other game. Objective: I'm looking forward to meeting new people, making new online friends and either joining a fresh campaign or fitting in to one already in progress. Hi there! I'm Frau Elster, 33, located in Hanover, Germany. I have been playing TTRPGs for roughly a year now. It became quite an hyperfixation and thanks to a local open club I've gotten the chance to test some systems and get an idea of what I enjoy in this game. Ideally, of course, the group vibes and gets along. That's a wish of mine but of course can't be forced. I tend to enjoy smaller groups up to 4, sometimes 5, on a bi-weekly schedule in the evening. I love creating complex characters with a few defining moments already having happened to them to help flesh them out. It didn't happen yet but I'd love to experience what it's like to have a ongoing campaign that weaves in the characters' backgrounds. Usually I have a concept in mind before I create a character and then read through _a lot_ of materials and sources to find the build and world-related backgrounds that fit. For example: I am in the midst of creating a tabaxi stardruid whose base idea was that she looks like a black jaguar and has the constellations map right there in the spots of her fur. Or I knew I wanted a gnome raised by ice giants who draws her magic from the aurora and can hit really hard and now I have several tabs open haha I enjoy good atmospheric horror and am actually thinking about hosting The Magnus Archive TTRPG. But that's a project for the future. Coming from a theatre background I love roleplay and the chaotic rule of cool being applied more than dungeon crawling, rule crunching and min/max-ing. Social encounters and exploration are big to me. Do you know that one friend who needs to check every question mark in a video game? Yeah that's me (and is also a reason why I love Breath of the Wild. Exploring was very much rewarded in this game.) As a GM I love putting in puzzles but that is always a hit or miss with me as a player. In general I would say I am a bit of a chaotic player who enjoys discussing and brainstorming with the others.

I've played D&D constantly for about 7 (almost 8) years, and I've made it the only thing I really do outside of school and work and such. I really enjoy D&D, not particularly because of the combat or roleplay, but more so because of the pure creativity and lore in campaigns. It sparks my mind in ways I can't usually which is one of the reasons for me enjoying it so much. I do still enjoy combat and roleplay a lot though, but I might struggle to get into my characters voice sometimes. In terms of what I like to play, I dabble in a little bit of everything. I've played all the way from homebrew campaigns, to roleplay campaigns, to official campaigns, all the way to oneshots. I've played every genre immaginable ranging from high-fantasy, low-fantasy, sci-fi, historical, modern, horror, and puzzle.

I got into D&D through Baldurs Gate 3 and then started listening to D&D podcasts so that's all the experience and knowledge I have and I have no previous experience with Pathfinder (but open to learn/try). When it comes to availability. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays form 5-6pm until at most 11pm. Saturdays are very flexible and open ended but preferably evenings Sundays is similar to weekdays. Hello, I'm Sapphire. I'm a Brazilian illustrator, and TTRPGs are my favorite hobby. I've been looking for chances to play more recently, specially Daggerheart, my favorite system. As a player I love roleplay, while I enjoy combat and exploration a lot too, I believe the best moments of any campaign usually happen during those moments where the players are just roleplaying to the best of their abilities at each other or towards whichever important NPC they're talking to. I enjoy playing spellcasters, and my characters tend to be either: people with a lot to prove with a mission to accomplish (even if some times they don't even know that themselves), or weird characters whose origins seem to have been leading them towards a happy life, but something caused a huge shift, messing with their life and causing them to have to deal with something else, complex and unatural, which they have to learn to deal with or cure. About myself, besides TTRPGs I love animated shows and movies, books, music, and video games. I enjoy watching video game streamers, and some of my favorite games are: the Dragon Age franchise, Baldur's Gate 3, and Pokemon. I also really like reading about mythology, specially Greek and Roman.

Combat or roleplay, I don't care, I just want to play some D&D with reliable people.

I don't really mind any type of campaign or any way to play, as long as you can explain it. If able to play I can only do on weekends or Monday/friday after school. Edit: I now have some experience I'm currently in 5 campaign dming one but if a player is needed or dm I am available to try as long as it fits my schedule. Now I'm Available on Sundays, Fridays, or Monday afternoon. Once summer hits I'll be free any day.

Played a few one shots and was a small part of a campaign, I like alot about the game, especially combat, I would love an in-person table top game but also happy with online. 6pm GMT on Mondays or Wednesdays would suit me best but can be free at other times. I'm running Heroes of the Borderlands, Wild Beying the Witchlight, and then I'm playing in a homebrew 5e campaign. When I play or GM, I like to play good ol fashioned DnD. I love to use magic, but I have no qualms bringing the physical pain, or sweet relief of healing. Hello, After watching some dnd sessions, I really enjoyed the idea of trying it out myself. I would like to join a group that welcomes newbies, help them learn the game and don't mind slowing down from time to time when I get something wrong (which will happen, more often than not). I am eager to learn and, through this experience, gain more confidence in myself when it comes to role playing and finding a group of people that I could call my friends. I am open minded to critique and I will also try to bring a good experience for the other players and gm. When it comes to the game itself, I am OK doing a pre-made game or a homebrew world. I’m not exactly a new player — I’d say I’m moderately experienced (I’ve finished two long-term campaigns so far). Lately though, I’ve been pretty bored since my usual group is made up of international players, and scheduling sessions has become really difficult. It’s also been hard finding people locally who share the same interests. I’d love to meet and play with more people, so feel free to add me if you’re looking for another player! I’m only interested in online games through Roll20 or theater of the mind since I can’t really commit to in-person sessions because of college. Greetings everyone! I'm a somewhat experienced player looking to join a new game, as I'm getting that itch to play in more games than I currently have! Below is some relevant information about me. Availability: I currently DM a game on Fridays and I'm a player in a campaign on Saturdays nights (starting at 23 UTC, so I can still play on Saturdays so long as the session ends before then), and due to a flexible work schedule, I can make almost any other (reasonable) day/time work for at least the next year. I would prefer a weekly game, but every other week also works. System preference: I don't really mind too much what's being used. I have experience with PF2e and D&D 2014, and a bit with SWADE - I'm currently DMing a campaign using it, 8 sessions in. If we're playing D&D, I'd like to take a look at the 2024 version, as I like most of the changes. About me: I'm a 24 year old guy who's been playing fairly consistently for 5-6 years now. I'm from Brazil so I do have a noticeable accent, but I'm fluent, I promise! Both of the campaigns I'm currently in are fully in English. I despise AI-generated content. I'm sorry, but it's just downright bad and often distracting enough to take me out of the game. If you use AI images often, I'd rather not be in the game. Also I'm gay, if that matters to anyone. What kind of game I'd like: I'm fond of roleplay and PC characterization. Having interactions while maintaining character, be they short remarks or deep conversations, is what I play TTRPGs for! That all being said, I still love combat and exploration with the odd puzzle here and there, and would love a healthy mix of these elements. Sandbox-style campaigns where we are free to explore the character's backgrounds and personal goals while having an overarching objective or even just intriguing side quests would be my favorite type of game. I prefer medieval/steampunk fantasy games most of the time, but I'm not at all opposed to a high-tech/sci-fi campaign! It could be fun. What kinds of characters I usually make: Personality-wise, it varies on the campaign's premise, the game's tone, and my mood at the time. I'm totally down to make anything from an irredeemable villain to a young naive hero. Combat-wise, it depends on the system, but I have a weakspot for "gishes" who blend martial and caster elements. I am guilty of making many "monstrous" characters (my username here is ironic) be they warforged, gargoyles, undead, or just beastmen of any kind. I won't pick something that would be inconvenient/impossible/unfun in your particular setting, though! I want my character to still fit in the world. But if it is a lower fantasy game where player options are more restricted, I'd probably prefer not to join. Not that a character needs an exotic race to be interesting, but I just find the design and appeal of less standard options far more fun to build around, personally! Hey! I'm Juxu (M19) looking for a group to play DND with for the first time. I have, however, read the Player’s Handbook and watched DND campaigns, so I know most of the basics as well as some more advanced rules, and I am familiar with the different classes, subclasses, etc. I’m mostly available on weekends or during GMT-3 weekday afternoons. It would be very unlikely for me to not show up at the session! I enjoy the roleplay aspects of DND, the big character moments, exploration and lore, the political intrigue and how the player actions influence the world. I particularly like when details of a character's background are used in the campaign and are a big focus of the story--if, of course, everyone at the table is getting included and also has their big moments. I do note I have nothing against combat. Exploring creepy ruins and fighting big bads across a detailed world would also be very enjoyable. A character idea I had, for example, was that of a Lorwyn Changeling - Ranger (Swarmkeeper); Druid (Circle of Spores) - that has a colony of sentient spores that wants to spread their hive-mind, just to give an example of what I might conjure up! Though I would always make sure the GM is fine with the character concept and backstory, and I have no problem adjusting. Thanks for reading.
