My name is Ryan if the username didn't give that away. I am looking for a group or at least player or two that would be willing to play tabletop games I am creating my own games and would like to learn about others first. I am knowledgeable in rules but not in the experience of playing. I am not used to roleplaying but I would like to meet learn more about it. I am open most days but certain days are better than others. Depends if I have a doctors appointment or I am doing a project. I am laid back and want my games to be that way without it being super competive, even for wargames.

I have been playing TTRPGs since 1989. I have lived through the age of THAC0 and emerged proudly displaying my battle scars. Over the years I've played BESM, various titles in the World of Darkness setting, all D&D editions except 4th. Pathfinder. West End Games. Marvel Superheroes and Palladium. In the past year I've shifted into running paid D&D games with two currently running back to back, in addition to a long running free campaign.

Hello, I'm Jesse. I've been playing and Gamemastering for 20+ years. I started with D&D 3.0 and have grown with both the Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder environments. I love to explore other systems, as well, and have played more than my fair share of the White Wolf systems (especially, Vampire), The Mistborn Adventure Game and now the Cosmere RPG, Call of Cthulu, and the unofficial Pokemon TTRPGs (Pokemon: Tabletop United and Pokemon: Tabletop Adventures). I've stuck my nose in many others systems such as various GURPS and PbtA systems, Blades in the Dark, and many more large and small games. I haven't picked up a systems that I've been truly unfamiliar with in over a decade. My experience is a spectacular mix of in-person plays with local friends and congoers as well as remote plays via VTTs such as Roll20 and Foundry and Play-by-Post campaigns with online friends and strangers alike. I'm familiar with tools of all varieties and flexible enough to pick up all the new ones as they ship out. I'm always trying to find the right combination for me and my table. I want to add that professionally, my background is in both education and counseling and that you can be comfortable in knowing that I am a well-organized person with both the patience and skills to deescalate and find common ground. Finally, I just want to say that I'm incredibly passionate about TTRPGs and look forward to running some games, and telling some amazing stories with this community. Hi, I'm James from the UK. I've been playing and GMing tabletop RPGs for a long time, and I enjoy trying different systems rather than sticking with one game. As you can probably tell from my system list, my tastes are pretty broad! I've played or run everything from Savage Worlds and Dragonbane to Alien, The One Ring, Star Wars, PbtA games, Blades in the Dark and plenty of others. I'm especially interested in Outgunned right now. I enjoy games where the players actually roleplay with each other rather than everything going through the GM. I like character interaction, collaborative storytelling and giving everyone their chance in the spotlight. Combat is great too, especially when it's exciting and has some narrative weight behind it. As a GM, I'm not interested in trying to beat the players. I want to give them situations to interact with, see what they come up with and make their characters look cool while still giving them meaningful challenges. As a player, I bring the same attitude: work with the group, support other people's moments, and help move things forward. I'm UK-based and mainly play online using Foundry VTT and Discord. My availability varies depending on the game, but I'm generally looking for UK/European evening times. I'm also happy playing with people who are completely new to a system. I don't expect everyone to know every rule before we start, especially considering half the fun for me is discovering games I haven't played before.

Good day, everyone, I'm Steve (48 yo) and live in Yucca Valley, CA. As a retired person (by disability and way too early, lol) I usually have a fair amount of free-time and would like to fill some of that with in-person ttrpgs. I have played online (and still do), extensively, using sites like Roll20 and Foundry. Currently, I am GMing the PF2e adventure Prey for Death online using Foundry, weekly. Also, I GM an in-person game of Call of Cthulhu for my partner and our dog park friends. I have been playing ttrpgs since I was 9 yo, starting with AD&D. Other systems I have played include: D&D 3, D&D 3.5, PF1e, and Mutans and Masterminds. So, I'm looking to meet a few like minded individuals for a weekly or bi-weekly game of Pathfinder 2E. Most likely, I would host a game at my house since I have a gaming room with a six person ttrpg gaming table. However, me traveling to another spot is a thing as well. I love building living worlds, weaving character backstories into the setting, and giving players room to surprise me. Hey, I'm Carn. I have about 6 years of TTRPG experience on both sides of the table across a small handful of systems. My schedule is fairly free currently, so I'm not especially picky about timeframe or game frequency. I tend to enjoy creating characters tied to already existing structures within the world in order to both work with the DM to flesh out a central region or organization of the campaign and anchor that character to a set of themes and locales that will likely be relevant to the campaign. I'm bigger on roleplay than combat, though I have no qualms with combat. I have no problem with character death so long as it is established as a possible threat from the getgo.

Heyo, just a your friendly neighborhood DM and player, been playing since 3.5, had some fun in 4e, tried some 5e, moved to Pathfinder, and then made my own headache of a system for my friends. The TTRPG journey started when I was back in high school, and my writing has been even longer and one of the things I am personally most proud of, my ability to make compelling characters that also have good builds. Greetings all! I have been playing TTRPGs on and off for 25 years and although I am naturally more combat-focused, I have been wanting to improve my roleplaying skills a bit more. Not that I think I am awful at roleplay, but we all have room for improvement and that just feels like the skill I could do better in. I started out GM'ing and have been ran probably 60-75% of the campaigns I have been involved in, so I am very open to either a player or GM role. Right now I am just looking to have fun, so i am not looking to pay or be paid to play a game right now. Maybe if I have time in the future, I will start doing "professional" gamemastering, but as of right now I am just looking for a group to have fun with and build a mutually enjoyable world together. I am a US veteran on the ace spectrum, queer and a trans woman. I will always be curteous and kind to all, except anyone that just generally doesn't believe that ALL individuals should be treated with the same level of dignity and respect. I am wholly intolerant toward intolerance.

I've been playing D&D since my childhood in the early 80's and try my best to re-engage the board game/improv troupe I associate with the best expressions of role playing games. I like voice acting, playing in-character and making sessions a mix of gameplay, making friends and holding spance to let their imaginations run free with safety and advocacy. I'm happy to run games for your group in 5E/5.5E. I'm proficient with D&D Beyond, and will include music/sfx in our games and also make maps with Inkarnate. I'm interested to play games in Foundry/Forge and Roll20 where the use of dynamic lighting and other api features are highlighted. Let’s go on an adventure together! I'm looking for a free, cooperative, consent-based, story-focused TTRPG table. I enjoy character-driven games with party relationships, meaningful combat, exploration, mystery, downtime, and earned emotional moments. Ideal balance: about 50% roleplay, 30% combat, 20% exploration. I like sincere games with humor, but not constant bits, edgelord behavior, or main character syndrome. I fit best with players who share spotlight, cooperate, respect boundaries, and care about everyone’s character mattering. Consent and safety are important to me. Heavy themes, PvP, romance/flirting, sexual content, intense character conflict, or major effects on another PC should be discussed first. Lines and veils should be respected. I'm Scott. I just retired, and am looking to do more gaming now. I started playing RPG's around 1979 or '80 and never stopped. I've played a myriad of systems, but prefer PF1e. I love creating characters and playing them. I like both combat-oriented and story-oriented campaigns. I've never tried a "West Marches" type of campaign, but could be interested. I don't really care for "dark" campaigns, though. I don't mind fighting nasty demons or undead or people out to cause anguish and mutilation, I just don't want to play one, and I prefer my characters to have some sort of safe place they can operate from. I prefer good or neutral characters. If player characters are backstabbing other characters in a campaign, I will likely quit it. I never cared for Shadowrun, because it seemed like everyone, including your employers, was out to get you. I didn't care much for World of Darkness because it seemed like everyone was working at crossed agendas. I also like the creativity involved with world-building, and like GMing. Since I'm now retired, my schedule is pretty wide open in the afternoons and evenings, except for Friday and Saturday nights (when I have other games going on).

I've been in the scene for a little under 10 years (will be 10 this fall) and most of my experience is in DMing in the Numenera setting of the Cypher System, so I am looking to expand my horizons as a player in your group! Broad strokes: I aim to be cool to talk to and interact with, I pride myself on taking high-qulity notes, and I relish the character creation process. I like to think deeply about character decisions, and am most comfortable in a group with a maximum of 3 or 4 players. The Meat of Things Experience: I've been in the ttrpg scene for 10-ish years, but I do not have a ton of experience as a player. To that end, I'm mainly looking to join a game in a system I've never played so I can get the full newbie experience. You won't need to worry about my table ettiquette or basic rules knowledge, just whether I actually read an ability correctly the first few times I use it. Playstyle: I am a roleplayer at heart, and I take character decisions very seriously. I may need a few minutes to mull over what my character may do in any given situation, and I may need information to be restated there is a lot of exposition, but I do understand the need for brevity with others at the table. I love a well thought out combat sequence and I am not opposed to entire sessions being devoted to combat. My main ask is that the campaign cater to my character's arc in some way, I'm not the kind of guy who can make a throw-away character for a campaign that is more focused on a pre-determined path (never personally been a huge fan of modules, for example). Reservations / Preferences: Being almost 30, I prefer games with people around my own age. My comfortable range is anywhere from 25 - 40, with room to wiggle on either side. I won't play at a table that allows hateful language (racism, misogyny, transmisogyny, and transphobia to name a few of the big ones, but this list is not exhaustive), nor will I play at a table that considers itself "neutral ground" regarding human rights conversations. I prefer deeply nuanced and informed conversation around societal issues and suffering, both in-game and in real life. Logistics: I live in SE Michigan, EST, and prefer local games, but I am no stranger to online adventures. If you're in the Detroit Metro area, that works best for me! 35 NB dnd player for discord group Hi there! My current group seems to be falling apart and I'd like to have a different group I can count on to play. Obviously sometimes things come up or people get sick, but I would like a group that cares as much and tries as much as I do to keep playing together. I love making stories together with friends and having silly fun with our ridiculous characters. I have currently mostly only been a player, but I had been working on a campaign for myself to DM, with said group. Did session 0s and things, world built etc, but that might have to change due to things that happened in our group. I also recently had an idea for a space jammer campaign. I've dabbled in different classes and general types of characters, some of which I have used inspiration from character from shows and video games I enjoy for reference. My first DND character and the one I've played the most is Phoenix, a fire genasi, way of the dragon monk with an aberrant dragon mark. (Her vibe was a bit of Bakugo and Mirko from My Hero Academia, and also the jaded outlook on life of Astarion with the protectiveness of Karlach from BG3). There were others in between but my current one is Xiào Lián who is a modified/customized/homebrewed Oath of the ancients paladin. The customization was very plot relevant and basically, he is an eladrin elf and I wanted him to have seasonally specific spells and stuff and there is other lore reasons why he can't control his seasons and stuff. I wanted to play a martial class that had more elemental stuff going on and Oath of the Ancients was the closest so I went from there. His sources of inspiration, and quick reference for character vibes are Xin Zhao from League of Legends, Hua Cheng and Xiè Lián from Heaven Official's blessing. He is very honorable, protective, compassionate and a family man. Haha (Also if anyone is curious about that build, I planned it out on Excel from level 4 to level 20) I am also familiar with Pathfinder and MAGE if any people here like those game modes as well. All this to say, I am open to DM-ing for those patient enough to want to play with a noob DM (we can as a group discuss what kind of game we want) and of course open to being a player in a campaign. I can maneuver my work schedule to accommodate others' availability. I'm hoping to find a group who wants to commit to a weekly game. If something comes up that has to happen that day, I'd like everyone in the group to care enough to want to try to plan a different time that week to play (but if there isn't a time that week, thats fine). This is sounding pretty depressing but I truly would love to find/make a new group that is passionate about the worlds we can create in dnd and building them with other people to the point we look forward to spending time together playing the game every week and if we hang out outside of the game, we make dnd jokes to each other about our characters and other silly things, or talk about how we are still reeling from the horrifying thing that happened at the last session. I have been playing D&D since 1980 and DMing since 1981. Moved from AD&D to 2E, 3E, 3.5 to currently playing Pathfinder 1E. I own too much stuff for it to consider other systems, besides all of the players I have played with were not happy with other systems. I prefer a mix of role playing and combat. Any setting is pretty much ok with me from Wilderness to city to the old dungeon delve. I am not a min/maxer and prefer a cooperative based game.
