Been part of a Candela Obscura table for about 2 years every other Tuesday. Love that so much got a tattoo of it. Tried to branch out to roll 20 discord voice for a few months, got enjoyment out of it but i started to feel pressured to 'perform'. I also hated how an entire session could be filled up with just combat. While combat is fun, if it is number crunchy and too long it just feels like a waste of time.  I'm a rp and lore junky. I loved the characters and story of my campaigns, did not care or know really how to make a super powerful and dps build. Which tells me while I prefer combat to be more rp prone.  I'm a 34 year old mailman and husband and father, so time is very tight.  I will post at least 5 posts a day. Depending on the workload and how high maintenance the family is, and if I find the pbp compelling, I might do a lot more. I hope so. That's why I ultimately ended up bowing out of the dnd.  So my next stepping stone in my ttrpg journey is to find a pbp that posts normally that focuses on rp and story. While I appreciate the chaos and uncertainty of the dice it shouldn't be at the deterrent of player creativity, or fun, or rule of cool. But that's just me.  I can learn any system or setting, I'm a smart dude. I value the people and the pc and the story over all. Also, I'm from Kansas. In the US. Normal sleep schedule. So CDT is where I'm at. That has been an issue before. I've never done paid pbp before but if the quality of the campaign, and set up, and pace is good enough I have no issue helping with a few dollars to the gm

Hello! I’m a huge D&D nerd looking for a campaign to join. I’ve run multiple campaigns over the past few years, listened to several actual-play campaigns, and played in a few games myself, so I have a decent amount of experience. I still get confused sometimes though 😅 I’m looking for a weekly or bi-weekly group, preferably on Fridays. I’m available any time after 2 PM MST and before 7 PM MST. Sometimes life throws a curveball at me, but I will always let the group know ahead of time if I can’t make a session or if something comes up. I’m neurodivergent and have some learning disabilities, which can occasionally affect gameplay a little. Sometimes I may need something repeated or need a little extra time to read or figure something out, but overall it’s not usually a major issue. I really enjoy roleplay-focused campaigns, even though I’m not great at character voices yet. I enjoy combat too, as long as it isn’t nonstop encounter after encounter after encounter. I’m also completely fine with games where characters can die if it makes sense for the story or situation. I always have way too many character ideas floating around in my head, so I’m happy to make someone new if needed. Some series and settings I’ve enjoyed over the years: • Percy Jackson • Marvel • Jujutsu Kaisen (anime and manga) • X-Men • Wings of Fire I’m mainly looking for a fun group that enjoys storytelling, roleplay, and having a good time together. P.S. I am also looking to try out Mutants & Masterminds. I have only heard a little about it, and it intrigued me. So if anyone ever wants a new player who has zero idea how it works or anything, I would be interested in trying!

Hello there! I'm Buff Mimic, I also enjoy Mimi, I'm 23 years old, MtF trans, and an enjoyer of a variety of TTRPG's though I'm currently on the look out for Vampire the Masquerade 5th Edition and or Daggerheart. I've done so much D&D and d20 esque systems that I've been yearning to play with some other dice systems.  About Me I've played TTRPG's as a whole for about 11 years now, nearing 12, and I got into it with D&D 5e. Pathfinder 1e definitely has most of my experience past that, especially the Final Fantasy supplement of it, but I've also experienced Fabula Ultima, Legends in the Mist, Scion, ROOT, and of course VTM. Though VTM 5e is still new to me and I'm really looking to explore it further. I really love playing characters who have stronger personalities. Confident, smug, a bit teasing all around. I try to make them a bit more of the sweet sort, but I do enjoy leaning into a bit more of a brutish side when time allows. One can blame my love of Barbarian for it I am sure. That said being a brute doesn't mean I don't enjoy someone charismatic, and I often like to get deep into roleplay or character creation to give that personality something unique and fun about them. Outside of TTRPG's I have some favorite games in Final Fantasy 14, Monster Hunter World, Nuclear Throne, Celeste, and Rabbit & Steel. I like the games that can make my adrenaline spike... or allow me some fun to customize and be a lil bit of a fashionista with my character as I do enjoy making them look pretty. When it comes to games themselves I'm not really afraid of any real topics. I don't chomp at the bit for horrible things to happen, but if something makes sense to happen narratively I'd rather it happen so I can properly react to the horror that is put in front of me and give some real honest reactions so I can really emulate how my character would feel. I'll play pretty much anything however. I just have a preferance for wanting to learn some new things.

Hello! I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs for about 6 years, primarily 5e and SWRPG FFG. I’m looking to get into systems like Pathfinder 2e, Starfinder 2e, Draw Steel, Mutants & Masterminds, and Daggerheart. Lean towards fantasy, sci-fi, sci-fantasy, and superhero games, but I’m open to trying other settings. I tend to enjoy balanced games where combat is present, but roleplay, story, and character choices are just as prevelant. Character-driven campaigns, heroic adventuring, mysteries, investigations, political intrigue, and even kingdom-building all sound interesting to me. Character-wise, I tend to gravitate toward sword-and-sorcery types, shapeshifters, summoners, and pet/companion classes that are sarcastic, conflicted, or strong and stoic. I’m available Saturdays, any time, US Central timezone. I’m hoping to find a group that enjoys collaborative storytelling, is LGBT-friendly, and takes the game seriously enough for the story to mean something to everyone without losing the ability to joke and have fun. Speaking of, I'm not into joke campaigns, adversarial GM-vs-player games, or games with heavy sexual content/themes. Some of my favorite inspirations include Star Wars, Eragon, The Lord of the Rings, and The Expanse.

Hello, I am an avid TTRPG enthusiest and have read the entirety of rule books for advanced DnD 2nd edition. I have a large knowledge of Pathfinder 1e as well as Vampire the masquerade 5e and DnD 5e. I also have read a large amount of books for other rpgs including mask a new generation, vampire the requiem, mutants and masterminds 2e, the older world of darkness editions, marvel heroic rpg, and more. I am anxious with new people, but once I learn the group vibe I play my charecters with joy and enthusiasm. I am intrested in playing with a group that I can be myself in and I will listen to any concerns others have without jugment and I hope for the same in return. I am willing to try any system if I can get my hands on a copy of the rule book.

Hi! My name is Jamie, and I am looking to jump into a game of Mutants and Masterminds (Or Champions) to explore the world of Superhero TTRPGs! I grew up with a dad who was a huge comic guy, and that passed onto me, so I love superheroes and villains and naturally would love to be part of a unique story with my own superhuman alongside a cast of others. I have been playing TTRPGs for over 6 years now, mostly DnD5e, but I have dabbled in Pathfinder, the World of Darkness systems, and Lancer!  I am a huge fan of series such as the Wheel of Time books, not long ago I began the Mistborn series, and am big into video games, too.  My playstyle generally is that of an 'instigator'. Not that I am trying to start drama (at least not the bad kind!), but make things happen in the game that further the plot or create fun narratives. I lean towards roleplay, certainly, but I do love a power fantasy combat from time to time, making those battles that truly test me shine all the more!  I haven't actually played Mutants and Masterminds or Champions before, but I have looked into the systems and am mostly comfortable with the rules; of course, experience is best in these situations, so I am dearly hoping to dip my toes into the system(s).  I am looking for an online game, and that is where most of my previous experience is anyway. Usually utilising Discord as a way of communicating, and using Foundry VTT to actually play with maps and character sheets. I am not foreign to Play by Post, however.  I am within the GMT+1 timezone, and Mondays are my best free day, but I can go outside of that for other timezones. Insomnia allows me to stay up later / early without much change to my existing schedule.  I already have some existing character ideas for a superhero game, so please reach out if I seem a good fit!
