Hi! Newish to TTRPGs but looking to find a steady group either in person or online!

Hi, french adult player here. Experienced in PF2E : Been playing and dming 1e and 2e for yers now. Started with naheulbeuk and 1e, then did one game of 5e and finally moved to 2e and a bit of Knight. I play my round quickly and, if possible, some flair. [Type of game]: To complement a more rp focused campaign I'm in I'd like to find a game that's more focused on action and aventure. Looking at recent APs I've seen that Hellbreakers and Hell's destiny look cool. Would be interrested going back into Kingmaker after my previous go was cut short. Or even conversions of 1e AP or homebrew stuff ! : On week days I can play from 19:00 to 00:00 and on saturdays I am free all day from 08:00 to 00:00 I'm a big gish fan, but so far haven't got to play one in 2e to very high level (highest I got with a magus was level 5 or 6 in abomination vault before a tpk). The only high level AP I got done so far was Age of Ashes several years ago with my sorcerer. So I'd be pretty flexible on roles to fill with one, ideally i'll try to make a magus work and with its upcoming rework I think I could make it fill defensive or offensive roles in a party ! Some characters I played before were: -Phaebus: in 1e, a magus smith from Torch in Iron Gods. He was one of the students of the local mage who had gone missing at the start of the AP, on the way to rescue him he found an intelligent sword of strange design that had lost its memories. He made it his goal to restore the lost memories and learn more about that sword in order to forge his own masterpiece. Piers: 2e Age of Ashes, a draconic sorcerer who chose to become a paragon of heroism for the weak after escaping slavery. He wore shiny plate armor and a shield without any other weapon to be a symbol of protection in the name of Milani. After the end of the campaign he kept travelling to free slaves and oppressed alike. Red Swirl: 2e Kingmaker, a kholo magus from a group of bandit/mercenary kholos who joined the party to get rid of the Staglord, and then stayed to help them deal with anything pertaining to magic. Sadly the game stoped early in book 2. W4N-D3RER: 2e Abomination Vault, an automaton cleric of casandalee who puts on a front talking very robotically and flatly, indicating verbally the tone or emotion he is going for. he does so to get people used to interracting with the less emotive sentient machines children of the goddess. He died late into the dungeon and was planned to return as a ghost summoner, with his old automaton body as a contruct eidolon. But sadly, again, the group disbanded and gave up after a tpk. Some more details: -Won't join games that use AI -LGBTQ friendly is required. -Furry friendly is preferred

I go by Nei online and I have played various games over the years (mostly homebrewed and very light games) but not many "complete" campaigns, I wish to fix that and enjoy a story to the fullest. Hey! I'm Tomb, a (technically) 6 year DND player (on and off and with a lot of "rule of cool" tables so not a veteran) looking for a game for Sunday Nights usually starting around 8 EST (though my schedule will probably open soon!) Im a storyteller at heart, with a big focus on worldbuilding, lore, and character driven narratives. I like getting into the depths of the worlds history and seeing what makes it tick while playing with harsh backstories that loom like shadows over the players, but I tend to shy away from GrimDark, I like some hope with my whump please! None of that means I don't like combat though, combat plays a really important part in a lot of stories and can be interesting in their own right! I do know a lot of the rules for DND 5e, I've been watching actual plays long enough to have picked up on the rules, but I prefer Homebrew over RAW and Rule of Cool over Rules Lawyering I'm a huge fan of actual plays, namely Campaign 2 of critical role, Dimension 20s Misfits and Magic, A Court of Fey and Flowers, and The Seven, a small one shot campaign called World's Apart, and the beginning half of Godsfall (before the cast imploded) Literature wise I'm an avid reader of high fantasy, Eragon being my favorite series, along with Harry Potter (fuck terfs), and a niche Midgrade series called Avalon: Web of Magic! TL;DR in the DMs Guide Player Types: Im an Explorer, a Problem Solver, and a Storyteller, but I'm more than willing to hit something along the way, i prefer Homebrew and Rule of Cool over RAW, and i want some found family/hope with my hard story beats! Hello everyone! my name is Blair, and I am a player looking for more games to play! my schedule just recently opened up, and i need to roll dice and tell some stories! a bit about me: a bulk of my TTRPG experience comes from playing 2014, but i do have experience playing other systems as well, such as Candela Obscura, Daggerheart, Pathfinder, and I've even played a homebrew version of DND. when it comes to me as a player, i do tend to play spellcasters, it just intrigues me a lot more than the martial classes, and when I do play martial classes, i always give them limited magic. I'm also a pretty respectful tablemate, i try to give my fellow players a chance to get involved. along with that, I do engage in romance, both PC and NPC, just depends on whether or not the table is down with that! oh, speaking of romance, i am Queer and trans! with the world that we exist in, I find that it is better for my table to know that upfront than learn that not only am I not cis but also, I like both boys and girls, it's just a fact of life. with that you must be a Queer and trans friendly table as well as a disabled friendly table since I am disabled as well! now to move onto a gm I would prefer: typically, how I'd parse out a potential good GM for me to play under, is I'd do a one-shot with them and see if we're a good fit, and if we can have good conversation, but considering the nature of a post like this, I am willing to forego that! that being said, you still need to have the following: be America-based and even more specifically be CST-based- since I am based in North America, I just can't do uber late games. it's not good for my mental health, and it causes me to be a terrible person for responding to DMs. RP skills - this doesn't mean that you shouldn't at least try to incorporate combat in your sessions but i need those RP skills sharpened to the max! homebrew vs. Module - I am willing to play a module but i would prefer a homebrew world. it shows that you are more than willing to be flexible with your players' stories and want to share that creativity with the world at large. recording vs basic home game - I am very okay and do consent to a recorded game, considering i have been in a few actual plays! that, however, does not mean that i will turn my nose up at a basic home game, in fact that is one of my favorites!

I've only ever had the chance to play to the end of the first book of Pathfinders Legacy of Fire, so the games I'd love to play from start to finish (in order of most wanted to least for each system) are: Pathfinder 1 - Curse of the Crimson Throne, Return of the Runelords, Kingmaker. Pathfinder 2 - Any of the above converted to 2E, or anything else. D&D 5E - Curse of Strahd. Call of Cthulhu - Never played, but with the right DM, would love to try it. I like roleplay heavy games, but having a fight is also good. I tend to homebrew stuff, because any game engine is just an invitation for creativity. Usually play sneaky-snoopy characters, chaos goblins and/or demons like Tyranny (my favorite!).

Hello, I've been playing D&D and other TTRPGs for about 20 years starting with D&D 3.5e. I played 4e for a few years and then played 5th Edition when it released and have played it many times since. I worked at a D&D summer camp for 4 years as a councelor and GM for kids ages 8-13 playing 3.5e for the first year and 5e for the last 3. I have also run many one shots and short adventures for my friends. Because of a combination of getting bored of the system and not liking the business practices of Hasbro and Wizards I stopped playing D&D 5e last year and I'm looking to learn some new systems. I've run a couple one shots in Cyberpunk Red and Tenra Bansho Zero and ran a short campaing for my friends in a homebrew system of my own loosely based on the webseries Epithet Erased, but other than that have been a D&D forever GM for most of my life. Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

I have played 5e, Pathfinder 1 and 2, and 3.5e, but open to trying new systems and homebrew. Still somewhat of a novice, but not entirely new. I love making all sorts of characters and contributing to a group. I am not going to make the "lone wolf", hostile, or murderhobo characters. I will pull my weight during combat, in RP, and the campaign story. I do love combat, but also love RP and I think they are both important to TTRPGs. I want the story as much as the numbers!
