Old time gamer, tired of D&D. LGBTQ+ friendly. Middle aged male looking to get back into some World of Darkness after not playing for a number of years. Mage, Demon, Werewolf, Hunter, they're all great. Not so interested in Vampire, though. I'm (now) a West coast Canadian. I'm less interested in hack-and-slash and more into character driven narratives. I tend to dabble in philosophy and follow science news and my humour tends to be a little on the darker side. Hoping to find some interesting people to weave a narrative with.

I have no idea what to put on these things. I am wanting to get back into playing, and found this platform. I am fairly flexible with my schedule and I'm hoping to find an in person game group. I have been delving into the 5.5 2024 D&D, and have several characters concepts that I would like to try. I don't want to have to travel too far, but I can travel a little to meet for games. Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. I recently launched a paid Vampire: The Masquerade Chronicle, so I'm willing to trade seats if our playstyles and game list match. Regarding scheduling, I'm available every day (but would prefer playing every other week) from 9pm to 2am GMT+2, so don't let the timezone be an obstacle to our meeting. Hello there! I am Aevan. I recently graduated as a Bachelor of Engineering, Majoring in Electronics. I like buttermilk, dark chocolate and apples. I am always serial crafting one concept before leaping to another worldbuilding, neither of them bearing any similarity beyond their unfinished state and their existence in my synapses. Those rare few lucky enough to get incarnated unto txt files and word docs are few and far between. And they, too, bear the mark of incompleteness despite the level of "corporeality" they may have managed to ascend to. I am a DnD 5e foreverGM looking to indulge myself as a player. The rare times I do get to play, my class of choice may range from purely relativistic melee to Spellswords. I usually play as Intrigue or Detective sorts, with high sink in Int & Wis stats, at times synergizing with abilities like Grim Psychometry or spells like Legend Lore. I do enjoy a good mindless Barbarian or a "I hit 3 times at a row" Human Fighter every now and then, as you do. I am very green to many systems, and while I intend to learn as I go, I do hope my newbie shenanigans, combined by the inner Player finally being released unto a sandbox, will prove to be very little nuisance to the rest of my fellow players. I've played WoD since I was a kid and love it. Recently getting into DnD. I'm very easy going and get along with pretty much everybody.

You've heard it before: eternal DM wants to finally get a chance to be a player and has a million and one character ideas up their sleeve to do so. I love 5e (2014 and 2024 versions are both fine) and have been itching to get back into it now that I've managed to get some more free-time in my schedule. I'm very familiar with the rules and most source material, enjoy a good homebrew or modules (no preference), and have equal experience/interest in RP and combat. I'm familiar with online play over Discord / Roll20 / D&DBeyond / etc. and am a quick learner so anything new is also not a problem. Hi! I'm Alice and VtM is my all time favorite ttrpg and I really, really want to play again. Back in 2013, I played Vampire the Requiem for the first time and **loved it**. After that, my group moved on to V5 and I've been a die hard anarch ever since. My favorite ever character I had was Hannah the Gangrel. She and her coterie managed to survive a year-long campaign, so I consider her a great success. As a player, I enjoy making characters that are the opposite of me in some way. Take Hannah, she was strong, impulsive and violent, which personally I could never. In DnD, I greatly enjoyed playing a deeply religious and devout Paladin, bound by all sorts of oaths and codes. I'd be willing to commute for an in person game on Sjæland, as long as public transport is easily accessible. So Copenhagen, Roskilde, Køge, anywhere with a train station. For online games, I've made it work before with a 6 hour difference and I'm willing to do it again. I work crappy hours anyway, so I will absolutely stay up late to have some fun playing pretend with strangers on the internet. IRL, I'm in my 30s, working as a cook at a fancy restaurant and have decided I need to get back into my favorite hobbies and cultivate more of a social life. Greetings all! I have been playing TTRPGs on and off for 25 years and although I am naturally more combat-focused, I have been wanting to improve my roleplaying skills a bit more. Not that I think I am awful at roleplay, but we all have room for improvement and that just feels like the skill I could do better in. I started out GM'ing and have been ran probably 60-75% of the campaigns I have been involved in, so I am very open to either a player or GM role. Right now I am just looking to have fun, so i am not looking to pay or be paid to play a game right now. Maybe if I have time in the future, I will start doing "professional" gamemastering, but as of right now I am just looking for a group to have fun with and build a mutually enjoyable world together. I'm a DM for two DnD games (long-running homebrew & a new group that's tackling Lost Mine of Phandelver, 5e and 5,5e). I've been researching and been interested in a lot of other systems to try and broaden my TTRPG horizons, but I'd like to play under some experienced GMs first before I maybe try GMing them myself. Also, I really miss playing and would like to be part of a group. :D Games I'm looking for and my experience level: - Daggerheart (GMed Sablewood Messengers and know the rule book. Any campaign frame or game length, preferably at least a short campaign is okay!!) - Vampire the Masquerade (absolute newbie, know a little bit but definitely need help & explanation for lore & game) - Powered by the Apocalypse systems (also never played, most interested in Masks & Thirsty Sword Lesbians but would read into others as well!) - Candela Obscura (Read the quickstarter guide and very intrigued) What else I'm looking for: - 100% AI-free games. Non-negotiable. - Preferably a weekly or bi-weekly game on week-nights, sometime between 6pm - 11pm/12am CEST. Hey, I'm Night, 21, and been playing and running TTRPGS for 8 years now ,with half a thousand sessions ran, and a few dozen played. Though playing has crawled out of my comfort zone, I'd like to try playing more! As both a DM and player I like fostering character roleplay, especially creating *interesting dynamics* between PCs and elevating the energy of the RP. I am also a mad theorizer, so if your campaigns include mysteries or investigations, prepare for thousands of wildly inaccurate theories. And for me to discard the only correct one I would be really interested in trying other systems, but would also be glad to play DND

Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

Hello, I am an avid TTRPG enthusiest and have read the entirety of rule books for advanced DnD 2nd edition. I have a large knowledge of Pathfinder 1e as well as Vampire the masquerade 5e and DnD 5e. I also have read a large amount of books for other rpgs including mask a new generation, vampire the requiem, mutants and masterminds 2e, the older world of darkness editions, marvel heroic rpg, and more. I am anxious with new people, but once I learn the group vibe I play my charecters with joy and enthusiasm. I am intrested in playing with a group that I can be myself in and I will listen to any concerns others have without jugment and I hope for the same in return. I am willing to try any system if I can get my hands on a copy of the rule book.

33M, EST time zone I enjoy engaging with themes of "no good guys", moderate to extreme horror and flawed but earnest characters. I love roleplaying and usually build sheets to reflect a character concept or personality instead of optimized stats. I'm not interested in NSFW roleplay but I will engage with NSFW themes if they fit the game setting. I'm happy to tailor my character concepts and degree of gory detail to whatever the rest of the table is comfortable with. Most of my roleplay experience has been text based or play by post, but I've also played and helped run several campaigns both online and in person that lasted anywhere from months to 2+ years. I have a learning disability that makes math and learning new rulesets difficult (dyscalculia) but I do my best to compensate for it through cheat sheets and reference cards I make for myself. It's a me problem but a little patience while I learn is greatly appreciated. World of Darkness is the setting I have the most experience with, particularly Mage20, Vampire20, and the By Night Studios LARP system. I have a general understanding of WH40K and have read some of the ttrpg sourcebooks but my play experience is limited to some of the video games and a few novels (Rogue Trader, Darktide, Mechanicus, the Night Lords trilogy, Infinite and the Divine). I am tentatively open to systems not specifically tagged but would prefer to avoid DnD (any edition), Daggerheart, Fate, and Apocalypse World/PbtA. Other non-ttrpg favorites include Destiny/Destiny 2, Mistborn, splatterpunk fiction, the Cthulhu mythos, and Murderbot Diaries. I am generally available between 5 to 10pm American EST on Mondays and Wednesday-Friday but there is some variability on Fridays, as I run my own game on that day once or twice a month.

I tend to lean towards more mature campaigns and storylines that aren't afraid to delve into uncomfortable topics as long as they are dealt with carefully and aren't used just to make your campaign edgy. Hello there! My name is Blaze, I'm a 27 y/o transfem, and I've recently decided to dive into learning about World of Darkness and giving it a shot. I've currently bought the core books for Vampire, Werewolf, and Hunter (all 5e) and am down for learning and playing those, or trying out the 20th anniversary games (though I'd need some way of accessing the rules for those). I'm available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 8am to 12pm PST (sometimes available late at night depending on my work schedule). I'd love to find a group to explore the world of gothic punk horror with! I like strong and engaging roleplay, with plenty of opportunities to explore my and others' characters, though I also enjoy a good combat. I can be a bit shy with new groups, but if the group is willing to welcome me in, I usually open up pretty fast. I'm still learning about WoD, but if I were to give some thought about character types I might wanna play (I've only skimmed the rulebooks so far): Vampire: Brujah, Tzimice, Nosferatu, or maybe Ventrue Werewolf: Bone Gnawer, Black Fury, Ghost Council, Hart Warden, or Silent Strider Hunter: Inquisitive, Faithful, or Underground Mage: Dunno much, but I'd probably lean towards a Traditions character, though Technocracy could be fun too The rest: I don't know enough about player options in the other games.

Hey there! I'm looking to find two games to join, Werewolf the Apocalypse 20th Edition and Mage the Ascension 20th edition: Either with the same group for both or a different group for each! I'm a pretty well experienced rpg player in general, but especially for WoD's lore and systems! I've got plenty of experience with Werewolf, but this would be my first time getting to play Mage. Heya, all! I know this is a bit of a longshot, but I have a FIERCE hankering for some World of Darkness of just about any flavor. New, Old, Chronicles of, it's a big wide World of Darkness and I'm looking to play any game in any edition/rendition of the setting. I have twenty years of off-and-on TTRPG and roleplay experience and have played two games across two different versions of Vampire (technically three, but one never left the "design characters" stage). I'm a huge fan of narrative games of deeply-woven politics and manipulation and welcome the opportunity to bring my sensibilities to your table.
