Hey everyone! My friend and I are looking for an online group and a DM to join. We've both ended up being the forever DMs in our own group, and whenever one of us gets to play, it's usually because the other is running the game. We'd really love the chance to finally be players together and actually roleplay alongside each other for once. We're ideally looking for a brand new campaign, since it's usually easier to get invested in a story from the beginning rather than jumping into an established one. That said, we're open to hearing about ongoing games if you think we'd be a good fit. We're both veteran TTRPG players with plenty of experience in both D&D 5e and 5.5e. INTRODUCTION Hello. My name is Toaster Strudel (18 | M). I'm an artist, writer, roleplayer, and actor. I'm a very creative person and like to get involved with many different media that I find interesting. I have a deep love for complex characters and rich worlds, and I am often the most involved in campaigns.  When it comes to playing D&D, or really any type of TTRPG; I am most in my element when roleplaying. I tend to not like combat if it lacks any flare or story importance. I have been roleplaying for 7+ years and I'm very good at staying in character. Seperating player from character is important for me as I don't wish to give the wrong impression to someone by acting unlike myself, so I always keep open communication. I'm as open as a person can be. Communication is KEY to the structure of any group and I respect that rule above all else. My humor can be brash and may leave someone uncomfortable. In such a case, I prioritize keeping an open mind, so if someone has an issue, I am notified and understanding of their wishes. Along with that, I also prioritize communication with the DM. Player to DM communication allows me to properly convey what I want for my character and vice versa with what the DM wants. Lastly, it's important to know that all my characters come pre-made. I have a variety listed below ranging from complex characters with detailed backstories to ideas with little background. On the grander scale, I offer a large pool of information that can be used as extra content when the campaign is slowing down. These tie directly to my character and their progression. As the DM, you are free to work with me on the information that I offer. Not everything I write will fit exactly with your campaign, and there may be things that you wish to change. Talk to me. We will work through it together until we find a perfect fit. (TL;DR) 18 y.o. male. I love roleplaying. I prioritize open communication. CHARACTERS To show the way I build my characters, and in extention, the level of detail I go; here are some of my well-constructed characters. Silas Mirelight - Cyberpunk RED "Silas Mirelight is a man hardened by a life marked by loss and struggle. The pain he's endured has carved him into a man of cold resolve and quiet bitterness, shielding what little dignity he has left behind a wall of isolation. He is fiercely principled, refusing to make promises he can't keep. Trust doesn't come easily to Silas. He keeps people at a distance, not fully from apathy, but also out of fear — fear of seeing others hurt because of him. Despite this, a burning sense of justice drives him. It’s a harsh, often hypocritical kind of justice — one rooted in vengeance. To Silas, those who take lives deserve to suffer, for a life taken is forfeiting your own. It’s a worldview riddled with flaws, but he believes it’s a necessary evil to protect the innocent. It’s all shaped by a single tragedy; Jodie." Silas has his own mind palace where he visualises his evidence. He's cold and calculated and leaves little room for error. However, his mind is fragile, and struggles to keep going unless given a purpose. That purpose is hunting down Jodie's killer. He has a background in the NCPD where he learned to be covert and track people down. He has a few acquaintances, such as Zoey, a stylist who doesn't know much about Silas' life but cares deeply for him; and Sidnor, a cop who worked as a newbie under Silas during his time on the force, keeping his identity a secret, even though he doesn't want too. Hello. I go by Net. I'm a creative with a background in collaborative storytelling that started long before tabletop. My roots are in book-based roleplay and written fiction, so character voice, motivation, and internal consistency matter a lot to me. I carry that same approach to the table. My TTRPG experience is honest but specific. I've played a handful of One Piece-themed D&D homebrew one-shots and two proper D&D sessions, so I'm genuinely newer to true tabletop compared to some. That said, I'm currently active in a living campaign built on a hybrid D&D 5e, Pathfinder 2e, and Naruto 5e ruleset, and I've picked things up fast. I'm not afraid to ask questions, and I do the reading. Lately, i've been interested in trying Cyberpunk Red I also have special needs that can make processing dense information a bit slower. It has never stopped me from being a full, committed player, but I wanted to be upfront about it. Playstyle: Roleplay-first. I build characters from the inside out, starting with a concept, a voice, and a reason for existing in the world. I enjoy mechanical depth and I'm not against combat, but what keeps me at the table is character work, political texture, and a story that rewards investment. Morally complex scenarios are a plus. What I bring: Genuine investment in the shared story and a strong creative instinct shaped by years of writing and collaborative fiction. Outside of tabletop I work with streamers and artists on creative projects, so I think about storytelling and world-building with some intentionality. Inspirations: One Piece is a big one for tone. I'm drawn to stories that balance levity with real consequence, and worlds that feel like they existed before the players arrived. Logistics: Based in the UK (GMT). Online games preferred. I'm a reliable, consistent presence when I commit. Reservations: Pure dungeon-crawl with minimal story isn't really my thing. I want to care about what's happening and who I'm sharing the table with.

Hello! I'm Dex, I'm 24, and I'm looking to hopefully join some people for some D&D! I'd prefer a game in the AM EST, and I can be available on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As for me as a player, I've been playing for a little over a decade now, but I still wouldn't consider myself a veteran in any way. I love getting into character, participating in the world that is set before me, participating in further other player's character's story lines, and working as a team. My absolute favorite things about the game are watching characters grow and flourish, becoming invested in PC and NPC story lines, and role playing with others. I've mostly played D&D 5e, but I've also played a handful of other systems. I enjoy a 70/30 split between role play and combat, and I love when combat furthers the story in some way. Combat is amazing, but RP is where the most fun lies for me. I can be flexible with classes, preferring Wizard, Paladin, Warlock, Ranger, Rogue, or Cleric. I prefer to make a character once a know a bit about the world and can tailor a backstory especially to have great driving motivation and interpersonal dynamic possibilities for the specific campaign. iv done tabletop with friends before and always was the GM. i even tried to run my own textbased game but could never keep those alive, people eventually just stopped responding even after multiple reminders its their turn in combat. so im looking to be a player this time instead. im fine with both roll20 and discord text play or a öove gameplay deal over roll 20 or similar sites. the three characters i can for DND offer are: -a kobold demolitionist (comic relief obsessed with explosives. this guy would use a more explosives focused subclass for artificer i found on reddit if thats ok with your game) -a tribal tabaxi guy with spear who moves fast and haresses enemies in melee (this character is very cruel and would be only suited to serious games) -a harengon geomancer (this guy would only use earth and stone themed spells and im partial to reflavoring existing spells as earth ones) for other settings i usually have one character per setting. NOTE: im not interested in character creation involving rolled stats i dont like rng deciding my stats i prefer pointbuy.

Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

Hi, my name is Gideon (32; They/them). I am looking to join a campaign with a LGBTQ+ friendly group of adults Monday-Friday after 5pm or Saturday/Sunday after 6pm EST since I work two jobs. I have played 5e, Pathfinder 1 and 2, and 3.5e, but open to trying new systems and homebrew.  Still somewhat of a novice, but not entirely new. I love making all sorts of characters and contributing to a group. I am not going to make the "lone wolf", hostile, or murderhobo characters. I will pull my weight during combat, in RP, and the campaign story.   I do love combat, but also love RP and I think they are both important to TTRPGs. I want the story as much as the numbers! I am okay with modules or homebrew. A long-term campaign would be the best but I am down for shorter ones as well.  As for RP style, I am still struggling with accents beyond a few very bad ones (lol). I am autistic so I know I can sometimes be a little flat-toned, and I am working on watching videos for how to improve my library of accents! I enjoy learning about other's characters/stories, as well as the lore/story of the DM's world. I want a party that can be serious or silly but wants to tell a story together with the DM. I would love to get invested in characters and campaign. I want to build relationships with other player's characters and honor the effort they made in creating them, even if said character is Mr. Noodle's the Lizard who speaks only in puns.  Happy to be in a campaign with romance (consensual) or without. I am more than happy with detailed worlds and involved/complex plots. I am a lover of Dune (books and films), The Expanse (books and series), Lord of the Rings (books and films), Poppy War, Red Rising, Arrows of the Queen, and others.  I do not get inebriated at the tables and never have, so if that is something other players or you as a DM worry about or have dealt with, you won't with me. I am also an artist and love to doodle for campaigns.  I have a Discord and working mic/camera. I am a note-taker and pay attention. So if you are a DM that wants a player who will pick up on subplots and details, I am for you! I do have experience with D&D Beyond as well as Owlbear. Reservation:   I don't have any major phobias that need to be avoided but I won't do SA of a character. I am understanding of it being part of a backstory or world (off-screen) or if it has been discussed/agreed on between victim's player and DM yet even then only off-screen/stage. Absolutely no RP of SA.   I am okay with darker themes, but I don't want to be in campaigns with fantasy racism or "women and AFAB people can't be fighters" stuff where the DM uses it as an excuse for their sexism. If it's part of the world, fine, but don't be obnoxious about it and make playing anything other than a male character miserable. Hi all!! Came here after someone recommended this site to me. I'm Kip, 24 (25 in June), and go by she/they! (I am also autistic, so sometimes I do struggle with VC, but I am more than willing to use VC) I've been into the hobby for about 2-3 years I think? I really got into it after BG3 released, and stuck with it since then. Alot of these games I've either never played but want to (CBP RED, Shadowrun) and others I've only played oneshots from (Call of Cthulu, Fallout). But I really want to dabble more into TTRPG's! I'm really passionate about making/developing characters, and I like to draw (even though I struggle with humans) and commission art of my characters. That being said.. I will NOT JOIN YOUR TABLE IF THE GM/PLAYERS USE AI IN ANY WAY. I AM EXTREMELY ANTI-AI. I'm Essence, or C.J., and I've been TTRPG'ing and playing/running games for roughly 13 years, moreso as a GM than as a Player. I come from a large selection of various other RPG backgrounds, starting with Dungeons and Dragons 3.5e then moving on to other systems like Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu / Delta Green, World of Darkness (OWoD and CofD), the Year Zero Engine games (Mutant, ALIEN, Twilight 2K, and TFTL/TFTF), Modiphius 2d20-style games (Fallout, Star Trek, and Dune), and PbtA games like Blades in the Dark and MASKS. I'm in my mid-twenties, a Data Security Analyst for my dayjob and am a Soldier. I enjoy science-fiction and spy thrillers, roleplaying and strategy games, weight-lifting, cats (I have three!), and performative theatre / cinema as hobbies and interests! 33M, EST time zone I enjoy engaging with themes of "no good guys", moderate to extreme horror and flawed but earnest characters. I love roleplaying and usually build sheets to reflect a character concept or personality instead of optimized stats. I'm not interested in NSFW roleplay but I will engage with NSFW themes if they fit the game setting. I'm happy to tailor my character concepts and degree of gory detail to whatever the rest of the table is comfortable with. Most of my roleplay experience has been text based or play by post, but I've also played and helped run several campaigns both online and in person that lasted anywhere from months to 2+ years. I have a learning disability that makes math and learning new rulesets difficult (dyscalculia) but I do my best to compensate for it through cheat sheets and reference cards I make for myself. It's a me problem but a little patience while I learn is greatly appreciated. World of Darkness is the setting I have the most experience with, particularly Mage20, Vampire20, and the By Night Studios LARP system. I have a general understanding of WH40K and have read some of the ttrpg sourcebooks but my play experience is limited to some of the video games and a few novels (Rogue Trader, Darktide, Mechanicus, the Night Lords trilogy, Infinite and the Divine). I am tentatively open to systems not specifically tagged but would prefer to avoid DnD (any edition), Daggerheart, Fate, and Apocalypse World/PbtA. Other non-ttrpg favorites include Destiny/Destiny 2, Mistborn, splatterpunk fiction, the Cthulhu mythos, and Murderbot Diaries. I am generally available between 5 to 10pm American EST on Mondays and Wednesday-Friday but there is some variability on Fridays, as I run my own game on that day once or twice a month.

Due to unfortunate circumstances my games has ended and lf for new ones Being a newbie in dnd5e still I want to learn deffrent settings and gain experience with the game. Do I has experience with cyberpunk red and 2020 as well as dark heresy and only war. Either bi weekly or weekly. unable friday-sundays but otherwise any game start from 18 CET and onwards to about 23 is good with me. Type of group am looking for is focus on roleplaying aspect and long term game we're one can devolpe their characters and explore the setting. Prefer original story but open to all sort of stories. Free games only no community as I prefer smaller groups. Am well over 18, nice guy who just enjoy rp in all forms. Having done mmorp a lot as well as cyberpunk Red and 2020 as well as only war. My character I wish to explore is a prakration pratice goliath monk as well as a cleric/druid. Or other ideas I can cook up, preaty creative if not a bit forgetful 😅

Hello! I'm shai, nice to meet you! I am a busy student and artist, who hasn't played in a while. I am looking for an online game that runs any day for now but I do have work. That schedule is current for the next two months, but then after that, I am not available Wednesdays or Fridays   I am very very new. I say this because I've only played two homebrew campaigns, and even then I didn't quite get a good grasp on it.  Also, I didn't even know that there were so many different types of campaigns like Star Wars or Blade Runner, Insane. That sounds so cool. I'm pretty much down for any kind of campaign. I will probably just do a little bit of research before hand as I'm not familiar with too many!  I am looking forward to joining something!
