Hi! All told, I only have about a year of experience playing and GMing, and it's been a looong time, so I'm sure I'm quite rusty. My time zone is CST and my schedule is open. I have no strong preferences when it comes to frequency of sessions, system, or setting. Back when my friends and I actively played, I mostly GMed, using DnD 3.0/3.5, with a little Spycraft on the side. Even though that was years ago, I've never stopped thinking about RPGs, listening to actual play podcasts like The Adventure Zone and Acquisitions, Inc., reading random supplements and forum posts, and playing video games based on tabletop systems/adventures. I love backstory, lore, and worldbuilding and enjoy combat and dungeoncrawling, too. I remember my very first RPG session, when I was a kid, immediately opened my eyes to the creativity and improvisation that the format allows. All I'd done in our first battle was ready my weapon and lightly wound an unlucky bandit... while the far more experienced players of the group spent their first few turns positioning themselves technically, slinging buffs and debuffs, and throwing a tarp over the intimidating-as-hell bandit leader and then setting it ablaze with a torch. I was astounded; I knew I had to have more. The Discworld and Hitchhiker's Guide series of books are dear to me, though I'm down for nearly any fantastical story and setting (much like Pratchett and Adams themselves). Potentially relevant-to-tabletop video game series I've enjoyed are The Witcher, Knights of the Old Republic, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Elder Scrolls, Divinity, Baldur's Gate, Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Legend of Grimrock, and many more. I like to let other players choose their specializations first, so I can try to fill any gaps we have, then build the character's background and motivation from there. That way, everyone who really wants to play a specific role is happy and the group as a whole is well-rounded. Plus, it's just fun to mix things up from game to game, so I've never really had a favorite class, though I do enjoy playing support (gotta have a healer/medic!). If you have the patience to help me shake off the rust and adapt to your setting and system, I'll do as much or as little reading, roleplaying, and rolling as you need. Ugh, this is really starting to sound like a sales pitch, ha ha... sorry. I'll finish by simply saying that I'm excited to meet you and see what adventures you've got brewing!

TTZenith
Hello! My name is Zeni. I'm a writer and I've been playing tabletop games since 2010, starting with Adeptus Evangelion of all things. I like games that have a heavy focus on roleplay and character dynamics but I am also fond of crunch and strategy. I thoroughly enjoy puzzles and approaching game scenarios as a puzzle box to be investigated, toyed with, and strategized.  My favourite types of game genres are: urban fantasy, horror, and science fiction.  I don't mind adult themes coming up during games, I just ask that I'm given a CW of what to expect so I'm not blindsided. if I can be informed during chargen then even better (thank you in advance!) I'm based in Western Europe and operate on the GMT/BST. I'm not too fond of speaking on mic, though I can do it if need be. I'm available on both discord and teamspeak for games. I tend to prefer text as I can write faster than I can speak. I'm very comfortable in Foundry VTT and I have experience in Roll20. Otherwise I'm happy to play in the theatre of the mind.

I am more familiar with WoD lore (V20, V5, some Wraith but open to any WoD title) but also interested in trying out the 40k TTRPGs, and am looking for a game to join. Also willing to try out other games if you have something that fits the grimdark feel! I am inexperienced with TTRPGs overall but willing to learn. Would prefer a semi-serious group to play with as I don't love when things get too wildly goofy. Personal horror, general horror, grimdark are all perfect with me and would prefer a scarier type game. No triggers, only caveat is I'd like to be treated fairly as appropriate in-universe as a female player. Adult content is fine but I'm not interested in ERP. Game would have to run somewhere within these times as I can carve out a time (work from home): 10:00AM-4:00PM Mountain Time Tuesday-Saturday

I'll write a bit about me very soon. But since this is going live now, breifly -  I'd love to find a Sheffield-based game (and from summer I will be looking to run some games).  And I'd be very happy to play a bit of online too (especially an Alien RPG campaign, something I've looking  to play for for a while, and DCC Lankhmar).  I love roleplaying-focused games. Not so interested in mighty heroic games. Enjoy games where we're all in it together and probably all going down together, unless by the skin our teeth...

MxKit
Hello! My name is Kit, they/them pronouns; I'm a 38-year-old TTRPG enthusiast looking to branch out and get to play some games other than D&D for a change! I've been roleplaying for about 20 years, and while I'm brand new to some of the games I'm looking for, I've gotten be in a few Monster of the Week games over the past few years. I'd always love to play more of that, as well as some of the lesser-known, harder-to-find stuff out there! And also Call of Cthulhu. Call of Cthulhu is pretty good too. :D I'm more into the role-playing parts than the roll-playing parts, but I love some good dice rolls making things higher-stakes and tense, too. I love to make fun characters (which are not always optimized and who do not always make the optimal choices!), and I looove character interactions between PCs and being a huge fan of my fellow players' characters! Right now I'm especially excited for Vaesen and Kult: Divinity Lost; if you're looking to play those, too -- or MOTW, I'm seriously always looking for that -- feel free to reach out and get in touch!
