My RPG obsession started when my dad got me into D&D aged five. I've been playing and running ever since. My most recent focus has been designing and running OSR games, but I'd love to get back into the player's seat. I've been captivated by the progression fantasy subgenre lately and am interested in exploring its roleplaying potential. My politics are solidly left-leaning, and I'm thoroughly uninterested in playing with conservatives or bigots of any kind. Likewise for those who use AI content in their gaming. Looking forward to adventuring together!

Frau_Elster
Hi there! I'm Frau Elster, 34, located in Hanover, Germany.  I have been playing TTRPGs for roughly a year now. It became quite a hyperfixation and thanks to a local open club I've gotten the chance to test some systems and get an idea of what I enjoy in this game. At the moment I really enjoy Daggerheart but I am open to other systems. Ideally, of course, the group vibes and gets along. That's a wish of mine but of course can't be forced. I tend to enjoy smaller groups up to 4, sometimes 5, on a bi-weekly schedule in the evening. I love creating complex characters with a few defining moments already having happened to them to help flesh them out. It didn't happen yet but I'd love to experience what it's like to have a ongoing campaign that weaves in the characters' backgrounds. Usually I have a concept in mind before I create a character and then read through _a lot_ of materials and sources to find the build and world-related backgrounds that fit. For example: My last character (for dagger heart) was a werewolf ranger who became a guerrila fighter because she feels like a advocat on agency and freedom of choice. For DnD, I am in the midst of creating a tabaxi stardruid whose base idea was that she looks like a black jaguar and has the constellations map right there in the spots of her fur. Or I knew I wanted a gnome raised by ice giants who draws her magic from the aurora and can hit really hard and now I have several tabs open haha I enjoy good atmospheric horror and am actually thinking about hosting The Magnus Archive TTRPG. But that's a project for the future.  Coming from a theatre background I love roleplay and the chaotic rule of cool being applied more than dungeon crawling, rule crunching and min/max-ing. Social encounters and exploration are big to me. Do you know that one friend who needs to check every question mark in a video game? Yeah that's me (and is also a reason why I love Breath of the Wild. Exploring was very much rewarded in this game.) As a GM I love putting in puzzles but that is always a hit or miss with me as a player.  In general I would say I am a bit of a chaotic player who enjoys discussing concepts, impulsive decision making and creative brainstorming with the others. It would be important to me that the players share the spotlight and know how to communicate constructively and mindfully.

Let’s go on an adventure together! I'm looking for a cooperative, consent-based, story-focused TTRPG table. I enjoy character-driven games with party relationships, meaningful combat, exploration, mystery, downtime, and earned emotional moments. Ideal balance: about 50% roleplay, 30% combat, 20% exploration. I like sincere games with humor, but not constant bits, edgelord behavior, or main character syndrome. I fit best with players who share spotlight, cooperate, respect boundaries, and care about everyone’s character mattering. Consent and safety are important to me. Heavy themes, PvP, romance/flirting, sexual content, intense character conflict, or major effects on another PC should be discussed first. Lines and veils should be respected. I’m in Hawaiʻi Time / UTC-10. Weekends are best, and I prefer 2–3 hour sessions. I’m open to voice, PBP, or hybrid formats. Not a good fit for bigotry, disruptive rules-lawyering, non-cooperative play, unconsented PvP/romance/sexual content, trauma dumping, or using RPGs as therapy. Message me on Discord; I’m more responsive there. Please say you saw my Groupfinder post and send a short game pitch. Discord: goldaline

I'm a real-life ranger (hunter) and father to three awesome kids. My family and I love games of all kinds. I love narrative games. I'm more into developing my characters than optimizing for battles. I can play online or in person. I end up playing more online nowadays, but I prefer in person. I currently run two other games, once per month each, so I can only commit to playing in a monthly game, at this point. I'm looking forward making great stories and rolling the dice with you!

Hey, I'm Night, 21, and been playing and running TTRPGS for 8 years now ,with half a thousand sessions ran, and a few dozen played. Though playing has crawled out of my comfort zone, I'd like to try playing more! As both a DM and player I like fostering  character roleplay, especially creating *interesting dynamics* between PCs and elevating the energy of the RP. I am also a mad theorizer, so if your campaigns include mysteries or investigations, prepare for thousands of wildly inaccurate theories. And for me to discard the only correct one I would be really interested in trying other systems, but would also be glad to play DND

Matthias
Hello,  I've been playing D&D and other TTRPGs for about 20 years starting with D&D 3.5e. I played 4e for a few years and then played 5th Edition when it released and have played it many times since. I worked at a D&D summer camp for 4 years as a councelor and GM for kids ages 8-13 playing 3.5e for the first year and 5e for the last 3. I have also run many one shots and short adventures for my friends. Because of a combination of getting bored of the system and not liking the business practices of Hasbro and Wizards I stopped playing D&D 5e last year and I'm looking to learn some new systems. I've run a couple one shots in Cyberpunk Red and Tenra Bansho Zero and ran a short campaing for my friends in a homebrew system of my own loosely based on the webseries Epithet Erased, but other than that have been a D&D forever GM for most of my life. I'm excited to learn new games and hopefully meet some new wonderful people. Thanks for reading all this and I hope you have a great day! Sincerely -Matthias

Damic
Hello! I'm Dami, a 35 y/o Argentinian who loves storytelling and doodling. I've been playing TTRPGs for over a decade now but mostly as a DM and now I'm really looking forward to be a player. A year or so ago my group of friends kinda disbanded 'cause we are all adults with lifes and finding a time where all of us are available is been tricky. If I had to describe myself as a player I would say that I like the 60% roleplaying and 40% combat distribution. I love to get to know the different characters and NPCs and dig into the lore of the world and I also enjoy puzzles.  Whenever I'm playing I lean more towards support / enabler characters or healers, but I always try to come to a middle point between what I envission and what the party needs. I'm currently looking to join a game on Sundays with a friend!

Hello, my name is Abigail She/Her. Im looking for a RPG group I've played in a few campagins and oneshots. My last long term camgaign was in Pathfinder, it went on for 4 or 5 years before coming to an end. Although my experiance is in Pathfinder i have also dipped my toes into other systems like DND 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Lancer, Monster of the Week and some others that I cant remember, so needless to say I am open to learning new systems.

Hello, I'm relatively new to D&D or TTRPGs in general (I've played one Homebrew Fear and Hunger campaign and a One Piece homebrew campaign) but I really do love playing! I prefer homebrew campaigns but would also love playing a normal D&D campaign. Also, my timezone is GMT+2

Hi all! I'm Nick a 35 year old man who has been playing D&D since 3.5. Looking for some casual tables since I am currently going back to school. Also very open to trying new systems. A hard no for me is toxic behavior at the table. I try to be accepting of people and expect that from others. I have been a GM in the past but going through GM burnout at the moment. If I do agree to GM there are ground rules like no main character syndromes and no edgelords (I hate murderhobo campaigns). Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Fair warning I have no set days off at the moment but that could change with the right group.

Hey.  I'm not-lola.  I'm a mid-thirties australian roleplayer who's been rolling dice and acting characters and creating worlds and all that jazz for a real long time.  This hobby is kinda wild.  You can have some real good times, and some real bad times.  You can be bored out of your mind or on the absolute edge of your seat.  It all depends on the people at the table, the story that's being created, the creativity and energy that is being brought to bear. I like high emotion, high roleplaying, smart storytelling, expansive worlds and unexpected outcomes.  I've got a weakness for red spaceships, last stands, and extending trust against all the odds. My strength as a roleplayer is conveying character identity.  For whatever reason the people I create tend to inspire some kind of emotion in other people, which tends to be good as it makes people care, even if it's caring about making sure that someone gets punched in the face.  My weakness is memory.  I don't hugely remember what i've done, which makes me double back, meander, over-emphasize or forget to follow through on something I set up earlier.  This tends to make me a stronger player than a GM but I still run games and people still show up for them, so i'm probably doing something right.

33M, EST time zone I enjoy engaging with themes of "no good guys", moderate to extreme horror and flawed but earnest characters. I love roleplaying and usually build sheets to reflect a character concept or personality instead of optimized stats. I'm not interested in NSFW roleplay but I will engage with NSFW themes if they fit the game setting. I'm happy to tailor my character concepts and degree of gory detail to whatever the rest of the table is comfortable with. Most of my roleplay experience has been text based or play by post, but I've also played and helped run several campaigns both online and in person that lasted anywhere from months to 2+ years. I have a learning disability that makes math and learning new rulesets difficult (dyscalculia) but I do my best to compensate for it through cheat sheets and reference cards I make for myself. It's a me problem but a little patience while I learn is greatly appreciated. World of Darkness is the setting I have the most experience with, particularly Mage20, Vampire20, and the By Night Studios LARP system. I have a general understanding of WH40K and have read some of the ttrpg sourcebooks but my play experience is limited to some of the video games and a few novels (Rogue Trader, Darktide, Mechanicus, the Night Lords trilogy, Infinite and the Divine). I am tentatively open to systems not specifically tagged but would prefer to avoid DnD (any edition), Daggerheart, Fate, and Apocalypse World/PbtA. Other non-ttrpg favorites include Destiny/Destiny 2, Mistborn, splatterpunk fiction, the Cthulhu mythos, and Murderbot Diaries. I am generally available between 5 to 10pm American EST on Mondays and Wednesday-Friday but there is some variability on Fridays, as I run my own game on that day once or twice a month.
