Hi there! I'm Frau Elster, 33, located in Hanover, Germany. I have been playing TTRPGs for roughly a year now. It became quite an hyperfixation and thanks to a local open club I've gotten the chance to test some systems and get an idea of what I enjoy in this game. Ideally, of course, the group vibes and gets along. That's a wish of mine but of course can't be forced. I tend to enjoy smaller groups up to 4, sometimes 5, on a bi-weekly schedule in the evening. I love creating complex characters with a few defining moments already having happened to them to help flesh them out. It didn't happen yet but I'd love to experience what it's like to have a ongoing campaign that weaves in the characters' backgrounds. Usually I have a concept in mind before I create a character and then read through _a lot_ of materials and sources to find the build and world-related backgrounds that fit. For example: I am in the midst of creating a tabaxi stardruid whose base idea was that she looks like a black jaguar and has the constellations map right there in the spots of her fur. Or I knew I wanted a gnome raised by ice giants who draws her magic from the aurora and can hit really hard and now I have several tabs open haha I enjoy good atmospheric horror and am actually thinking about hosting The Magnus Archive TTRPG. But that's a project for the future. Coming from a theatre background I love roleplay and the chaotic rule of cool being applied more than dungeon crawling, rule crunching and min/max-ing. Social encounters and exploration are big to me. Do you know that one friend who needs to check every question mark in a video game? Yeah that's me (and is also a reason why I love Breath of the Wild. Exploring was very much rewarded in this game.) As a GM I love putting in puzzles but that is always a hit or miss with me as a player. In general I would say I am a bit of a chaotic player who enjoys discussing and brainstorming with the others.

Hi all! I'm Nick a 35 year old man who has been playing D&D since 3.5. Looking for some casual tables since I am currently going back to school. Also very open to trying new systems. A hard no for me is toxic behavior at the table. I try to be accepting of people and expect that from others. I have been a GM in the past but going through GM burnout at the moment. If I do agree to GM there are ground rules like no main character syndromes and no edgelords (I hate murderhobo campaigns). Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

33M, EST time zone I enjoy engaging with themes of "no good guys", moderate to extreme horror and flawed but earnest characters. I love roleplaying and usually build sheets to reflect a character concept or personality instead of optimized stats. I'm not interested in NSFW roleplay but I will engage with NSFW themes if they fit the game setting. I'm happy to tailor my character concepts and degree of gory detail to whatever the rest of the table is comfortable with. Most of my roleplay experience has been text based or play by post, but I've also played and helped run several campaigns both online and in person that lasted anywhere from months to 2+ years. I have a learning disability that makes math and learning new rulesets difficult (dyscalculia) but I do my best to compensate for it through cheat sheets and reference cards I make for myself. It's a me problem but a little patience while I learn is greatly appreciated. World of Darkness is the setting I have the most experience with, particularly Mage20, Vampire20, and the By Night Studios LARP system. I have a general understanding of WH40K and have read some of the ttrpg sourcebooks but my play experience is limited to some of the video games and a few novels (Rogue Trader, Darktide, Mechanicus, the Night Lords trilogy, Infinite and the Divine). I am tentatively open to systems not specifically tagged but would prefer to avoid DnD (any edition), Daggerheart, Fate, and Apocalypse World/PbtA. Other non-ttrpg favorites include Destiny/Destiny 2, Mistborn, splatterpunk fiction, the Cthulhu mythos, and Murderbot Diaries. I am generally available between 5 to 10pm American EST on Mondays and Wednesday-Friday but there is some variability on Fridays, as I run my own game on that day once or twice a month.

I run an online D&D game atm, but would like to play in person, maybe something not d&d. I've played tons of RPGs over the years, and introduced my wife to the hobby, would like to play different sorts of games with different groups and styles just to do something different.

Hello there! I'm Gris (she/her), I started playing TTRPGs as a kid, and got really into them in 2012 with Pathfinder 1e. Since then I've played a lot of systems and GMd my fair share, but what I like the most are the narrative driven ones with fun, creative people, like Blades in the Dark. I also recently got into Solo RPGs, but I do miss the interacting with people and the back and forth of a group. Life is busy and chaotic, and as many of you might have experienced, scheduling is the greatest monster for any game. Which is why I am looking for a game or community of other imaginative people to play, talk games, scenarios, and other nerd topics. I am a parent, so ideally people +30 years old, LGBTQ+ friendly, and with a passion for sci-fi and fantasy, books, and creative endeavours. I lean towards a narrative-first playstyle: I love weaving characters into the party’s story and leaning into the lore. And I'm a flexible support player, happy to fill in roles that help the group shine. My last long term camgaign was in Pathfinder, it went on for 4 or 5 years before coming to an end. Although my experiance is in Pathfinder i have also dipped my toes into other systems like DND 5e, Pathfinder 2e, Lancer, Monster of the Week and some others that I cant remember, so needless to say I am open to learning new systems.

Hi, I've been a long term roleplayer since the 1980's (yep im old!). No played face to face for about 5-10 yrs. I knew early that I can't GM to save my life, however many times I tried. It was just no fun all round. I have played many various types of TTRPG's over my 40yrs of playing RPGs, from D&D to Cyberpunk 2020, GURPS & Judge Dredd. I enjoy light-hearted gaming, as making character based decisions & not being the magnificent unbeatablle hero is the most fun for me. I do play more serious games & campaigns. But tense horror is my least favourite. I AM NEW TO ONLINE TTRPG. This is where I feel the newbie patience may be required. I know the basics of MS Teams. I am willing to spend time learning whatever chat system the group is using, before playing. Many thanks for your time if you have read this far.

Hi, I'm an adult in San Diego, CA looking to find like minded folks to play table top games with. I'm not locked into a system - people, vibes, and having a good time mean more to me than mechanics. Open to in-person or online gaming. I have kids, so working around family schedule is a consideration. Generally, I lean to more narrative gaming than combat oriented. A combat map + hours to resolve combat is a turn off to me. I've played a long 5e campain in the past (over a year with weekly online / Discord meetups), but i am not so interested in most 5e anymore. I've run some short Mothership 0e and Mork Borg campaigns as well as a number of one shots in other systems.
