Hello, my name is Threydan and i am looking for a game for me and my friend to join. I am 22 and my friend is 24. We have both played a good understanding of the rules and have some experience under our belt (my friend more than me). We were hoping to find a game that is both serious but also light hearted. In other words: we wanna take the game serious, but we also wanna have the space to goof off and do silly things. In terms of combat/roleplay we hope for around a 50/50. 60/40 or 40/60 works for us too. We hope to join a new campaign, but are okay with one that has been going for a few sessions. We both have characters in mind we wanna play, not fully fledged out though as we would still wanna make sure our characters fit the setting and party. My friend is planning on playing a sorcerer and i'm planning on playing a wizard. Hello people of the internet. My name is Roman, and I'm a fun loving person who knows a good amount about DnD. I have been playing this game for about 15 years and I usually play as a Druid. I have no problems playing with new people to the game, and in-fact I quite enjoy the new ideas they come up with. I don't have much experience as a game master, but if the game master so wishes it; I can help new people in-between sessions learn the rules that the game master wants us too know. I might be a bit quirky when I meet new people, but that typically goes away pretty quickly and I become pretty easy too talk to. At the moment I am in-between jobs, however I am financially stable and am just looking for a fun experience with possible future friends.

Hello I'd be interested in joining a group if possible. I am available Mon-sun starting at 7pm est except wed. I rarely miss sessions and if I think there's even a possibility, I would give a heads up. I don't mind if it's already ongoing as long as it's not to far in. I enjoy character bonding as a group and as individuals and my favorite thing about DND is creating backstories. Though he's in hiding since he's constantly getting in there way of business to ruin it. I also try to get everyone involved if I notice someone having trouble getting involved. Hey! I'm Juxu (M19) looking for a group to play DND with for the first time. I have, however, read the Player’s Handbook and watched DND campaigns, so I know most of the basics as well as some more advanced rules, and I am familiar with the different classes, subclasses, etc. I’m mostly available on weekends or during GMT-3 weekday afternoons. It would be very unlikely for me to not show up at the session! I enjoy the roleplay aspects of DND, the big character moments, exploration and lore, the political intrigue and how the player actions influence the world. I particularly like when details of a character's background are used in the campaign and are a big focus of the story--if, of course, everyone at the table is getting included and also has their big moments. I do note I have nothing against combat. Exploring creepy ruins and fighting big bads across a detailed world would also be very enjoyable. A character idea I had, for example, was that of a Lorwyn Changeling - Ranger (Swarmkeeper); Druid (Circle of Spores) - that has a colony of sentient spores that wants to spread their hive-mind, just to give an example of what I might conjure up! Though I would always make sure the GM is fine with the character concept and backstory, and I have no problem adjusting. Thanks for reading.

hi, i'm a 32 M hankering to play and explore the D&D world with a group, or it can just be a DM if you would like to do 1:1's, it's fine with me. a backstory i'm working on for a character i've been trying to write: parents were killed during a sack at a ward in Waterdeep left as an orphan but bounty hunting guild at city's outskirts took him in raised under the tutelage of the guild leader, trained personally grew up as a merc-for-hire, doing contracts like, find missing persons, steal target items, assassination (he is picky on targets he accepts), but has a strict moral code, no stealing from those who cant afford it, no killing of children/innocents/civilians so, questions that might be asked are: who were his parents, really? was the sack a conspiracy covering up a brewing geopolitical turmoil? why did the guild leader take him in? if anyone knows of any communities, discord servers, anything for me to join to join, I'd love your recommendations!

Started playing D&D in 2020 and I'm finally giving DM'ing a try. Looking for five or six players that are going to start at Level 3 in Eberron, (still my favorite setting after playing in a wild campaign for or a year and a half.) I work in film and TV, so story is the big thing for me and I’m looking for people who enjoy getting into character, following clues, solving puzzles and slowly unraveling a larger mystery and not just fighting all night. There will still be plenty of action, usually at least two combat encounters per session. Experience matters less to me than creativity, reliability and being supportive of everyone at the table. I am a 22 M who is relatively new to dnd. I've only played a Star Wars campaign with my brothers in law (and BG3 but that probably doesn't count), so I'd definitely consider myself a noob. I'm also a college student, so my scheduling may be a little unpredictable (particularly in the start of the fall while I'm figuring out a routine), but once I get a routine in I'd likely be able to work with it. I also own tabletop simulator on steam. My favorite classes are warlocks, rogues, and fighters (and I want to eventually try a barbarian), so those classes or some combination would probably be what I'd end up playing. However, I currently have a folk horror undead sorlock in the mind vault that I'm the most antsy to try out.

I'm Tomb, a (technically) 6 year DND player (on and off and with a lot of "rule of cool" tables so not a veteran) looking for a game for Sunday Nights usually starting around 8 EST (though my schedule will probably open soon!) Im a storyteller at heart, with a big focus on worldbuilding, lore, and character driven narratives. I like getting into the depths of the worlds history and seeing what makes it tick while playing with harsh backstories that loom like shadows over the players, but I tend to shy away from GrimDark, I like some hope with my whump please! None of that means I don't like combat though, combat plays a really important part in a lot of stories and can be interesting in their own right! I do know a lot of the rules for DND 5e, I've been watching actual plays long enough to have picked up on the rules, but I prefer Homebrew over RAW and Rule of Cool over Rules Lawyering I'm a huge fan of actual plays, namely Campaign 2 of critical role, Dimension 20s Misfits and Magic, A Court of Fey and Flowers, and The Seven, a small one shot campaign called World's Apart, and the beginning half of Godsfall (before the cast imploded) Literature wise I'm an avid reader of high fantasy, Eragon being my favorite series, along with Harry Potter (fuck terfs), and a niche Midgrade series called Avalon: Web of Magic! Hi! I'm Tako, I'm 25, and I just graduated from university. I'm from Texas, and some of my biggest hobbies are anime, video games, baking, TTRPGs, history, and, of course, sleeping. I've been playing D&D for around 7... maybe 8 years now? It's honestly been so long that I've lost count, but it's become one of my favorite hobbies. As for quirks, I definitely have a few. I have ADHD and dyslexia, so I can be a little scatterbrained at times, but I promise I mean well! Dislikes are mostly the obvious stuff—people being mean or rude. I also have two very important food opinions: oatmeal raisin cookies are a crime, and pineapple absolutely does not belong on pizza (spawn of the devil). I also prefer to avoid politics entirely, and I'm not a fan of AI being used for character references or story writing. One fun fact about me is that I can make tiramisu completely from scratch, which I'm pretty proud of! My favorite animal is the lion. When it comes to D&D, I absolutely love melee characters. There's just something satisfying about charging into the thick of a fight. That said, I'm trying to branch out and play more spellcasters to expand my comfort zone. No matter what I play, though, I tend to enjoy characters who serve as a light in the darkness—people who try to inspire hope even when everything seems bleak. Used chain sickles and had a pet dragon named Mustang. Couldn't handle alcohol or women trying to talk with her. (Lawful good). John Doe - A street rat abandoned in the slums of Baldurs Gate because of his half human, half elf heritage. With neither race accepting the other half of him, he struggled on his own to survive as a boy after his mother passed. An orphan with not even a name to his being, he became notorious among the gangs of the gate for both his tenacity and thieving abilities. Eventually forming his own gang with help from a close friend he had made after they were busted on a job together. His elven raw magical talent but lack of training made his magic shape in a peculiar way. Turning him into a soul knife rogue who would eventually find himself knocking on Strahds doorstep. Was the party leader for a curse of strahd game. Was somewhere between a reckless but respectable older brother and that cool but weird uncle. (Neutral good). Sinphony - A downloaded consciousness in a sci-fi world, Sin was a research robot tasked with stopping a galaxy wide plague. Body built by an A.I his people worshipped, Sin was once a human who's being was uploaded into the great ARK shortly before his death. From the transfer not much of himself came with him except flashes of a past he cant quite make out and his scientific acumen. Now he is the science officer for a ship headed to deep space. The main doctor in charge of experimentations and quarantine on the galactic illness. Generally played as a CDC disease specialist and pretended to be more of a robot then he was. A mostly kind being though one willing to make sacrifices to stop the spread of the galactic plague. (Neutral good).

Hi there! I'm a mature player looking for a game with people who love the comraderie of roleplay. I enjoy a game that is heavy RP balanced with combat, problem solving, political intrigue, travel, survival or whatever aspects the GM wants to put our merry band up against. I'm in your world now. I love homebrews and I'm looking for a sandbox game with an experienced GM who understands and values player agency. Play Style: I'm serious about having fun. I'm low maintenance and I fit well into most groups that are focused on the campaign at hand. I'm a stickler about showing up on time to every session. I put a good effort into making my characters as much for for the GM and other players are they are for me. I'm not much of a min/maxer. I don't know the powerful builds as I tend to add to my characters in a manner consistent with their back story. I write modest back stories and try to include multiple hooks that the GM might choose to use somewhere along the road. I prefer to see a good story or interesting outcome rather than fuss over rules. I tend to get in character and stay in character for an entire session. Don't ask me for a character concept until I have some understanding of the campaign lore. I like to create characters that feel part of the world. Themes: I'm less interested in horror, more interested in high fantasy settings. Experience: I was first introduced to DnD5e online at the front end of the pandemic and have played multiple games since then. I have GMed homebrews in 5e on several occasions, but my first choice now and forever is to participate as a member of the party. I prefer Foundry VTT, but I have participated in past games using Roll20 and DndBeyond. I have fairly in depth knowlege of the inner workings of FVTTv12/13. I have my own Foundry server currently running v14 with no particular end in mind. Prefered Times: I'm in Ontario Canada (UTC-4) and would prefer games that were afternoons or evenings local time. North American games or evening UK/EU games can fit my schedule nicely. I'm available any day except Thu and Sat. My ideal schedule would be a weekly game of at least 3-4 hours.
