Hi, I'm Patchwork. I'm a 20-something geek who enjoys spending his time on various TTRPGs. My previous group fell apart due to scheduling issues, as most do, so I'm here looking for something new! I'm mostly into the roleplaying aspect of tabletop games, I enjoy immersing myself in whatever character and world I'm put into, and bouncing off party hijinks! I usually put a lot of effort and a decent amount of writing into my characters and their backstories, but I usually do that as a creative writing exercise, and never expect a DM to know it front-to-back (I always put a summarization/TL;DR first). But if you do, all the better! In terms of systems and experience with VTTs, you can already see what systems I've looked into/played, and I've gamed a bunch in Roll20 and Foundry, so I'll have no issues navigating either of those VTTs. But if you have something new, I'm always willing to learn! As for the kind of games I'm looking for, I've been playing Fantasy for quite a long time now, and I'm hoping to get into some Sci-fi settings, and trying out systems in that niche. But if you have a fantasy setting that's unique and interesting, I'm up for hearing about it, I might still be interested in playing! Thanks for reading, and hopefully we can share a table sometime!

Hi all! I'm looking mostly for D&D 5e right now, but I will not turn down a Shadowrun 5e group that would be so kind as to allow me a crumb of Forbidden Arcana (shock mage and chain breaker specifically, elf shaman go brr) I have a specific character in mind I long to play, with a comprehensice (but not novella length) backstory I'm happy to edit to fit into your world lore. My name is Cain (he/they), and I'm a 21+ long term ttrpg player. My very first was Shadowrun 5e in college, then D&D 5e, and so on. I've played Savage Worlds, Monster of the Week, Fabula Ultima, Stars Without Number, several World of Darkness and PbtA games, and have dabbled in V:tM lore enough to be interested in the future. I also helped playtest a friend's system called Dieselpunk, thought I'm unsure if that ever finished getting published. Kids on Brooms was fun too. Greetings wanderer, if you are looking for some one who can do Matt Mercer npc voices you got the wrong guy. Nontheless Iess I will try to play out a character true its nature. What I enjoy are dungoen crawls, and exploration adventuers that are player driven. I prefer playing RAW rather than a bunsh of house rules but what I like to see most is the game moving forward, so I'll take a quick gm ruling over finding out the actual rules anytime. I'd rather roll up a new character than save an existing one. I think that's it - Nat20s, dear reader and so forth ...

I am just a simple forever GM from the US. I have around 10 years worth of GMing experience from a vast variety of system. Hi, I'm Plero 35F - but leaning more on the NB side. I'm UK based and looking for a Tuesday or Thursday game. Experience: I've played two d&d campaigns (pathfinder and dragonlance), and I'm currently playing in two VTM chronicles. I've also played the majority of CRPGs so I understand different mechanics well. What I enjoy: I like the social aspect, connection, and character and plot development. I love narrative, RP and combat. I've got a lot of respect for GMs and STs and the effort they put in. Types of characters I've enjoyed playing: Blind half-orc shaman, Moonfolk sorcerer with musical interest, tremere and malkavian kindred. I'm currently interested in playing a swashbuckler/rogue chaotic neutral character with a heavy background, but I don't mind adapting to something that fits the party.

ABOUT ME I've been hosting regular games with great success since 1993 back when I started DMing at my 7th grade school lunch table full of friends.. I remember recruiting players out of The Red Dragon Inn on AOL for impromptu instant messenger Dragonlance games back in the day. I am 44 years old now and I have never really NOT been a DM of a D&D group pretty much my entire life. I am a forever DM and I've been doing it on Roll20 for over 7 years now! As a community service I admin some of the largest dungeon master help groups on facebook. I still know how to use THAC0. In my opinion, 3.5 is NOT the greatest edition. I've even written a few award winning dmsguild modules that are making their rounds and have recently released my first Shadowrun adventure on DrivethruRPG. I'm ultimately a chill dude. When not doing the D&D thing I'm a rock n roll union musician who has donated 20 years of life towards helping out schools with computer network issues. Greetings, I am looking to hopefully scratch my ttrpg itch and enjoy some good storytelling and roleplay with other people. I am familiar with a variety of game systems and am happy to learn new ones; I just ask you be patient while learning the game. My biggest area of expertise is D&D but I have played Pathfinder 1e for a few years; though I still feel a bit like a newbie when it comes to the game itself. I have a few character concepts and am usually available in the evenings; I also love to create characters with good motivations and even plot hooks if they are wanted/needed. I hope to find some amazing games with some equally amazing people. (PS, I tend to play as a mage of some form.)

I’ve been gaming a long time. By 15 (in 1995) I was a Games Rep, running demos at conventions. I love TTRPGs, whether player or GM. I just want a table that actually plays. System-wise, I like indie and old-school games, with enough crunch that every character and build feels mechanically unique and satisfying. That said, I’ll play narrative systems too. I care less about the label and more about whether the game does what it claims it does. Tone-wise, I think the best games have a healthy mix of insane hilarity, fantastical impossibility, and the horrors of reality. Just enough to make it feel real before it gets unreal. If it’s all comedy, it’s weightless. If it’s all grim, it’s depressing. I want the mix, on purpose. I’m a professional fiction writer with decades of experience. At the table, this means good improvisation skills and idea generation, as well as a good sense of story hooks and structure. If you’re creative and you communicate, we’ll get on great! One-shots, arcs, or campaigns. GM or player.

I've been playing RPGs for over 30 years but with a few specific group so I'm listing myself as a newbie to intermediate. I have mostly been a GM so I'm looking to be a player. I'm disabled so I'm usually free for most any day and prefer a set time frame so I can schedule my life (married with dependents) around the game.

Looking to try to get into D&D again. Since my divorce I lost my game group and looking to get back into it. Would prefer to play in-person. I live in the Waterbury/Bristol, CT area. I am not opposed to online play, but my previous attempt to do online play...ended with miscommunication drama and left a bad taste. I have extreme social anxiety, but once I am comfortable with the group, I have a 45 year life time of gaming in my repertoire. I only really know D&D 2014, and have very little desire to learn 2024 (i have not heard much good about it). I played Shadowrun 4E for a hot second as well, but would need a complete refresher. I am available basically any time and any day of the week, as long as I have a few days advanced notice. Gaming experience: Started in 1992 with Battletech and BECMI Dungeons and Dragons, but I've played a little bit of everything from Roll for Shoes and Knave to Shadowrun and Riddle of Steel. I heavily prefer simulationist styles of games, but I'm flexible depending on the adventure concept. My favorite games are Lancer, Shadowrun, 7th Sea 1e, and Tenra Bansho Zero. I'm homebrew friendly and enjoy playtesting new games. Currently I am only playing online, and my availability is mostly limited to weekday evenings. I will not join a group that makes use of 'AI' generated artwork or media of any kind.

I have been playing ttrpgs for the past 33 years, mostly as a DM/GM and am looking to spend more time as a player. As a Maker, I enjoy characters that are also into creating things be it spells, magic items, programs, businesses, etc... A well balanced game that covers all three pillars of game play are my favorite style, but doesn't have to be equal in all measures (you can have more combat vs exploration if you like, but I need some exploration) I try to get along with others and not steal the spotlight

I am a guy from the Central South of the United States who is looking for Primarily a Pathfinder 1e game on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday evenings and isn't afraid of using non-srd material. That said, I'd also be interested in 5e, Shadowrun 4e, Wrath and Glory, and other similar systems. I mostly play Paladins, Clerics, Barbarians, and Warlocks in the games I play, and more recently I wanted to switch things up when it comes to pathfinder, since I'm not used to spellcasting in the game and I wanted to ease into it with a Warpriest or even go full War Wizard. That said, I do want to try out an archer build someday aswell. For my playstyle, I generally adapt to the game itself, although I like a balance of combat/crunch and roleplay. My method for learning games is to create a character concept, to then build a backstory, finish the build guide for myself, and finally to then flesh out the backstory for the character, trying to be as lore accurate as I can be with the information I can find. I do work a day job, and I play music on the side, so while I would love to accept every game invite, I simply cannot join every table. Hopefully I find a game that will let me play the weird, wacky, and interesting characters I have cooked up. God bless y'all and I hope you have a great day!
