Welcome to Quant, a sprawling, multicultural megatropolis built upon the skeletal remains of a forgotten deity. Existing at the exact crossroads of the multiverse, Quant is a free city that connects every plane of existence. For two centuries, the planar portals have been perfectly stable. But crossing them is a deadly gamble. For those not blessed with your gift, stepping into the chaotic energy of the Rift between space and time can mean horrific mutilation, massive time-jumps or - if you're lucky - death. Fortunately, you are Riftborn, blessed with the ability to traverse the planes - highly sought after by the rich and powerful. And on this most glorious of days, you have returned to Quant, for business, pleasure or maybe a bit of both.
