Brotherhood of the Dice is a group of friends who get together to play tabletop RPGs, mostly leaning into horror with a sprinkling of fantasy and sci-fi. We run games like Call of Cthulhu, Mothership, The Dee Sanction, Dead of Night, Electric State, Pirate Borg, Dragonbane, and Outgunned, throwing in the occasional curveball with something more quirky like Land of Eem when we feel like changing things up. As most of our games lean heavily into horror, they tend to favour a serious tone, but when things go off the rails, chaos and hilarity are never far behind. Which is just part of the fun. The Story Four years post gap, Absalom Station is failing. After The Awakening, societal upheaval began to fracture the station, culminating with the shattering of the Eye. Now three years later, resources are becoming scarce and those who remain are starting to get desperate. Not only have gangs been growing rapidly, but strange creatures and monsters have begun appearing all over the station. Residents form small communities to try to weather the increasingly post-apocalyptic landscape they find themselves in. In an abandoned neighborhood in the Arms, a small community of survivors huddle awake in a commandeered community center in the dead of the night. Tipped off that a local gang’s arrival is imminent, the center’s newest (level 0) members are tasked to defend their new home. Our crew of survivors must level-up and find a way to survive and thrive in their new post gap reality.

ICVTT (Index Card Virtual Tabletop) is a free, browser-based virtual tabletop built around radical simplicity: no settings menus, no macros, no built-in chat, and no tutorials - just a map, tokens, and dice. It began life as Runehammer VTT, built by Runehammer Games to run their own Index Card RPG (ICRPG) and WAR|MAKER, before being reworked into a community-maintained project in 2022 and renamed ICVTT.  Though it was purpose-built with ICRPG in mind, it works with virtually any tabletop system since it doesn't impose rules or character sheets on anything.

It offers distinct styles—including Parchment, Watercolor, and High Fantasy—that allow GMs to match their maps to the tone of their campaign. While it was once seen primarily as a world and regional map tool, the 2.0 update dramatically improved its battlemap capabilities, bringing it into direct competition with specialized tools like Dungeondraft. It is a subscription based service, but the sheer volume of its asset library (over 30,000 stamps) makes it a favorite for GMs who want an endless variety of visual options. Users can now group assets, lock specific layers to prevent accidental movement, and apply transparency or blend modes to entire groups. Every layer can now have its own mask, allowing you to "paint" terrain or transparency with pixel accuracy. Massive 30K+ Asset Library The paid tiers grant access to an enormous catalog of high definition stamps. From elven architecture and dwarven machinery to sci fi terminals and eldritch horrors, the library is updated weekly, ensuring that GMs always have new visuals to inspire their world building. 8K and 16K Exporting Inkarnate is famous for its high resolution output. The Creator tier allows for 8K exports, while the 2026 Studio tier supports beta 16K exporting. This level of detail is perfect for GMs who print their maps or use high resolution 4K monitors for their virtual tabletop sessions. The Inkarnate Marketplace New for 2026, the Marketplace allows professional cartographers and artists to sell custom asset packs and map templates directly within the platform. This has expanded the "Inkarnate Look" far beyond its original art style, offering community driven variety for niche genres like Cyberpunk or Steampunk.
