I have had no issues in the group. I can't exactly say to much on the games and dm's as I haven't actually played a game yet.

Fantastic group, and I'm not saying that just because I'm in it. Every group I've played with and run for has been excellent, and the variety of games on offer is staggering. Players, GMs, streaming, all top quality.

Rules-light
Kids on Brooms is a tabletop roleplaying game about young witches and wizards at a magic school, written by Jonathan Gilmour, Doug Levandowski and Spenser Starke, with art by Heather Vaughan, and published by Renegade Game Studios. It was announced in May 2020 as a 100-page full-colour softcover for two to six players aged 12 and up, with a release planned for August 2020, and it is powered by the Kids on Bikes engine. The system directly evolved from Kids on Bikes, the same designers' small-town mystery game. Description Players take on students at a school of magic, where strict instructors, mythical creatures and the school's own secrets make for mystery and danger. The Game Master (GM) and players design the school together, and the book includes rules for wands, potions and other magical items, and for riding brooms. Because the game is built on the Kids on Bikes framework, it is rules-light and narrative-first, and it suits groups who want a story-driven game with a young cast. The game asks a table to invent the school and its history together, and to accept that the characters are students and not experts.

World Anvil

Worldbuilding

World Anvil is the largest and most feature-rich world-building and campaign management platform. Launched in 2017, it has evolved into a massive "All-in-One" suite that combines a wiki-style lore presentation, interactive mapping tools, and software for novel writing. While it is known for a steeper learning curve than rivals like Obsidian, it is unmatched in its ability to present a "public-facing" version of your world. In late 2025 and early 2026, the platform underwent a major "Athena" UI overhaul, introducing the Articles & World Manager and Quick-Inline Creation, which significantly streamlined the speed of entering new lore. Description It is built to organize, display, and even sell your world. The platform provides hyper-specialized templates (e.g., Traditions, Military Units, Flora/Fauna) that prompt you to fill in details you might otherwise overlook. In March 2026, World Anvil introduced a significant Dashboard Upgrade, allowing users to drag, drop, and hide widgets to create a personalized "writing cockpit." While the sheer number of buttons can be intimidating for beginners, its ability to manage secrets, interactive maps, and professional-grade manuscripts in one place is currently unrivaled. System Overview & Key Features The Athena 2.0 Dashboard (March 2026 Update) The newly released dashboard customization allows you to tailor your entry point. You can now pin "Recently Edited" articles, word count goals, or community prompts as modular widgets. This update effectively turned the homepage into a personalized HUD for your creative workflow, cutting down the "where do I click?" frustration of previous versions. Advanced Article Management A new "Article Management" tab was added in early 2026, allowing for the creation and editing of articles on the fly without leaving your current category view. This "focus mode" is a godsend for large-scale projects where you need to spin up ten minor NPCs or locations at once without losing your place in the world-tree. Interactive "Deep-Link" Mapping World Anvil’s map system remains its "killer app." You can place pins that link to other articles, and as of 2026, it supports multi-layering for vertical dungeons and "Region-Hiding." This allows you to show players the town square while keeping the "Thieves' Guild Basement" layer hidden behind a private subscriber permission. System-Specific Statblocks Beyond just text, World Anvil hosts thousands of community-made statblocks. Recent 2026 additions include a dedicated Cult Worksheet for Call of Cthulhu 7e and adversary blocks for the Cosmere RPG, allowing GMs to integrate mechanical data directly into their narrative articles. Manuscripts and Novel Writing The "Manuscripts" module is a full-featured writing suite that sits alongside your wiki. It allows you to drag world-building "secrets" directly into your writing notes. As of March 2026, co-owners of a world now have shared access to manuscripts, making it a viable tool for professional co-authors and writing teams. The Worldbuilding "Social Media" Unique to World Anvil is its social ecosystem. The "Global Feed" allows you to follow other creators, participate in monthly "Worldbuilding Showdowns," and compete for the annual Worldbuilding Awards. It’s less of a tool and more of a global "Writing Room" for the hobby. Session Forge

Session Forge

Generators
Session Forge is an offline game master toolkit for fantasy tabletop RPGs, made by Donald Stelling of Digital Underground. Instead of another long PDF, it is a single HTML hub that the GM opens in a web browser and uses at the table to prepare and run sessions. It holds 14 tools: encounters, NPCs, loot, initiative, session notes, dungeons, taverns, quests, rumors, villains, weather and travel, settlements, a one-click one-shot outline, and a short GM playbook. Tools for running the table - Encounter Forge builds fights on an XP budget set by party level, party size and difficulty (Easy to Deadly). Each encounter comes with a motive and a twist, and the creatures are drawn from 198 original 5e-style stat lines. - Initiative Tracker handles HP, AC, conditions, group adds and d20 rolls. Rounds and turn order save automatically, so combat survives closing the browser. Fights made in Encounter Forge can be sent straight into the tracker. - Session Notes saves as the GM types, offers random sparks for quick ideas, and keeps a full archive that can be restored. - GM Playbook explains how to use the tools live without slowing the game down. Generators - Full Session: a one-click one-shot outline with a hook, NPCs, a villain, a journey, two fights, a site, treasure and a twist. - NPC Generator: 8 naming cultures, plus role, voice, quirk, secret and adventure hook, and a "crowd of six" mode. - Loot Tables: common to very rare items, plus gems, art objects and 64 curses. - Taverns & Shops: taverns and shops with priced wares. - Dungeon Builder: dungeons of 3 to 12 rooms, with a boss scaled to the party. - Quest Hooks, Villain Forge and Settlements. - Rumor Mill: rumors with a GM-only truth rating. - Weather & Travel: 6 climates and 4 seasons. On every generator, the GM can lock a line and reroll the rest, go back through a saved history of the last 20 rolls, copy results as text or Markdown, download them as .md or .txt, and send them to Session Notes in one click. Seeds are repeatable, so the same seed always gives the same result. How it works The GM downloads a ZIP, opens index.html and bookmarks it for game night. After that one download, Session Forge runs fully offline with no account. Data is saved in the browser, and the home page has backup and restore. It works in a browser on desktop and on mobile. Systems and fit The stats are 5e-flavored so they feel familiar, and the content is easy to reskin for OSR games, Pathfinder or homebrew settings. All generator content is original; it is not a dump of official rulebook text. Session Forge suits GMs running 5e-compatible fantasy, one-shots and west-marches campaigns, and GMs who improvise and need ideas fast. It is not a virtual tabletop plugin: it runs locally in the browser and does not connect to Foundry VTT or Roll20. Price and license Session Forge is a one-time purchase from CAD$14.99 (pay what you want above that) on Gumroad. The license is personal, single-GM use. Version 2 raised the toolkit from 6 tools to 14, and earlier buyers get v2 free by downloading again; their v1 saves carry over.
