D&D Beyond

Greetings adventurer! My name is Vaughn, and after years of playing D&D, I have decided to try DMing my own D&D campaign. I will be running The Lost Mine of Phandelver adventure module under mostly 2024 rules, besides some minor house rules listed below. My table is for adults 18+ and games are free to play. This campaign will take place in the high magic, high fantasy Forgotten Realms continent of Faerûn. I am looking for players willing and able to commit to a 6-10 month long campaign. Whether you’re a D&D pro or a total beginner, everyone is welcome to apply at my table! I am all for players asking to invoke the rule of cool to do epic things, but just remember that the DM has the final say. Maintaining a safe, respectful, comfortable and inclusive environment for everyone at the table is my top priority. This table is beginner and LGBTQIA+ friendly. Don't be a jerk or a killjoy to me or other players. Please be a respectful, kind and encouraging team player!           We will play one session a month online using Discord and Foundry VTT. It will almost always be the second Saturday of the month, unless we have to cancel. In that case, we will try rescheduling it for Saturday the following week. Each game session, besides session 0, will start at 7PM CT and will be roughly 4 hours of game time, not including a 15-minute break around the middle. I will try to be on Discord half an hour before each session if you want to talk about the game or just socialize. All players need a computer, a modern web browser (Google Chrome is recommended), a stable internet connection and a decent camera/ microphone. We will also be using Google Drive for file sharing. Do not metagame by reading the LMoP module or look up enemy stat blocks. I will stop accepting player applications when I have enough to form a balanced party, so don’t wait! All applicants will be notified by email if they are accepted or not. Session 0 should be sometime in the last week of April, and the first session is on Saturday, May 9th.            Your D&D/ TTRPG experience level is not factored into the application selection process. The most important things that players can do is to be personally invested, be willing to have fun, be creative and practice teamwork. Over the course of the LMoP module, I will be using full-color virtual battle maps with ambient music and sound effects on Foundry VTT. A fillable PDF character sheet and an example will be shared with the group over Google Drive. Each player must download, fill out and upload their character sheet at least 24 hours before the start of the game. Going forward, players must update and reupload their character sheet when they level up. Between sessions, over Discord, players will decide amongst themselves which character most deserves to be awarded heroic inspiration for the next game. Looking to start a group, I have very little experience as a GM but am willing to try if we can get some people together and no one else wants to. Right now the nearest game to me is over 100 miles away so I'm hoping there are others in my area looking for a game like myself. New to the area so I do t really know anyone and none of my classmates or coworkers have an interest. :/ please reach out if you are nearby and interested. No Pathfinder but I'm down for most others.

Female DM with 5+ years experience looking for 2-3 more players who love to roleplay, delve deep into lore and backstories, and get a kick out of scheming, plotting and exploiting a homebrew open world in a long term weekly DND campaign. In a world where corporations vie over powerful resources, the gods have fallen silent and every choice has consequences - the party finds themselves in Fracture, a lawless, violent land, that will make or break them. A violent airship crash has left them out of work and out of pocket, thankfully, there are plenty of opportunities here to make a few gold as long as you can keep from getting shot long enough. While we have already begun the adventure, it is not too late to join! We have a barbarian, an artificer and a bard/lock, but we're happy for any class to join the crew. $20/session  6:30pm - 9:30pm AEST (9:30am BST) 2024 rules with a few homebrew ones thrown in the mix, open to exceptions and edits. Starting at level 3 Any class or species (except Spelljammer), open to homebrew requests. All backstories will be integrated into the world and story, with each character getting a chance to explore them.
