Welcome to a tale in the land of Barovia!

There are no stars, only heroes! Welcome! We will be running a long-term hybrid homebrew 5e D&D campaign and writing project which will eventually be published online weekly called Pinnacle (stylized ?innacle), with two available slots open! Our five-person group is tight-knit and we are hoping for friends rather than casual players that leave right after sessions. It will be strictly done on Discord in text format Monday or Tuesday evenings from 7:30 PM - 10 PM EST. It will also be a collaborative effort, with an emphasis on player participation in both world-building and consequent lore. The campaign will be split into alternating arcs: one taking place in the past and one in the present!  We have a compendium, timeline and calendar with some guidelines on the in-game universe constructed so far along with a few requirements for applying: - Must be 25+, LGBTQIA+ inclusive  - Lives on U.S. East Coast - No use of AI tolerated - Be very comfortable with improvisation and collaboration - Engaged and committed to the experience through participation beyond during sessions - Experienced in and leans towards a more RP-heavy style - Extensive reading comprehension skills - Previous D&D experience (not a dealbreaker) - Lean towards more cerebral/thought provoking themes and clues  Perks will include tons of art of your character, printed books, shirts and more! We will be asking for a filled out form for a potential character in the campaign. To be considered, you must integrate official lore or your application will be disregarded. The more creative, the better!  Please consider the following too when creating this character:   - In a meta-sense, they will be regarded in present part of the campaign as a legendary hero in the campaign-titular guild Pinnacle. - The environment is resource-scarce due to desertification and has led to intense competitiveness and individuality. Well-knit communities not based on economic drive are rare. - The party currently consists of a tiefling bard, human cleric, half sea-genasi/half sea-elf paladin and a high-elf sorcerer. Do not try to min-max or optimize your role for the team as it’s all about the story. - Lore comes first so do not worry about stats or a character sheet yet! Upon advancing, we will be holding an additional phase where we will be doing a one-shot campaign to see how you mesh with the other players in the group and the DM style. The world of Phelun is an old one that has seen many conflicts throughout its history. While times seem peaceful, beneath the surface there are whisperings of the Dragon Queen stirring within her prison, strange events occurring upon the continent of Ines, and adventure awaiting upon the lost continent of Asoris. I'm running an extended Wild Beyond the Witchlight campaign for a group of 5-6 players. Come join in on the carnival festivities of the Witchlight and enjoy the spendor of the fantastical whimsy it entails. However, not all is as it seems within the carnival, as dark forces from the Feywild lurk in the shadows of the Witchlight. Join us on an epic quest through the carnival and across the greater Feywild as you uncover a twisted conspiracy to lift the curse of the carnival and save the greater Fey realm of Prismeer.  with one of the members of our campaign had to leave due to work conflicts, I'm opening it up for one (or two) more players to join our party. We play every Monday at 7:30 pm EST. Would love to have you join our next game on October 12th. It is a short turnaround time, but this is more because our players just arrived at the Witchlight Carnival, and I would want you new people to join in on the shenanigans and games of that. So far the group consists of - a warforged wizard - a harengon bard - a fairy druid - and a changling rogue WHO ARE YOU: I am looking for other people new to DND, or at the very least beginners who want to try their hand at a longer module and dive deeper into the mechanics and lore. Respect for fellow players is expected, and bigotry, harassment, or hate speech will not be tolerated. WHO AM I? As your (not so) humble dm, I will want to reach out and get to know your ideas for your potential characters and what you’re looking for in a campaign. I try to make things as balanced as I can, but I would say this campaign is going to be 60% exploration and 40% combat.
