Description

[FREE] [FoundryVTT] [Sundays (2 on/2 off) - 4:30PM PST] Hello Adventurers! We’re a long-standing group of friends who have played together for a while, and we’re hoping to bring in someone who enjoys collaborative storytelling, friendly character drama, roleplay, political intrigue, and heroic fantasy. One of our current players is a woman, and we’d especially love to find another woman who would feel comfortable joining the table and adding her creative voice to the group! My wife used to play with us, but her job hours have caused her to no longer be available, sadly. The campaign itself centers around a powerful noble family whose world is turned upside down by betrayal and political upheaval, forcing them to navigate shifting alliances, dangerous rivals, and the question of what justice really looks like when those in power control the narrative. The world and campaign are entirely homebrew, meaning you won't find this anywhere else, and the world around you will shift and change due to your decisions! This is a long-term, character-focused campaign with an emphasis on collaborative storytelling and roleplay - though combat and exploration are still definitely present! What to Expect from this Campaign: - Roleplay and character relationships - Political fantasy and noble-house drama - Collaborative worldbuilding - Emotional stakes and difficult choices - A balance of story, exploration, and combat - Playing on FoundryVTT with music, visuals, and effects - Using Discord with a microphone and webcam (if and when you are comfortable doing so) We play two Sundays off, two Sundays on. Our next session is this Sunday, May 31. This will be session zero, and we will be covering character concepts, rules, and collaborative story elements. The following session will be on June 21, then June 28 - just to give insight into our rotating schedule. If you are a woman who is in search of a friendly and fun group and is interested in learning more, please feel free to comment or message me!

Curse of Strahd - Gothic Horror - Daggerheart

Paid game
The Game Master charges a fee to run the game.
Horror
The game leans into fear, tension and dark themes.
Barovia is a valley trapped in magical mist—cut off from the world and ruled by a mysterious immortal known only as Strahd, a name whispered in fearful tones by those who remember the old legends. When you cross the mist’s threshold, the land responds to you, amplifying your hopes and fears in ways you can feel. You’ll walk through villages clinging to strange traditions, encounter ancient spirits offering cryptic warnings, and sense the mist itself watching. This is a Daggerheart adventure where you unravel Strahd’s curse, discover who he truly is, and decide what kind of heroes you will become in a land that refuses to let anyone leave. What to expect: 🩸 Non-linear gameplay: Choose your own path and tackle quests in any order. 🩸 Active villain: Strahd is always watching, manipulating, and shaping the story. 🩸 Difficult choices: Barovia is filled with flawed people, conflicting loyalties, and situations where doing the right thing isn't always obvious. 🩸 Survival in a cursed land: Barovia is bleak and isolated, where safety is scarce and even small victories matter. Tuesdays at 7:30pm EDT What is included: 🗺️ Custom animated maps & visual aids 🎵 Curated campaign soundtrack 📝 Campaign wiki with lore, characters & discoveries 📔 Dedicated campaign note-taking tools 📚 Access to the core digital & suppliment rulebooks ✅ Campaign rules, expectations & custom content You can read the primer here to get a good direction on how to design your character. This is a paid game of $35 + SPG Service Fees per a player per a session. It can be found here on SPG. Easy to jump in midway through. You will have access to the all the notes and trascripts to be able to catch up. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions.

The Wyrd of the West

Adult
The table is for players who are 18 or over.
Hi there. I’m based in the UK and potentially wanting to get a game started in either Daggerheart or DnD 5E (2014) to take place on Saturday evenings. Currently, I can’t lock in the exact schedule, but I’m thinking of it being for two consecutive Saturdays, followed by two Saturdays off each month. The time would likely be around 6-10PM UK time. A big part of this is me wanting to expand my social circle and to make some good friendships that aren’t just limited to time spent in TTRPGs. For the game itself, I’m leaning towards Daggerheart as something a bit more Rule of Cool-oriented, but this would be my first time with it. If people are good with that, and either new to the system themselves or patient for me to get fully to grips with running it, then we’ll lock that in. I’m very experienced with 5e 2014, but want to expand my repertoire a bit. The setting is a big mix of genres, but primarily Wild West with a lot of spooky and fantastical weirdness. I’d describe it as Weird West/ Gothic/ Horror/ Jazz Age/ Fantasy in a homebrew world. Characters may do things like uncover eldritch cults in the bayou, go on the trail of monsters out in the forests, and duel with undead gunslingers and the like. There are currently no big overarching plans such as a BBEG or end-goal, and I see the campaign being more about having fairly separate arcs and chapters that will have some links to each other, but that could all change based on player input. I want the players to tell me what sort of goals they want their characters to accomplish in the world. Although the setting doesn’t take itself too seriously, I want characters to be capable of being serious as well as being fun. Currently, I’d like the campaign to go for a few months, maybe about a year (which should take players from levels 1 to 10). What I’m looking for: - Enthusiastic and collaborative players, both with the party but also myself, letting me know what next big thing they want to do so I can properly put things in place to make it the best I can - Players interested in RP and creating a great story together where everyone has their moments to shine. I’m not looking for players who want to powergame or murderhobo, especially as the campaign would be broadly good-aligned - Players interested in the worldbuilding side of the hobby. I’m currently focusing on fleshing out the setting more than a grand overarching story, but I’d really like players to contribute to the setting - Reliable scheduling. I’m happy to occasionally run games with a couple of players missing, but mostly I’d like the whole party Once people are locked in to the campaign, we will have a proper session zero and go over safety tools. To clarify, there is no cost associated with this game. What you’ll need: Discord Mic and speakers for communication Roll 20 A Demiplane account (needed for Daggerheart)

Greek-myth campaign for Daggerheart

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
"Five years ago, a thousand ships answered Agamemnon's call and departed Greece to bring about Ilium's ruin. The greatest heroes, the mightiest weapons, and the most mythical stories are somewhere else.  You are among who remains.  I am Homer, and I will sing of you, amongst Other Names." Set in a fabled Age of Rhapsody — paying homage to the Bronze Age, Greek tragedy and comedy, and classical myth — Echoes of Fate is a homebrew Campaign Frame for Daggerheart exploring lies and prophecies, the making of myths, and what it costs to break destiny. You are not the hero the epic was written for. No prophecy names you. No Muse has claimed your story...yet. So what do you make of a life the songs haven't told yet? If you are a fan of myth retellings such as EPIC: the Musical, A Thousand Ships, The Song of Achilles, come sit by the fire. Some notes on the setting: •  The gods are present but distracted — drawing their eye may bring you greatness, or ruin. Or maybe you'll be drawn to the Mysteries instead? •  No prophecy protects you: your choices ripple outward, and could alter canon myths and even the course of the war itself. •  All stories are welcome, this table is LGBTQ+ friendly. •  New to tabletop, Daggerheart, or Greek myth? This table is beginner-friendly. And no Classics degree required, just curiosity. EU-friendly hours (evenings except weekends where I can do mornings or early afternoons) or US- friendly (late afternoons/early evening). Sessions can be weekly or bi-weekly through StartPlaying.com, at 20$ per session. About me: - I've been a Dungeon Master for almost 8 years and I have plenty of experience in guiding new players. I prefer Theater of the Mind with minimal VTT support. - Your story will matter and I love a long, narrative background I can weave into the main story. - I do character voices!  - I also do character artworks :D Safety tools: Session 0, Lines and Veils, Consent checklist and X cards. I prefer to be honest in advance: Echoes of Fate draws from real life in addition to myth. Slavery was present in Ancient Greece, as was mysogyny, war and violence. You will be able to challenge these in-game through your character, or ask me to avoid mentioning them and I will do my best to do so.
