Description

Welcome to The Western Frontier, adventurer! You've joined the best of the best here at SINC, CA! Saints of Interplanar Navigational Charters, Chalmers Acolytes. I'll be your Operations Overseer, Mr. Sullivan. We're on the fringe of the Imperium's reach here in Port Chalmers, so while you may be wanted or otherwise watched back home, here I don't care what your crimes were - Only that you do the job you've signed up for. And that job is to explore, document, make connections with the locals, and get into places you probably shouldn't be! Danger? Adventure? Relics, artifacts and ruins?? Strange beasts and plants?? Oh, it's out there, adventurer.. And the longer you wait, the more you miss out on! --------- The Setting: - The Western Frontier is a West Marches style of D&D! - We are largely based in Australia/NZ, and as such we play at times convenient for us! - We have somewhere between 13-16 active players, most have two currently active PC's! - Our experience with this style of D&D and with D&D as a whole varies! - Session scheduling and game direction is driven largely by players! This is an open world sandbox style of game! Game Info: - We use variant rules long/short resting. Short rests are now 8 hours (overnight), long rests take a week of downtime back in The Town, or another fortified position. (Settlements, Inns, camps - places with structures for you to sleep in and an armed guard/watch). - Resources matter! Spell components, ammo, carry weight, and rations are all tracked! Character Creation: - No twilight cleric and no variant humans. All PC's begin with a free feat and a non-combat uncommon item. - We use Discord for voice/text chat, Owlbear Rodeo for battle maps, & D&D Beyond/google sheets for character sheets. - Homebrew must be approved by a GM. Players: - 18+ people only! Firm on this, sorry gang! We range in age from about 19 to the late thirties! - LGBT+ folk expressly welcome! - No bigots, -ias or -isms, thank you! - All experience levels welcome, we're learning to run and play this style of game too, so we don't mind teaching you on the way! - Interested? Might be the game for you? Get in touch! Message me with: - A little about you! *Age, exp with d&d, timezone and typical times/days you'd play at/during (scheduling reasons) - A rough character idea! - Things you think you'd be interested in doing as a player! - Your discord username! - Times and days that'd work for you for a quick call so that we can vibe check each other!

[5e, 2014][18+][LGBTQ+] Looking for 1-2 players for a messy, romantic, Sex-and-the-City-style mini-campaign in Baldur's Gate 🐴✨ Hey everyone! I’m looking to run a super casual, very RP-heavy mini-campaign (around 4-5 sessions) for 1 or 2 players, on Discord voice & Roll20. If you love high fantasy, messy situationships, and treating D&D like a dating sim where actions actually have consequences, this is exactly your aesthetic. The Vibe: Basically, I want to run Sex and the City but set in the sprawling, chaotic streets of Baldur’s Gate. The main quest isn't about slaying a dragon; it’s about finding love, getting laid, and going to tavern brunches to debrief about bad dates. There will be a few encounters, but it'll be 60-70% RP. We’re going for a tone that is casual, funny and NSFW. I want the emotional beats and the romance to feel genuine, even if the premise is a bit chaotic. The Plot / Your Character: Here’s the lore: You (or you and a co-player) were a totally normal human until a wild magical mishap permanently turned you into a centaur. The cognitive dissonance is real. From the waist up, you are totally human with your normal sensibilities, anxieties, and need for actual romance. But from the waist down, you’re dealing with a new, massive body and some intense, hypersexuality that you are absolutely not used to. Baldur’s Gate is a massive, metropolitan city, but centaurs are highkey rare. Being a newly transformed one makes dating incredibly awkward. Plus, let's just address the elephant in the room: logistical challenges. Centaur anatomy means size actually matters, and finding an NPC whose, um, equipment can actually accommodate you (or vice versa)—and who isn't a walking red flag—is tough out here. Who I’m looking for: *  18+ only, obviously. There will be explicit NSFW scenes and themes. *  Everyone is welcome, LGBTQ+, but the campaign is definitely geared toward players who vibe with deep-dive character interactions, romance tropes, and "girl talk" energy. *  If you’re the type of player who loves making moodboards for your character's outfits, analyzing NPC texts (or sending letters via familiar), and trauma-dumping to the local bartender, we will get along perfectly. Logistics & Timing * Thursdays, 11pm CST * Discord for voice and Roll20 for maps If this sounds like your exact brand of brainrot, shoot me a DM or a chat! Tell me a bit about yourself, your pronouns, sexual preferences, and your absolute favorite romance/smut trope. Let's make some bad decisions in Faerûn lmao.

Hello. We are a group of D&D players and DMs that have been together for 8 years. We recently had some members move away, so we are looking for more players. We occasionally change DMs, so no forever DMs here. We tend to focus more on roleplay than combat. We are open to other TTRPG systems or tabletop games in general. We are currently running a hombrew campaign in 5e.

Hello everyone, Alex here! I am a new GM on Start Playing, and I am looking for players for my mini campaign. I am hoping to become a full-time GM and figured this was the best way to start. A bit about me: I've been a GM for 7 years. I am an artist, illustrator, animator, voice actor, and writer. And I absolutely love roleplaying!  Game Premise: In the world of Anangnibi (pronounced Ah-nahng-nee-bee) there looms a threat to the local towns and villages outside of a major port city called Agonan Mizhakwad (pronounced Ah-goh-nahn Meez-hahk-wahd). Reports of attacks have become more frequent and many have claimed to see a flying creature up within the mountains. Maps indicate that there is an old fort that has been empty for quite some time in the area. The local authorities have put up a reward for heroes to go and investigate the area and find out what has been happening. You as the heroes will find yourselves walking into the mountains to find the old hold, and once you get there, you'll find out that you have gotten far more than you bargained for. Who, or what, awaits within the halls of old abandoned stone? And will you survive the secrets within? Or will you be claimed by death much the same as those of the poor raided villages? Death lurks here, cold and indifferent like the sitting stone. You will need your strength and wit if you want to survive. So be prepared to face the challenges and discover the mystery of what hides within the mountain stone. Game Price: $25 per person  Session count: 1-3 sessions Session length: 4-5 hours Player Character Level: 5 System: D&D 5E Sourcebooks accepted: PHB 14, XGE, TCE, VGM (Other sourcebooks are open to discussion) Homebrew and 3rd Party: Open to discussion More information and details about the game can be found here on the Start Playing post: https://startplaying.games/adventure/cmt21mabu0037l404tjn7c32u?ref=cmrmikhi800frl704k6ca84nl  Content warning: While I am a newbie player friendly DM/GM, the game I am running is a DEADLY game with a DEADLY dungeon; your characters have a high chance of dying. Please keep that in mind for this game. If you are not okay with character death, this may not be the game for you.  If you have any additional questions, please feel free to message me, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.  You can also get some more general information about me as a GM, as well as read previous player reviews through my Start Playing GM Profile here:  https://startplaying.games/gm/alexthedmpanda Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
