Description

Ash and Salt — A D&D Campaign A dark fantasy nautical adventure set in the world of Acaridian. The seas are dying. Once protected by the mercy of forgotten gods, the oceans of Thaloruun have become a graveyard of storms, ash, pirates, monsters, and ancient horrors rising from beneath the waves. Across shattered islands and cursed waters, powerful pirate lords wage war over relics, runic power, and the fate of the Weave itself. Players begin in the thriving port city of Thalaris, home of the Grand Maelstrom Unity Guild — a massive alliance of bounty hunters, traders, explorers, mercenaries, and rune scholars. From there, the campaign expands into a vast oceanic world filled with eldritch mysteries, legendary sea beasts, fallen angels, undead fleets, ancient ruins, and rival factions battling for control of the seas. Ash and Salt focuses heavily on: Exploration and nautical adventure Rich worldbuilding and deep lore Dangerous factions and pirate politics High fantasy mixed with cosmic horror Meaningful character progression Homebrew runic magic and customization Large scale boss encounters and evolving threats Whether you become a feared pirate hunter, a cursed rune bearer, a relic seeker, or something far worse, the seas of Acaridian remember every choice. The Rune System Ash and Salt features a fully homebrew magic system known as the Rune System. Every creature is connected to the Weave, a vast network of magical threads tied to ambition, souls, concepts, and existence itself. Through this connection, characters may awaken unique Runes — magical powers ranging from elemental abilities like Fire, Water, and Storm, to reality-defying runes such as Chaos, Void, Creation, and Veil. Runes evolve alongside the player, granting: Passive enhancements Unique combat abilities Rune crafting and enchantment Custom evolutions and ascensions Rare legendary or exotic powers The system allows for heavy customization while remaining deeply tied to the lore and themes of the world. No two rune users are truly alike, and stronger runes can eventually influence reality itself. The Session Times: AEST UTC+10 Monday 10:30pm-2:30am Last note on the session times, try to have a flexible schedule as we tend to go past session time Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! have a great day adventurer.

Moth to a Flame — A D&D Campaign The first act of The Tales of Acaridian Wrath has ruptured amongst an elder reality, destroying everything and bleeding its corruption into ours. Acaridian is a simple world of fantasy but not at the mercy of its own chaos. We are set in the desert of Anibuah, a land of dune and scorching rays of heat and herds of vicious monsters, the land is threatened by orcs and elementals as the dragons slumber begins to break from chains beneath, a titan that must remain sealed and now our party is here in search for a lost relic, one which may prevent the titan from awakening, but first they must find the hall of judgement, where the elder god Judge had imprisoned Diablo the dragon titan of ages.. Moth to a Flame focuses heavily on: Exploration with rich worldbuilding, deep lore, high fantasy, cosmic horror and meaningful character progression. Evolving combats and boss encounters, as well as cosmic wonders and chances, the bigger the parties influence, the stronger the enemies. This campaign has a unique Homebrew Rune System, using charts to grant creatures runes based on words forming their own unique element with its own rarity and authority over other rune power. Runes is a massive concept for the Acaridian Series and is a great way to explore creativity. I use homebrew feats to impliment abilities and google docs for stats, its simple but it can be a little overwhelming at first, but trust me once your in the flow, its amazing. Important notes: We are LGBTQ+ friendly but we aren't sensitive friendly, if your not a fan of loudness, dark humor, etc, then i do not suggest you join our group Age span would prefer between 18-30 years old (Can make exceptions for older) I would prefer all members to have a flexible schedule for if we ever need to change dates, but mostly for when we decide to extend sessions We do NSFW themed roleplays and encounters, so if your not comfortable with that mixed with some dark fantasy, then please for your sake don't join haha Preferably be good at speaking english clearly And lastly, be able to operate dnd beyond, owlbear rodeo, and talk in call on discord The Session Times: AEST UTC+10 Saturday and Sunday 9:30am-1:30pm In CST time i believe thats 6:30pm-10:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post! have a great day adventurer.

Journey for the Azure Crown: An Epic D&D Adventure

The Azure Crown Tournament is the most prestigious and dangerous contest in all of Greyhawk, but before your party can even earn a place in the tournament, you'll need to make a name for yourselves. Explore the continent, delve into dungeons, take on dangerous contracts. Make allies and enemies. Build a reputation across Greyhawk and, eventually, prove that your party deserves to stand among the greatest adventurers in the realm. I'm currently putting together a brand-new group for a weekly, long-term D&D campaign, and I'm looking for up to 6 players. The Game • D&D 2024 / 5.5e • Weekly Thursdays • 7:00 PM AEST • ~3 hour sessions • Roll20 + Discord + D&D Beyond • $19.50 USD per session through StartPlaying • Session 0 is completely free • Beginner friendly • 18+ What to Expect This is a roleplay-heavy campaign set across Greyhawk, with plenty of exploration, mystery and combat along the way. I put a big emphasis on making your characters feel like they're actually part of the world. Your backstories, decisions, allies, enemies and ridiculous plans can all have lasting consequences. You can expect: • Character-driven storytelling and backstory integration • A world that reacts to your choices • Plenty of NPCs to befriend, antagonise, romance or accidentally ruin the lives of • Dynamic combat encounters rather than endless empty-room slugfests • High-quality maps, dynamic lighting, ambient music and other Roll20 goodies • A healthy dose of Rule of Cool • A welcoming table for both experienced and completely new players About Me Hey! I'm Cam. I've been playing D&D for around 5 years and DMing for about 3. Outside of running games, I make D&D videos as Rogue's Roll Call, so there's a chance you've seen one of my dumb D&D videos floating around TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. I've recently started running professional games through StartPlaying, where I currently have a full ongoing table playing this campaign. I'm now opening a new Thursday group for players who want to begin the adventure from the start. Session 0 is free, so you'll have a chance to create characters together and make sure the table feels right before paying for anything. Will your party become worthy of the Azure Crown? Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday A group decides on day & time Most people will probably play between 16:00 – 21:00 (GMT+0) It'll be played in a Discord voice chat "Theatre of the Mind" playstyle (means no VTT) My Discord (weebseatshit) *PREMISE* You are dragged into a dangerous encounter together with other unlucky ones. Now you are bonded whether you want it or not. Since you are a witness, some people want you dead, watch your back(s) & trust no one It's an RP-focused, Forgotten Realms based, homebrew campaign, with an emphasis on story & adventures Ratio: 40 Roleplay/40 Exploration/20 Combat Starting level is 1 Standard array for the abilities Milestone leveling The spells become cantrips, you can cast them without components or GP The spells cooldown is depending from their power level & the DM's will, but if a player is gonna spam the spells, i'll Elfen Lied him or put some shit like Leo Bonhart from Witcher  Some spells that affect game's balance & world, may be forbidden. It'll be discussed Instead of HP you have HPBars, & you don't know how big are your enemies HPB HPB are rather "cinematic". Depending from how much & what kind of damage you receive, i'll adjust your condition. But in general: 6 HPB: Sorcerer, Wizard 8 HPB: Bard, Cleric, Druid, Monk, Rogue, Warlock 10 HPB: Fighter, Paladin, Ranger 12 HPB: Barbarian Only these races are allowed: Human, Elf (Moon, Wood), Dwarf, Goliath, Tiefling (Purple, Pink, Blue), Tystling (a human with cat ears (& eyes)) Artificer & Psion aren't allowed I'll describe locations & looks with little to no detail Just like with the books, i'd prefer that every player imagined their own stuff (& because there may be an info that player may not get or just ignore) About the forbidden spells. As an example, this is only lvl 1 Wizard, but i hope you get an idea Instead of using ability checks or in-game tools, (acquiring unique items, talking to people, searching for clues, improvise) you just cast this spell & it does it Mending Charm Person Detect Magic Detect Poison and Disease Friends Unseen Servant Tasha's Hideous Laughter Sudden Awakening Sleep Sense Emotion Puppet Identify Id Insinuation Healing Elixir Disguise Self Comprehend Languages Cause Fear Ressurection & lethal spells A tystling is similar to a cat Monochrome darkvision Enhanced senses: smell, hearing, vision, touch & balance (+3 Dexterity, Perception, Acrobatics) Soft step: walking is almost noiseless (unless a tystling has something noisy on), running is slightly quieter comparing to other races (+4 Stealth) A tystling is shorter than an elf, but taller than a dwarf A tystling is slim like an elf, but lighter than an elf, with smaller muscles. That makes a tystling even more agile & dexterous than an elf, but it's very hard for a tystling to lift or carry medium heavy things (8 AC, -5 Strength, Athletics)
