Description

Hi my name is Speck and I’m looking for 1 more player that is age 21+ to join a campaign that has only played 1 session. I will be using foundry to DM. It’s a new system to me so there might be some hiccups. This will take place on Tuesdays at 1200 Pacific Time. It’s 5e and I’m allowing players to build their characters normally, but have to reskin to an animal type creature. So you would have to be a skunk, squirrel, mouse form. I did this for funsies so it’s very loose ruling. The current story idea is this and was initially a one shot, but now going to be a full fledged campaign after players wanted to continue. - The President has been captured! President Owlfred was last seen sleeping in his quarters until this morning. Many teams have been sent out to search far and wide and your team is designated to traverse through the sleepy hills and into the grove of mushies. The mushroom kingdom holds a rambunctious gang of beings that have been known to harass tradesmen and soldiers from a distance using their spores causing them to flee or worse, suffer maddening hallucinations. With the help of the red guard (your party) you are responsible for potentially finding President Owlfred and bringing him back to the democracy of critters. - The one session that was played left the party successfully finding and defending president owlfred. The remaining task is to figure out how to get out safely and find out why there is a blight amongst the kingdom of mushies. - either dm or reply below the following info. Name/Nickname: Experience: Character idea: (Name, Age, Race/critter type, Class (Subclass if you already know), background, personality) Feel free to link a photo if you like. What part of your character sounds fun to you?: Is there an issue with occasional guest?: Anything extra you wanna share:

Hey Everyone!  Me and my group are currently looking for Players to join our discord server for a long standing Campaign if possible! We are newer to D&D so we hope to find people that don't mind joining us! We want to create a community of 10+ people to run multiple campaigns later on, as of right now there are 6 members in our discord server so we hope to create a fun and engaging community where everyone can interact and have fun together! We are against paid sessions and believe everyone should be welcomed to join and just have fun in the community  Ideally we'd like to have 1 session a week and we can work out those details later but if we need to run 1 session every other week that's also ok!  For possible players We are a new community in discord so we want to make it a positive experience for everyone and have a much fun as possible! Backgrounds or other personal details don't really matter to us we want to be a open community and have a safe space for everyone to engage and just escape day to day grind life gives us and roll that NAT 20 to seduce the dragon (if that's what you're into 😂) but we also hope to just add more people and grow as a community and build relationships that will last a life time!  So if this is something you're interested in send me a message here or on Discord and I'd love to chat with you! Lastly as the Dm I run sessions on Saturdays but we do also try to find other days to play when possible times my vary so just let me know what time zone you're in since most of the players are in GMT time zones! Next I like to create my story around my PC and build moments for each PC and separate story lines created just for you! We do have a campaign going on so if you have any questions please ask away Discord: https://discord.gg/M9Qt78Wp

grounded: the helix organizations mistakes

The Helix Initiative was introduced to the public as a revolutionary leap in environmental adaptation, biological medicine, and survival science. Officially, the organization claimed it was developing new ways for humanity to survive ecological collapse, disease, and resource shortages. Behind closed doors, however, Helix operated hidden research divisions dedicated to experimentation far beyond legal or ethical limits. Somewhere deep within those divisions, a scientist identified in surviving records only as Dr. W██d████ T████ developed a machine capable of shrinking living organisms to less than an inch tall. The technology was presented internally as a breakthrough in resource efficiency and medical research—but many of the subjects brought into testing were children between the ages of eight and sixteen. Most never returned. You are one of the survivors. After undergoing the procedure, you awaken inside an ordinary city park that has become an impossible wilderness at your scale. Blades of grass tower like trees. Puddles become lakes capable of drowning entire groups. Ants patrol the dirt like armored soldiers, while spiders transform sections of the park into web-choked death zones. Every inch of terrain matters. Every storm is catastrophic. Survival depends on learning how to weaponize the environment itself—crafting tools and defenses from thorns, sap, insect shells, broken plastic, roots, and scavenged debris left behind by previous miniature civilizations that clearly did not survive for long. As you explore deeper into the park, you begin discovering abandoned outposts, collapsed shelters, and fragmented Helix logs detailing increasingly unstable experiments. The records reference attempts to create “evolutions chosen suvivors” capable of evolving beyond normal biological limits. Again and again, one phrase appears alongside heavily censored personnel files: MARROW SYNDROME. The disease slowly destroys the body in stages—first decaying bone tissue, then muscle structure, and finally flooding the lungs with blood. Somewhere among the corrupted files are hints that Dr. W██d████ T████ never joined Helix out of loyalty. Some logs imply he infiltrated the organization to expose its corruption, free the surviving test subjects, and continue researching a cure for a terminally ill child connected to the syndrome. Whether those rumors are true remains uncertain. Helix officially denies the existence of both the disease and the scientist. Not every strange thing in the park comes from Helix laboratories. Survivors occasionally encounter a bizarre figure known only as Rock—a hyper-muscular talking bee obsessed with shouting “MUSCLE” at every possible opportunity. Most groups dismiss him as insane until they realize he understands far more about the park than he should. One moment he acts like a reckless coach forcing terrified children to become stronger, and the next he casually references erased facilities, failed experiments, or “previous attempts” that nobody else remembers. Near the edges of abandoned Helix sectors, Rock sometimes becomes unusually quiet, staring into empty space before muttering warnings that sound less like jokes and more like genuine fear. HE IS WATCHING YOUR EVERY MOVE...

Looking for 2 players for an in-person D&D group

Roleplay focused

Hey everyone! 🎲 We’re looking for 2 more people, ages 18–30, to join a new in-person D&D campaign around Lakewood/Denver. We already have 2 players and we’re really hoping to find people who want more than just showing up for D&D. We’d love to build an actual friend group where we can also play board games, grab food, hang out, etc. So definitely friends first, D&D players second. The campaign is a long-term homebrew world called Soleil: 500 years ago, the Sun stopped moving. Civilization now survives in a narrow band of eternal twilight between a blazing desert and a frozen darkness. On the 500th anniversary of a massive yearly ceremony, four travelers leave the safety of The Line to discover what lies beyond the walls. It’ll be a mix of mystery, exploration, roleplay, combat, giant titan monsters, emotional story moments, and weird discoveries. ✨ We’re thinking: • In person around Lakewood/Denver • About every other week • Long-term campaign • D&D 2024 rules • Beginners welcome • We’d probably do a casual hangout or board game night first just to make sure everyone vibes before committing • Your character will have deep secret and background link to the world ! If you’re interested, send me a message and tell me a little about yourself, what you like about D&D, and what other games or hobbies you’re into!
