Six signs shall mark the hour. Six doors shall open. When the final verse is fulfilled, the borders between worlds will break—and the dead will inherit what remains. The wandering prophet Hyskosa foresaw a sequence of six terrible omens, each heralding the approach of the Grand Conjunction: a cataclysm capable of tearing apart the Domains of Dread and reshaping Ravenloft forever. The first signs have already begun. Across the Mists, ancient prisons weaken. Forgotten Darklords stir upon their thrones. Prophets speak in voices not their own, the dead rise bearing warnings, and unseen powers move their servants into place. Whether by fate, misfortune, or the designs of the Dark Powers, a small band of outsiders has become entangled in Hyskosa’s prophecy.
