Campfire embers are the last thing you remember. Whether you were traveling alone or guarding a merchant caravan, the wilderness suddenly went dead silent. Then came the masked attackers—too many, too coordinated, and overwhelmingly lethal. Your camp was slaughtered. But you? You were taken. You awaken in darkness, bound in heavy chains deep underground. If you ever want to feel the sun on your face again, you and your fellow captives must forge a desperate alliance, break free, and survive an escape that will spiral into a world-spanning epic. PRICE: $20 (through PayPal or Venmo) / Session —> Session 0 is free and the first official session is 50% off. The price is negotiable, but everyone at the table's gotta pay the same thing so it's fair.   I also offer "bundles" at a discounted rate. WHAT YOU GET: —> you get to embark on a full homebrew campaign spanning from levels 2 to high teens (possibly even level 20) campaign with personal character arcs tailored to your character’s backstories woven in with the overall narrative. —> there is also an artist in my server that will do a frww character portrait art for each new character in the server SCHEDULE: Sundays (weekly) starting at 10am PST. WHERE: the game will be played on Foundry VTT whith voice chat done through Discord. —> I have a new server for the purposes of hosting my games as well as creating a new D&D community SAFETY FIRST: A supportive environment is a priority. Players will fill out a quick RPG Comfort Questionnaire featuring a Lines & Veils section to ensure everyone has a safe, fantastic time at the virtual table. OTHER DETAILS: —> To perfectly fit the unique history and regions of Wysteria, your starting character must be a non-PHB (Player's Handbook) species. This only for your first character, —> we will be using the primarily the 2024 ruleset with some favored 2014 mechanics in addition to various homebrew rules that will be discussed at Session 0 Ready to see the sun again? Send a direct message to @acedespadas on Discord or directly here for to inquire for more. If you’re a great fit for the table, I’ll send over the lore primers and everything you need to start building your character! A BIT ABOUT ME: Hello, my name is Aron, I’m 34 and I started playing this game as the forever DM just before COVID hit and have been DMing multiple weekly games since. I am for the most part fairly introverted which this hobby has helped deal with, and while I may not do all the little funny voices (it’s a thing I’m working on) I’m a sucker for the Rule of Cool and a good story! And what better story then one you build together as a collaboration with other like minded individuals?! Outside of D&D my interests revolve heavily around music, movies, and other general nerd things

Whether you are a recruit, an adventurer seeking glory, a criminal serving your sentence, or a local hero, you have found yourself at Scalewatch a fortress-city standing against the horrors that crawl from Gnarltongue Hollow. With too few soldiers to defend the border, you and a mismatched band of survivors have been given a forgotten outpost of your own. Build it. Defend it. Make it a home. Hunt the Primals that escape the Hollow, protect the people of Eldorune, and venture into the jungle to document what lies beyond the border. But the Hollow does not give up its secrets easily. Most who enter never return. Scalewatch is the last great bastion between civilization and Gnarltongue Hollow, a vast and hostile jungle where strange creatures known as Primals emerge from the depths. With soldiers stretched thin and the border growing more dangerous by the day, you have been given an abandoned outpost and a simple order: hold the line. Build your bastion into something worth defending, protect the people of Eldorune, and hunt whatever makes it past the walls. But survival requires more than a strong sword arm. Study the Primals you encounter. Examine their bodies, behaviors, and strange adaptations. Document what you learn so others might survive the creatures you face tomorrow. Venture beyond the border into the Hollow itself, where every expedition brings new discoveries and new dangers. The deeper you go, the more questions you will find, and some answers may be better left buried. Set in the high-fantasy world of Ithyra, The Hollow Hungers takes a more grounded and gritty approach to fantasy, focusing on survival, monster hunting, exploration, and the harsh realities of the frontier. Resources matter. Wounds matter. Your bastion matters. Every expedition carries risks, and every decision can determine who makes it home. This campaign is for players who enjoy narrative-driven adventures, meaningful choices, monster hunting, exploration, and building something together. My style is heavily narrative and choice-focused. There is rarely one correct answer, and the world will respond to what you do. You will decide what threats to pursue, what discoveries to record, how your bastion develops, who you trust, and how far you are willing to venture into the Hollow. Build your home. Hold the border. Hunt the monsters. Uncover what lies within. Most who enter never return.
