Description

The year is 1933 and a dread has spread over Hastirapa - a small village deep inside the heart of India. There have been murmurings of fear - stranger sightings, horrible noises and missing people. Panic has gripped the minds of locals. What is true and what is panic induced delirium? Enter the village and find the truth! _______________________________________________________ So that's the pitch. The setting is India but there is no need to know about the specifics of the culture. It's just to change the setting and tone a bit! I'm a newcomer to the game system though I've ran other systems a few times so bear with me in rule implementations! 18+ only mostly because going for a more serious horror theme and there might be mature themes abound About the PCs- I have a few ideas what you can be - Investigators from a nearby town, a local that went away to work in a nearby town and is now travelling back, a friend of a Scholar that has gone missing or a Professor from a University that has been contacted. If you have any other ideas about the specific character you want to play then we'll work together to make sure your character fits in the world! The game will be a one-shot starting around GMT 7-8 pm on Monday 16th March and run for 3-4 hours and will be played over Discord Voice

Ever saw an X-Files episode and thought: "It would be so amazing, if I was an investigator in such a case." ? Well now you can! Come join me on a Call of Cthulhu ( 7e) police procedural adventure, with Ladybug Ladybug, Fly Away Home. We're presently looking for new players.  We've been running gaming sessions at a historic pub in Nottingham for the last 10 years. Right now, we're about halfway through a masks of nyarlathotep campaign.  If gaming, beer, insanity and cosmic horror that man was not meant to wot of are your thing, we have exactly what you need. Oh, and beer.

System: Vaesen Platform: Foundry VTT + Discord (voice) Time: BST. Wednesday 19:00. "In dark forests, beyond the mountains, by black lakes in hidden groves. At your doorstep. In the shadows, something stirs. Strange beings. Twisted creatures, lurking at the edge of vision. Watching. Waiting. Unseen by most, but not by you. You see them for what they really are. Vaesen." Vaesen presents a 19th century dark Gothic setting steeped in Nordic folklore and the old myths of Scandinavia. The game mechanics utilise an adapted version of the awardwinning Year Zero Engine and the best thing to liken it to is Call of Cthulhu but with a folkloric twist. Hello! My name is Mshary and I am looking to run a one-shot of this system in order to see whether this is a system I and my players from a different campaign want to continue with. I'm looking for up to 3 players and this is open to everyone! New players are especially welcome since I am new to the system myself and so may stumble a touch at first.  I am planning on running the starter adventure from the book "The Haunting of Castle Gyllencreutz" and that comes with a couple of pregens can choose from unless they wish to make their own characters. This acts as something akin to a prologue for joining the "Society" so it'll give us a taste of what's to come. What you can expect What you can expect from me is an experienced GM who has run a several long-term campaigns and many more oneshots and shorter games. The one line that best describes me as a GM is that I’m relaxed, friendly, and here to make sure everyone has a great time. My games are all about good vibes, fun, and group chemistry. I have a bit of an “older brother” style. Guiding things, hyping players up, and making sure everyone feels comfortable jumping in and having their moment. No one gets left on the sidelines. I am consistent and punctual. If for whatever reason something comes up and a game must be postponed, I will let you all know far in advance and try my best to accommodate an alternative game time. Final Words Thank you for taking the time to read all of that, if you are interested please fill in the following super short form: https://forms.gle/yWqWogMZvdD2A85P9
