It is 2010 CE, and the world outside your window is infinitely more terrifying than you can imagine. You are all characters inhabiting the Urban Fantasy/Horror version of our world circa 2010. You can play a Psychic, a WItch/Warlock, A studious Sage like Giles from Buffy or Sam Winchester from Supernatural, a Mundane human who has been thrust into a terrifying world, a Veteran hunter of the Supernatural, a Chosen One like Buffy or Ashley Williams from Evil Dead, a Mad Scientist/Inventor, a Supernatural Monster, or a Someone who can see Dead people and control the creatures of death and undeath. You have all been recruited to be spies due to your skills and talents. Having been recruited to join The International Covert Operations Network, or simply ICON, you all have been sent to train at The Crucible and will be sent all over the world, living the glamorous and dangerous life of a spy. Our game will start with everyone being recruited and then sent to The Crucible, where the adventure will start in earnest. It needs to be mentioned that this game is not D&D, Pathfinder, or even D&D 5e. It's an original game system from Solarian Games as well as a new edition/sucessor game of the Top Secret Espionage TTRPG from the 1980s originally by TSR.
