Adult Player Wanted for Light Hearted, One Shot–Focused TTRPG Group We’re looking to add adult players to our long running, relaxed gaming group! Experience is absolutely not required—just bring curiosity, a willingness to join in, and a sense of humor. What We Play We play a wide range of systems and genres—classic fantasy quests, chaotic goblin nonsense, supernatural westerns, sci fi mysteries, and plenty more.   Our group leans toward short adventures and one shots rather than long campaigns. It keeps things fresh, lets everyone try new characters and playstyles, and avoids long term commitment burnout.   We do play D&D 5.5e the most, but we love trying new systems. Our Vibe We keep things light, fun, and low pressure. No rules lawyering, no perfectionism—just a bunch of adults hanging out and having a good time. • Mechanics stay simple and easy to grasp (rules are a guide) • Bold risks and silly ideas are encouraged (let’s see how we can make that happen) • Romance fades to black • Gore stays reasonable (…though someone did carry around a decapitated head once) • We respect everyone’s triggers (one player is terrified of spiders) Inclusivity Matters We are proudly LGBTQIA+ friendly and want players who feel the same. LOOKING FOR 3–5 PLAYERS — IN-PERSON TTRPG PLAYTEST Location: Millbrook / Prattville / Wetumpka, with the Montgomery area also an option Format: In-person tabletop RPG Genre: Fantasy adventure Experience: None required — new and experienced players welcome Character Creation: Required as part of the playtest. You'll be building your own character rather than having me build one for you. I'll be available to answer rules questions, but I specifically want to see how well a new player can navigate character creation on their own. Schedule: Flexible evenings or weekends System: UNBOUND, a custom TTRPG system I'm developing I'm looking for 3–5 players to help playtest UNBOUND, an anti-essentialist, leveled point-buy TTRPG built around one idea: Build the character you actually want to play, instead of choosing a class and being told what that character is supposed to be. UNBOUND doesn't lock you into traditional class archetypes. You build your character through Build Points, Perks, Limitations, and attributes, allowing you to develop in whatever direction fits your concept. Combat is dynamic, using Active Defenses, contested rolls, and armor as a percentage-based damage reduction system. Magic is intentionally flexible, and healing isn't restricted to one dedicated “healbot” class. The goal of the playtest is to actually put these ideas through their paces at a real table — see what works, find what doesn't, and have some fun while we're doing it. No prior experience with TTRPGs is necessary. You don't need to know any systems going in; character creation is part of the playtest, and I'll walk everyone through it. The Player's Guide, GM's Guide, and Martial Arts Handbook are already available on the UNBOUND Discord. -Hello, I'm Demon. the short to this is, I have made this post to find anyone that wishes to play D&D, the number of players seen is how many peaple are in the dicord group. - we currently have me and 2 others player, and a number of other that wanted to check out the Discord -the schedule is Saturdays after 7:30pm CDT Bi-weekly at the moment.  -I figured if we can get 5 people (me included), and each of us take turns doing one shots, until we figure out who we want as a DM. I'll be doing the first one at least. and maybe we all can take turns DMing the campain if we like that Idea.  -This would let new players figure out, a bit more of the game. if I get more experienced players that's fine, I only wish that you do not call out the newer player for things they do not know, Me included. I can't say I'm new, nor can I say I'm experienced. I know some things but can't juggle the DM part of things vary well, so I would like to be a player, or play with other players who are new and are willing to learn to play with me. -this is a way to help connect other players with other players, and allow other players to see what DM's have to do as well as enjoy learning and making mistakes, after all we all make them, and the rule books are just a guide to play, we can easly make up are own rules as a group, as long as every one is ok with the rules, but we should stick close to the rule of the book so things don't get to overpowered.  -I would prefer 18+ group, however I understand new players may not be, there for I will exept any age at this time. -I may be willing to Draw art for the members, but I only ask if you want it please be patient with me, I'm not a fast drawer. I can also do Ai art if you want, but I think hand drawn art is more unique.
