Description

HI! It's me! Water Enjoyer! I've been spending the last five to two years of my already occupied time occasionally throwing up in a corner! This corner's since become overflown with my slop and has blossomed into an ENJOYABLE PRODUCT which is being shared now! The UNALTERED MOON System, Which, for people who like sniffing out anagrams, is in fact meaning that this is a TTRPG set in the world of DELTARUNE, with a custom-made system designed for this very world! What is it, how does it function? Those are normal questions to be asking me!
ENTIRELY SKILL-BASED, with no rolls (except for a very rare 8ball-based chance mechanic) or stats (outside of combat) whatsoever, meaning that your ability to interact with the world is determined solely by your own choices, and whatever you've given your character; utilizing the* CLAIMS System, a system I developed for effective conflict resolution via powerscaling!
CHOCK-FULL OF COMMISSIONED / SELF-MADE CUSTOM CONTENT, with an immense amount of effort thrown into this; featuring over 70+ custom NPC designs, a whole original soundtrack from a musician who liked my concepts so much they decided to make music for me for free because I'm that goated, and all maps made in Inkarnate!
A MODERATELY EXPERIENCED DM, me! I've been playing for five years and DMing for three, but my players think I'm a gift from god so that has to count for something!
INBUILT ARGs & MULTIMEDIA CONTENT, to best immerse you in the whole 'interfacing with this world' vibe the games go for! While it's not a necessary component, if you like your lore convoluted and your rabbit holes ever-deepening, I'm yours!
A GROSSLY FLESHED OUT ~200 PERSON POPULATION SUBURBAN TOWN TO EXPLORE, which leans hard into Pacific Northwestern slop with a general early-2000's air about it! It's basically just America, but I gave it a funny new name, and it's technically in the same world as DELTARUNE!
NO AI INVOLVED, which sucks that that's even something that needs to be specified in this world anymore! All the subpar imagery you'll see, rest assured, was made by my big sloppy hands covered in my aforementioned bile!
You'll be playing as a nearly-graduated High School senior in the Wakefield Township, the third safest town in the state, who acts as a bastion of suburbia and nothinburgeritude in an otherwise idyllic coniferous landscape! The actual plot? That's quite literally for you to decide; while I control the uncontrollables, the hidden schemes and greater forces and fellow neighbors of this world, these plots are not apparent. As such, this campaign's been carefully structured to first establish your own ties to this world, and then progress from there! All will be explained in the document linked at the bottom of this page! Before looking into this any further, make sure you're in line with the following parameters;
  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 26 to participate!
  • Must have access to Discord, OwlBearRodeo, and Steam!
  • Session times are Sundays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM PST! These times cannot change!
If you wanna learn more, click the link below; that link will then take you to a Google Form. Fill that out, attach your Discord username when it asks to, and wait! I'll be accepting applications from now until September 24th; after which, I'll do the screenings / slopnot from then to October 1st at the latest! I'm looking for three people, with slots open to backup actors for side-roles of importance; so, chances are that if I like you a lot, I'll find a nice place to shove you in, even if you don't "make it" to the main party! Thank you for watching my dream! Do NOT reply to this post asking to join, as this is not how the sign-on process works and I will feel bad for not replying! Feel free to reply with interest so people recognize me for my brilliance! Log in to view

Looking for player interested in testing custom game system via narrative roleplay and learning the system itself. Grasianil: Custom D6-based system utilizing Maptool primarily, heavily stream-lined to support large, quick battles. Versatility allows vehicles, mechs, and spaceships, utilizing unique mechanics, in-addition to single players. Minimal delays owing to macros within Maptool, utilizing pop-up menus, automatic calculation of damage, debuffs, armor, etc. Highly adaptable, with streamlined rules offering as much complexity as is desired, and based on the setting. Developed by myself and my partner who passed away earlier this year. Supports several original fantasy and sci fi worlds of varying types, from traditional western high fantasy, to detailed low fantasy, from space opera-style sci fi, to more realistic settings. In-addition to original settings not listed here, it has been adapted to: Legend of Zelda Battletech Middle Earth Forgotten Realms Mystara Shadowrun and Cyberpunk Pre-existing settings are not played strictly-canon, but consistency is stressed. Medium amount of experience in RPing requested, as well as an open mind to learn a new system. Maptool 1.11.5 needed, Discord used primarily for all text but other programs are an option, Google sheets used for some settings. Time-zone of GM is US Central. RPing otherwise done via text on Discord, but other options open to discussion. Session date and time variable, any listed setting available, suggestions welcome, inquire in DMs to myself for further details. GM preference for folks interested in creating a story, rather than purely for the gaming. One-on-one only, at the moment. No cost. No absolute obligation. Reach out to natalie7995 on Discord, or via message/email for more information. When reaching out, please send a message via Groupfinder or over Discord.

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Whatever the opposite of a railroaded adventure is, this open-world campaign is that. The rules are simple. The world is complicated. What happens to it is up to the players. You will hear rumors, discover locations, meet competing factions, and encounter problems, but the game will not tell you which direction you must take. Some things the players have chosen to do so far: Join the local mercenaries to learn the ways of the sword as a mage - Retrieve an old lady's purse - Become war chieftain of an orc village - Decapitate a wight with a cursed sword Also some new races that are crafted to play and feel very different: - Pixie - fly, perfect hiding, cast phantasmal forces at will, insults cause physical damage to you - Orc - infra-vision, can recruit monsters more easily Races and classes are kind of blended together. Multiple characters are encouraged. Each choice allows you to do something that appears to let you break the game, while saddling you with something else that seems debilitating. This is by design, and players have come up with a few ways of getting around and abusing these things to the betterment of the story and lore. - Fighting-Man - Doesn't have to actually be a guy, but is a human. Can use all weapons and armor. - Magic-User - Has one spell, one "shot". Can meet with magic learned peers to exchange knowledge. The most notorious spell in the game right now is Charm Person because it doesn't wear off like in later editions. - Cleric - The best of the two above, but must be Good, and by the Law. - Elf - Essentially a Magic-Use/Fighting-Man with extra perks and ties with elves and the ability to sense magic, enhanced senses, etc. but capped at a certain point - Hobbit - Capped early, but can hide flawlessly in urban areas and snipe REAL good with slings. No magic. - Dwarf -  Capped early, but high resistance, good with all axes and hammers, can sense what stone touches and its shape, and ties with and extensive knowledge of dwarven culture and holds. There are major events going on in the background but instead of shoving players in the middle of them, I showcase the developments of those events that come about, for good or ill. The players decide what to investigate, whom to trust, which dangers are worth confronting, and what their characters want to accomplish. How many hirelings do you need to bring with you? How much can you do successfully alone to maximize profit? Play alone, 1-on-1 with DM and player, or up to 10 others at once. The world continues to develop around the party. Factions pursue their own plans, NPCs remember your actions, enemies adapt, settlements can change, and neglected situations may grow better or worse. Player choices can permanently reshape the campaign world. Let me know if you are interested!

Hello! My name is Drek, and im looking for one or two people to join an online RPG!  The Pitch: *Its been some time since "the most powerful man in the universe" obtained his position. Since that time, generations have passed, and yet it seems like he, nor anyone else, has a good idea for how to save whats left of sapient existence. The universe, save our little corner, is empty. Bereft of life. A universally aggressive entity, a terrible pseudo-hivemind, has only three substantial galaxies left to consume: Triangulum, Milky Way, and Andromeda, as well as their satellites. The single ray of hope is that, right now, the largest military in this part of the universe seems to be keeping them at bay enough to bide time. But we are finite. They have large enough numbers to be considered infinite. We are the Universe's last twitch in the throes of death.* *But, that is for the changed, the mutated, and the demi-gods to manage. Even the unseen hells, full to the brim of the dead, is breaking every universal rule to find a way to keep everything from ending. That is not why you're out here. You're out here to help with a different threat.*  *For some time now, the old things, things that hid in the quiet unknown, things that were only known in the whispers of mythology and time, have been stepping into the light. You're here for them. You're here to, one by one, rid the galaxy of things that go bump in the night. Malignant spirits, immortal cannibals, the possessed, and more. Nothing and no one should live forever, and certainly not prey, figuratively or literally, on mortal men.*  *This is the purpose of the CLSS Solace in Death.* About the Game:  I tend to communicate these things by vibe instead of genre, so this may be a bit vague! Bear with me.  The setting is "homebrew", during a science fiction type era. There is an *ungodly* amount of lore involved, which we will need to discuss as a group.  The general idea, or feeling, im going for in the setting is a SciFi story wherein most of the known galaxy is at least *somewhat* aware that gods exist, and that the guy who revealed this information (a person that became a "god" entirely by accident) is extremely jaded with the state of the Universe. But, most have decided they're not going without a fight. People, broadly, are feisty and hopeful and ready to sacrifice a lot to make sure "people", as a broad concept, see tomorrow. But, the vibe of the narrative of the actual *game* will be some kind of scifi-horror-monster-hunt kind of thing. All of my (60~ish?) races are homebrew. Some are humanoid to the point of comedy, some are *really* not.  IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT THIS GAME: IT MAY BE *VERY* ROLEPLAY HEAVY! IF YOU PREFER TO FIGHT AND ROLL DICE, THIS IS NOT THE GAME FOR YOU.  THE SYSTEM IS HOMEBREW, SOMEWHAT SIMILAR TO DND3.5. THERE ARE NO CLASSIC "CLASSES". THE "MAGIC SYSTEM" MY SYSTEM USES IS UNIQUE TO MY SYSTEM.  !!!*PLEASE CONSIDER BOTH OF THESE THINGS*!!! About the GM: im a 31 year old queer person (they/it) that writes fiction, mostly in the form of novels. This game, and all of my other games, are based in the cannon in which i write, which is very dense and very large.  As a personal note about me, I like linguistics, sitting on my balcony with a nice cigar, an occasional glas of whisky, or, if im feeling fancy, an old fashioned. I enjoy cooking. Im married to a wonderful guy, and we nerd out together about things like 40K and the Monster Hunter g Videogames. My favorite game (and the only one im good at) is Bloodborne, with Halo 2 as a close second.  About Who Im Looking for:  I currently have two confirmed players. Both (i think) identify as some form of queer.  If you have "weird (negative) feelings" about the LGBTQ÷ community, minorities of *any* type, religion as a concept, or *reasonable* mental illness/disability accommodation, this group is not for you.  Current day of play is Wednesday. Theres not a ton of room for negotiation on this.  If you got this far thank you for reading my post! Im hopeful to hear from someone!  - Drek
