LOOKING FOR 3–5 PLAYERS — IN-PERSON TTRPG PLAYTEST Location: Millbrook / Prattville / Wetumpka, with the Montgomery area also an option Format: In-person tabletop RPG Genre: Fantasy adventure Experience: None required — new and experienced players welcome Character Creation: Required as part of the playtest. You'll be building your own character rather than having me build one for you. I'll be available to answer rules questions, but I specifically want to see how well a new player can navigate character creation on their own. Schedule: Flexible evenings or weekends System: UNBOUND, a custom TTRPG system I'm developing I'm looking for 3–5 players to help playtest UNBOUND, an anti-essentialist, leveled point-buy TTRPG built around one idea: Build the character you actually want to play, instead of choosing a class and being told what that character is supposed to be. UNBOUND doesn't lock you into traditional class archetypes. You build your character through Build Points, Perks, Limitations, and attributes, allowing you to develop in whatever direction fits your concept. Combat is dynamic, using Active Defenses, contested rolls, and armor as a percentage-based damage reduction system. Magic is intentionally flexible, and healing isn't restricted to one dedicated “healbot” class. The goal of the playtest is to actually put these ideas through their paces at a real table — see what works, find what doesn't, and have some fun while we're doing it. No prior experience with TTRPGs is necessary. You don't need to know any systems going in; character creation is part of the playtest, and I'll walk everyone through it. The Player's Guide, GM's Guide, and Martial Arts Handbook are already available on the UNBOUND Discord. Just a chill game ran in a wing it style. I like structure but mostly just come up with things on the fly

Hey, everyone. I'm looking for a fifth player to join a Shadowdark table I started up. Its been me and four other players now for about 4 sessions. We're exploring a homebrew region I created called The Misty Vale! There is no overarching plot to the campaign, but instead I want to encourage a sandbox style campaign where the players are encouraged to explore and plunder the ruins and tombs scattered across the region. System: Shadowdark, and only the core rule book. If you're coming from 5E, think of Shadowdark as a more stream-lined system with some more lethality added to it. I'll be linking the Player's Quickstart Guide in the Discord server I set up. What tools will we be using? Owlbear Rodeo for VTT (simple drawing tools) use, and Discord for voice communication. Games will be run via Theater of the Mind, and a player will be assigned the role of mapper for the party. Other player roles will be assigned as well, such as note-taker, quartermaster, etc.  Availability: Bi-weekly sessions on Fridays at 8:30 PM. Sessions to run approximately 3 hours each. I'm currently reading Last Arguement of Kings by Joe Abercrombie. I've DMed a few times for both DnD and Shadowdark, but want to get more experience in Shadowdark and OSR rule systems specifically as I appreciate its more rules-lite nature.
