Docksiders is a game intended to run as a campaign following a group of edgerunners who live in one of the more colorful neighborhoods of Night City: Dock Cargo Community. Nestled between Docks 16 and 17 in the port district of Night City, this small container village sees as much City foot traffic as it does sea traffic. This game will see you taking your edgerunner(s) through a series of jobs and side hustles they need to fund their stylish and dangerous lifestyle. You can expect to see content from both official sources and custom content as well as the ability to plan your own jobs should you acquire the skill and the reputation. Take big risks, take big rewards. But be warned, Night City is an unforgiving place and it would be foolish for anyone to think they will live forever. Hi.  I run a game on Discord, Tuesday nights, 7 PM Eastern.  It’s a fantasy game…sometimes.  It’s sci-fi set in Shanghai…well, maybe next week.  It was a western a week ago, I think, or was that gothic horror? The game has you as a special agent, traveling to alternate histories for a massive, multi-reality travel agency.  Because all possibilities are possible, you can be whatever you want (within reason, about as powerful as an X-Man/Teen Titan and you must appear as human or at least as something that’s common in reality like a squirrel or something).  Our group has a Fae cowboy, and a dieselpunk femme fatale.  In the past we've had robots, intelligent sand, hive-mind insect swarms and so on.  You come up with the concept and we’ll make it happen.  We prefer your character appear human-like or at least be something one would see in reality (a cat or at least something that could wear a holo projector to appear human). The game uses GURPS – a very old, crunchy and confusing game engine.  However, you will not have to do anything, just tell me what you want & I do the numbers.  I (the GM) am so backwards that we do not use AI or software.  I use a paper map and puppets. A bit about the group.  We may have one person, maybe more, leaving and we need a replacement.  This is not set in stone & cannot guarantee this will happen.  The group is mostly younger (20’s-30’s) & mostly women.  Therefore, I would prefer anyone joining to be a woman or at the very least not be weird about it.  This will get you immediately banned.  Please be nice and professional. We’re looking for the following: Foremost is a good personality and a sense of humor (not “my friends think I’m funny"), like actually funny and personality means to have one.  You can be shy and awkward, but don’t bring the mood down.  Next is consistency.  We’d prefer someone that can show up.  We play once per week, and you will need to consider that if you feel it will be an issue.  Finally, we are Newb friendly and pro LGBT.  All we ask that you don’t be a jerk.   We do sometimes say naughty words and drink adult beverages.  Well, at least I do.  This is actually a very special thing we have going on so please take that in consideration.   It's not your average game.   I'd suggest listening in first & you can make up your mind from there.  I’d suggest filling out the questionnaire or you can reach out to me directly at @yeroldpalwill. The Greensteel Corsairs are the most daring and notorious pirates of the Gilead system. Despite being composed mostly of Aeldari, the Emerald Princess has begun to bring others into the fold. The corsairs do not always trust these outsiders and they are often given the most dangerous of missions to prove their worth. Our heroes are no different, gathered together because of their unique skill they have been tasked with a mission. To infiltrate the lair of the Haemonculi Caraxus and steal a powerful relic; The Heart of Mathlann. Having been sent under the guise of prisoners sold to the Haemonculi they must find the relic and escape.Their efforts will reveal a drama unfolding in the wider galaxy and a map to a legendary treasure. A relic from a fearsome Aeldari corsair that could change not only their lives but the lives of the countless souls that call Gilead home. Together they will roam the wine dark sea and test their mettle against the worst the sector has to offer, for at the end of their journey the last gift of The Crimson Prince awaits. OOC Information While set in the Grimdark setting of the 41st Millenium this game will have a much lighter tone with a greater emphasis on high adventure and daring escapades rather than the usual doom and gloom that pervades the setting. While predominately an aeldari based story players will be able to pick from a variety of non-aeldari races. No experience with either Wrath & Glory is required. This is a beginner friendly and LGBTQ+ friendly game. Hatefulness, bigotry and anti social behavior will not be tolerated. Game time starts at 8pm est runs on a weekly basis every Thursday.
