New rumors spread in every couple of days. Protectors of the realm looking for ways to fight against it. Balin, son of Fundin, found a way that could be risky yet helpful. There is an artifact, buried deep into Khazad-dûm, that can banish the shadow. It may not be a permanent solution, but it could be a game-changer. A small and brave group needs to be gathered. And travel far into the gaze of the Abyss. They should delve deeper into Moria. They should possess the Heart of Durin. They should survive and bring it back to the council. The Heart should change the balance of everything. Moria: The Dark Descent is a custom sandbox adventure for The One Ring 2nd Edition. It's open for everyone who is brave enough to take their steps into the depths of Moria. Take your seat, draw your swords, bows and ax, and survive through the shadow!

I'm a professional gamemaster of horror, occultism and dark fantasy. I don't like grid plays much, so, my games are generally in the Theater of the Mind style, with improv and chaotic scenes and terrifying music!

Swan Song of Cardolan (The One Ring 2E)

Hello! I am looking for 1-2 more players to join my new campaign in The One Ring (second edition) system. Let’s have adventures in the Lord of the Rings universe! Even if you haven’t played this system, don’t worry, we’ll start slow. Relevant rule books will be provided. The campaign will be set in the intended time frame for the game (between the events of The Hobbit and LOTR) and will start out in Bree. The story, at least how I intend to start it, will revolve around helping a group of displaced people establish a new settlement. This may involve exploration of the wilderness, building alliances with other peoples, eliminating threats, searching for powerful items, and of course, taking a stand against the encroaching Shadow. Your Company’s starting Patron will be an original character - kind of a discount Aragorn, a leader of their people. For story reasons, I would prefer if your player characters weren’t of the Dúnedain Ranger or High Elf culture, unless you have a unique pitch that would fit. The game would be played online, over Discord voice call (unless everyone also agrees on video), and using roll20 just for travel maps (no battle maps are needed in this system). You can use your own physical sheet and dice.

The Haunting of Castle Gyllencreutz

Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
System: Vaesen Platform: Foundry VTT + Discord (voice) Time: BST. Wednesday 19:00. "In dark forests, beyond the mountains, by black lakes in hidden groves. At your doorstep. In the shadows, something stirs. Strange beings. Twisted creatures, lurking at the edge of vision. Watching. Waiting. Unseen by most, but not by you. You see them for what they really are. Vaesen." Vaesen presents a 19th century dark Gothic setting steeped in Nordic folklore and the old myths of Scandinavia. The game mechanics utilise an adapted version of the awardwinning Year Zero Engine and the best thing to liken it to is Call of Cthulhu but with a folkloric twist. Hello! My name is Mshary and I am looking to run a one-shot of this system in order to see whether this is a system I and my players from a different campaign want to continue with. I'm looking for up to 3 players and this is open to everyone! New players are especially welcome since I am new to the system myself and so may stumble a touch at first.  I am planning on running the starter adventure from the book "The Haunting of Castle Gyllencreutz" and that comes with a couple of pregens can choose from unless they wish to make their own characters. This acts as something akin to a prologue for joining the "Society" so it'll give us a taste of what's to come. What you can expect What you can expect from me is an experienced GM who has run a several long-term campaigns and many more oneshots and shorter games. The one line that best describes me as a GM is that I’m relaxed, friendly, and here to make sure everyone has a great time. My games are all about good vibes, fun, and group chemistry. I have a bit of an “older brother” style. Guiding things, hyping players up, and making sure everyone feels comfortable jumping in and having their moment. No one gets left on the sidelines. I am consistent and punctual. If for whatever reason something comes up and a game must be postponed, I will let you all know far in advance and try my best to accommodate an alternative game time. Final Words Thank you for taking the time to read all of that, if you are interested please fill in the following super short form: https://forms.gle/yWqWogMZvdD2A85P9

Homebrew
House rules, a custom setting, or a system the Game Master wrote themselves.
I am looking for 3–4 players for an open-ended campaign set in the Gundam Universal Century timeline!  we will use Owlbear About the Campaign: Timeline: Starting during the One Year War (OYW) and continuing for as long as the story takes us—until the squad either falls in battle or decides to retire. Player Choice Matters: Your starting faction, objectives, and assets will be dictated by the choices you make as a group. You have the power to change the course of UC history or become another victim of its tragedy. Sandbox & Dynamic Storytelling: This is a heavy sandbox campaign. I love building the world around player motivations and goals. Some sessions will be purely character-driven roleplay with little to no combat, while others will drop you straight into gritty, intense battlefields. Custom Art: As a GM bonus, I can provide custom sprite art for your custom Mobile Suits and potentially your characters! What I Ask from Players: Patience & Feedback: I am a first-time GM stepping over to the other side of the screen for my first full campaign (after running a couple of one-shots). I might make mistakes, but I am very open to constructive tips and feedback! Roleplay Focus: We are here to craft a compelling story together, not just min-max or go on kill streaks. If you want to shape the Universal Century, this is your chance.
