Description

Hello,  I'm looking for some people to play with after I get home from work during the week. Monday-Friday, I work from 3:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. CST the next day. That has me getting home from work at 2:00 a.m. Tuesday - Saturday. So, I'm looking for people who are up late and looking for a chance to game together. Ideally this would be hosted on Foundry VTT, since I have a server for it already and can keep it updated and good to go. I would prefer not to DM again, so I'm hoping someone on this fucked schedule with me might be willing to, but if not, the backup plan would be to run through all of the Dungeon Crawl one shots with a rotating DM each time. Besides that, I personally don't care too much about strictly rules as written, I enjoy setting aside rules for the sake of cool factor and fun. Homebrew races and stuff are always interesting and would hopefully be allowed by the DM(s) based on what we're doing. If you are interested, please reach out with which nights you're available and if you're interested as a player or a DM. I'm putting together a list from a few posts and trying to see who all could play!

My availability is from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. CST during the week-nights (Tuesday - Saturday morning). Mostly looking for a 4e game, but not opposed to joining a good Pathfinder 2e game if one presents itself. I definitely prefer combat overall.

Fight Night at the We-Won't-Rob-You

West Marches / Living World
One world and a big pool of players, but no fixed party - whoever signs up that week is who plays.
Do you like combat? Boss fights? Teamwork? Character builds? Ever done raiding in an MMO and thought, "I like this, but I wish it were instead a series of bespoke D&D encounters"? If you answered yes, then you might enjoy Fight Night at the We-Won't-Rob-You! What Is Fight Night? Think of it like a cross between a board game night and MMO progression raiding. A series of challenging encounters, one for each level. Reset and die without consequence. Beat the fight, get loot, level up, challenge the next one! Refit your character build between attempts, and build a strategy to conquer the boss! Create multiple characters to maximize your flexibility. Re-run defeated fights with additional difficulty modifiers. Challenge a gauntlet of every fight in a row and prove your mastery! Sessions are scheduled ad-hoc; a bot pings the discord each day asking for signups. If enough people are in, we run an attempt that night! What Fight Night Is NOT Outside of a vague framing device, there isn't really any story or roleplay to Fight Night; we're using roleplaying game rules to run a tactics game. Your character sheet is functionally just a statblock. Before You Apply Does that all strike your fancy? Great! First though, let us temper your enthusiasm. First, note that this is being run with D&D 4E. Not everybody's cup of tea, we know. Don't worry if you lack 4e experience; that was the case for the majority of us, and we're happy to teach you. That said, do be aware that you'd be entering the game partway through its run (Level 7) and so you'll need to be prepared for a lot of front-loaded information and complexity. Second, please don't apply if you're racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. We have players across a spectrum of race, ethnicity, gender expression, and sexuality. If that's going to be a problem for you, even a little bit, you're best off scrolling on. I promise you that you won't get along with us, we won't get along with you, and it'll be a miserable time for everyone. Lastly, you'll have to bear with the fact that we're a bit protective over our little group, and so we're going to exercise some pickiness when it comes to new additions. We can't promise to invite everyone who expresses interest. Sorry. If that all works for you, then feel free to reach out. You can DM me here, or on discord (username Sethenn). Come join the fight!

Specimen Unknown

Eli Boone grew up in a small agricultural town in Ohio. He's a friendly, loyal, hardworking guy with strong small-town values. He believes in helping people, keeping his word, and doing what's right. He wasn't always a believer in the supernatural. That changed during a family trip to Wisconsin. While visiting his uncle, Eli experienced what appeared to be a genuine haunting: cold spots, voices, the sensation of being watched, and other unexplained events. During the same trip, his family's car was chased by what Eli believes was the Beast of Bray Road. On the drive home, the family witnessed two unidentified objects in the sky. Three completely different paranormal experiences in the span of one trip convinced Eli that the world was considerably stranger than he had thought. He posted about the experiences online, expecting people to think he was crazy. Most did. But one organization took his story very seriously. The Aegis Foundation The Aegis Foundation is a recently established international organization that publicly presents itself as a humanitarian and charitable organization dedicated to protecting people and improving lives. Behind the scenes, however, Aegis knows that monsters and other supernatural phenomena exist. The organization has wealthy international benefactors, extensive resources, official connections, rigorous training programs, and a growing network of facilities. It is also extremely bureaucratic and secretive. Aegis wants monster specimens—dead or alive—for reasons that aren't entirely clear. Eli was recruited immediately after high school and became the first paid field Hunter employed by Aegis. He's been extensively trained and equipped, and he's genuinely proud to work for them. Aegis gave him a purpose and took him seriously when everyone else thought he was crazy. The catch? Eli doesn't actually know what Aegis ultimately wants. And neither do I. I'd love to explore that mystery during the campaign. What I'm Looking For I'm hoping to find a Keeper who is interested in taking this premise and running with it. I'm particularly interested in: Monster-hunting and investigation Character-driven stories A little mystery surrounding Aegis The occasional horror, but not necessarily nonstop grimdark Humor and fun between the scary stuff Characters who have reasons to care about each other Collaborative worldbuilding The possibility of the characters gradually discovering what Aegis is really doing I'm new to Monster of the Week, so I'm looking for a group that's welcoming to someone learning the system. I'm not expecting the campaign to revolve around Eli or Aegis—I'd like the other players' characters and stories to be just as important. If you're a Keeper looking for a campaign idea, or a player interested in joining something like this, I'd love to hear from you.

Star Wars – Mystery at Galaxy's Edge

Roleplay focused
Conversation, character and story take up most of the table time.
Newbie friendly
New players are welcome, and nobody expects you to know the rules beforehand.
The galaxy is changing… and not for the better. The Yuuzhan Vong have arrived from beyond the known galaxy, bringing living ships, terrifying biotechnology, and a hatred of machines that has already left entire worlds in ruin. The New Republic is struggling to respond, the Jedi are stretched thin, and the hyperspace lanes are filled with refugees, rumors, and fear. In the middle of this chaos, you are part of a small crew trying to survive and make a difference. Maybe you’re Jedi trying to understand this strange new enemy. Maybe you’re soldiers fighting a desperate delaying action. Smugglers, scouts, diplomats, and survivors all have a place in a galaxy where the rules of war are rapidly changing. This campaign will focus heavily on roleplay, character choices, and the personal stories that unfold during a massive galactic war. Expect tense negotiations, dangerous missions behind enemy lines, moral dilemmas, and moments where your characters must decide what they’re willing to sacrifice to protect the galaxy. The Yuuzhan Vong are coming. Who will your character be when the galaxy needs heroes… or survivors? Looking for GM and Players.  Saturdays 10:00 AM GMT Does this day and time work for you, and can you reliably make the sessions? How old are you and how much RPG experience do you have? Do both you and your character work well in a team? Are you familiar with Saga Edition and do you have a copy of it? What is your character concept?
