dungeonmixer.io

A basic 6-track mixer desk in your browser.

Overview

Nothing fancy, just a basic 6-track mixer desk in your browser which lets you load your own local audio files into multiple channel strips to layer ambient soundscapes. The app is 100% Offline & Local Storage: Everything lives directly in your browser's IndexedDB. You can load your audio pack and run sessions entirely in airplane mode! You can even export the entire sound library, saved scenes, and stinger setups into a single .dungeon bundle file to take between devices. It's something I built for my own table which I wanted to share with the community. Enjoy!

Key features

6-Channel Mixing Desk

Load your own local audio files into multiple channel strips to layer ambient soundscapes (e.g., tavern chatter + rain on the roof + fireplace crackle)

Procedural Ambient Dice

Set channels to roll periodic dice checks behind the scenes to trigger spot effects randomly (e.g., rolling every 10s to organically trigger a thunder strike, monster roar, or creaking floorboard)

Soundboard Stingers

Top-row pads with instant hotkey triggers (1–6) for immediate sound effects (spells, critical hits, door slams).

Smooth Scene Crossfades

Save scene presets and crossfade between locations smoothly with custom fade timers instead of jarring audio cuts.

Tactile In-Person Hotkeys

Keep it running on your laptop/tablet and hit 1–6 for stingers, Space to mute the master channel, Shift+1..6 for channel mutes, or Esc to fade the entire desk.

100% Offline & Local Storage

Everything lives directly in your browser's IndexedDB. There are no logins, no cloud tracking, and no streaming lag. You can load your audio pack and run sessions entirely in airplane mode.

Portable Campaign Bundles

Export your entire sound library, scenes, and stinger setups into a single .dungeon bundle file to take between devices.

FATE
Brute Force is a real-play comedic RPG podcast blended with in-character narration. We play a campaign of FATE Core (we started with World of Darkness) set in the high fantasy world of Eorith. Narrated by Jasper Spitwhistle, the resident bard of the Gilded Ram Groghouse and Tea Room, our campaign takes place in the high fantasy world of Eorith where magic sometimes works but seldom as expected. The party is composed of so-called "monstrous" characters like yetis, skeletons, harpies, or vampire bear children. Free League Publishing
Coriolis: The Third Horizon (CTTH) is a science-fiction RPG from Free League Publishing. Published in 2016, it is one of the earliest implementations of the Year Zero Engine. Inspired by the cultures and aesthetics of Arabia and North Africa, it offers a refreshing alternative to the traditional space opera setting. The player characters are the crew of a starship: free traders, explorers, mercenaries, agents, or pilgrims. Bound together by debt, necessity, and ambition. Every job carries them deeper into the Third Horizon, a cluster of thirty-six star systems linked by mysterious Portals left behind by a vanished alien progenitor race. Description The game assumes the PCs are already together as the crew of a starship, though the nature of that crew is entirely up to the players. Characters begin with broad concepts such as Artist, Data Spider, Fugitive, Negotiator, Operative, Pilot, Preacher, Scientist, Ship Worker, Soldier, or Trailblazer. These are concepts and starting points rather than classes: a Soldier might be a legionnaire, a mercenary, a palace guard, or something entirely different.
