Fallout - Astoundingly Awesome Tales!

Female DM with 6+ years experience looking for 1 more player who loves to roleplay, delve deep into lore and backstories, and get a kick out of scheming, plotting and exploiting a homebrew open world in a long term weekly DND campaign. In a world where corporations vie over powerful resources, the gods have fallen silent and every choice has consequences - the party has travelled to the land of South Rhodesia where dragons rule in peace. It's the end of the year, the 50th anniversary of Godfall and day of the dead, a festival has taken over the streets of the dragon fort and everyone is ready to celebrate. While we have already begun the adventure, it is not too late to join! We have a barbarian, a monk, a necromancer, a warlock, and a druid who have come together to unravel the mysteries of the crystals which cover this world and save people from the machinations of the mega-corporations.  We are seeking 1 more player to join the party long term, there is still much of the story to unravel. If you enjoy delving deep into lore, roleplaying with the party and with NPCs and exploring the world around you - then this is the group for you. A replacement rail service catapulted our party into the chaos of Fracture, they've fought off train robbers only to become train robbers themselves. In doing so, they discovered a secret slave trade that they are attempting to bring down, whilst working against the corruption of the corporations and trying to (mostly) be the good guys (I think). Amongst the dangers of corporate research, deals with devils and the fury of freedom fighters, they have uncovered something else, something so much deeper and more deadly than the problems on the surface of Heleth - the truth about crystals. As the party seek out answers from silent gods, they wonder just how deep this rabbit hole goes and where on Heleth it might lead them. New players will be offered a free session 0 which will include a catch up of the story so far and discussion as to how their character will integrate into the party. $20/session Thursdays 7:00pm-10:30pm BST 2014 rules with a few homebrew ones thrown in the mix, open to exceptions and edits. Level 9 Any class or species (except Spelljammer), open to homebrew requests. All backstories will be integrated into the world and story, with each character getting a chance to explore them. Phandelver & Below: The Shattered Obelisk is a campaign that starts with the beloved Lost Mine of Phandelver adventure before gradually transforming into something much stranger and more dangerous. And you get to decide how your story unfolds along the way. ⚔️ What to Expect 🎭 Roleplay & memorable characters Phandalin is filled with people worth meeting, helping, annoying, or occasionally punching. Your character's choices matter, and I'll give you plenty of opportunities to develop their story. 🗺️ Exploration & adventure Travel through the Sword Coast, discover forgotten locations, investigate mysteries and uncover what is really happening around Phandalin. ⚔️ Exciting combat Expect a mixture of tactical encounters, dangerous monsters, classic D&D enemies and the occasional fight that goes very differently from what you expected. 🧩 Mystery & discovery There is more happening beneath Phandalin than initially meets the eye. Strange events, missing people and mysterious forces gradually reveal a much larger threat. 😂 A relaxed table This is an adventure, but we're here to have fun. Expect serious moments, ridiculous plans, terrible decisions and the occasional natural 20 that completely changes everything. 🆕 New to D&D? Absolutely no problem. You don't need to know every rule before joining. I'll explain the mechanics as we play, help you build your character, and make sure you understand what's happening without turning the game into a rules lecture.
