Description

Female DM with 6+ years experience looking for 1 more player who loves to roleplay, delve deep into lore and backstories, and get a kick out of scheming, plotting and exploiting a homebrew open world in a long term weekly DND campaign. In a world where corporations vie over powerful resources, the gods have fallen silent and every choice has consequences - the party has travelled to the land of South Rhodesia where dragons rule in peace. It's the end of the year, the 50th anniversary of Godfall and day of the dead, a festival has taken over the streets of the dragon fort and everyone is ready to celebrate. While we have already begun the adventure, it is not too late to join! We have a barbarian, a monk, a necromancer, a warlock, and a druid who have come together to unravel the mysteries of the crystals which cover this world and save people from the machinations of the mega-corporations.  We are seeking 1 more player to join the party long term, there is still much of the story to unravel. If you enjoy delving deep into lore, roleplaying with the party and with NPCs and exploring the world around you - then this is the group for you. A replacement rail service catapulted our party into the chaos of Fracture, they've fought off train robbers only to become train robbers themselves. In doing so, they discovered a secret slave trade that they are attempting to bring down, whilst working against the corruption of the corporations and trying to (mostly) be the good guys (I think). Amongst the dangers of corporate research, deals with devils and the fury of freedom fighters, they have uncovered something else, something so much deeper and more deadly than the problems on the surface of Heleth - the truth about crystals. As the party seek out answers from silent gods, they wonder just how deep this rabbit hole goes and where on Heleth it might lead them. New players will be offered a free session 0 which will include a catch up of the story so far and discussion as to how their character will integrate into the party. $20/session Thursdays 7:00pm-10:30pm BST 2014 rules with a few homebrew ones thrown in the mix, open to exceptions and edits. Level 9 Any class or species (except Spelljammer), open to homebrew requests. All backstories will be integrated into the world and story, with each character getting a chance to explore them. So, if magical storms, corrupt corporations, and crystal super weapons sounds like your kind of thing - message me if you want to know more or check out the game listing Log in to view.

I'm Katy, your guide through the dying realms. If you’re looking for a world where every choice cuts deep and no path is truly clean, you’ve found it. My games thrive on tension, consequence, and characters shaped by what they survive...or don’t.

Horror
The game leans into fear, tension and dark themes.
this is a beginner friendly campaign that is inspired by the game series mass effect So you and your group of friends were still drunk that when you stumbled into the woods and found a strange and abandoned space ship, completely unaware its a nautiloid ship that's used by mind flayers well you and your friends stole it and started having a bunch of adventures including intergalactic ones where you even recruited some people to join you to keep this spaceship running. only to eventually stumble onto evidence that a group of more zealot than normal gith and mind flayers have created a TERRIBLE alliance and are preparing to dominate the galaxy and sword coast so its up to you and your stolen space ship to stop it This game has heavy rpg element's, puzzles and mystery and a focus of not just the main campaign but finding allies and recruiting for your new ship Content warnings  Body Horror Extreme Violence Execution Genocide Gore Kidnapping Mass Death Talk of Superior Race Terrorism In Session 0, I discuss player boundaries and also share my own boundaries as the DM. It’s also a great opportunity to set clear expectations for the campaign before we start playing. If any issues arise later for any reason, I’m happy to hold another Session 0 to revisit boundaries and safety tools together. During sessions, I build in regular breaks (usually 5–10 minutes, or longer if needed). These give everyone a chance to rest mentally, grab something to eat, or take care of personal needs. Players are always welcome to request a break at any time. During more intense sessions or scenes, I remind everyone that my private messages (DMs) are always open. If you ever feel uncomfortable but don’t want to speak up in the moment, you can message me privately. I take all feedback seriously and will prioritize your comfort. At the end of intense sessions, I always do a quick check-in to make sure everyone is okay Payment is weekly through startplaying  Link to startplaying to sign up or for more information

A flying city of portals, the City of Doors has closed. The gods have decreed that The Reckoning has come and the Material Plane's time is over. All that is left now is the Endlands, immeasurable leagues of sunless wastes, fled by all who can escape to the Outer Planes. But something else moves in the shadows. Might there be something worse than the end of the Material Plane after all? In this mash-up of Planescape and Stephen King's Dark Tower epic, you will explore a reality moving on, discover the secrets of its creation, and decide its fate once and for all. Your heroes have come together from across D&D's time and space to a land of sunless light, unpredictable magic, and guns. Lots of guns. Let's hope you're quick on the draw. Built for players with all levels of experience, Spireward Bound follows a semi-episodic structure. Every few sessions, your characters are confronted with a new, exciting situation on your journey, each of which is designed for open-ended adventure. Our adventure is underway, but there's room at the fireside for more travelers! The posse are level 12 and consists of: 🐎 Potra Equidos, Centaur Paladin and entertainer, dedicated to Kelemvor. Always the first to charge in with battle axe and shotgun, but never sure we're going the right way. ✊ Jasir al-Sahir, Drow Monk/Warlock, newly undead and struggling with the competing influence of Dabus 19 and the Frontier Flames. A increasingly erratic investigator with a hound at his side. 🐲 Fin, Kobold Rogue and seasoned bounty hunter. A little guy with a big job, eager to track down the Herald. In pursuit of the Justice Tarot and worried about growing danger to the Endlands, they find themselves planning to hijack a Mind Flayer train!

[Please note the game is being played on Tuesdays at 6pm-10pm BST] Greetings, I am searching for one player to join an ongoing 5e game that heavily focuses around Steinhardt's guide to the eldritch hunt. The first thing to preface is the timing, the day cannot be changed as all players currently have commitments on all other days of the week, the starting hour could however be moved by an hour if necessary. The next thing anyone interested in should be made aware of is how "existing" the group is. By mid September we will have been playing for a year, though as people have become unavailable we have had one person join us in January and he has been with us longer than he hasn't so I would hope the same could be the case for you. A few more pieces of housekeeping would be mentioning the current group size. We have been running a group of 5 players for the majority of the campaign with my general ethos being wanting to run unless we have 2 people missing, recently one of the players has had to move to bi weekly and another has left due to simply not being able to make time for the game anymore. That has left us with a part size of 3-4. Hence is the reason for this post, as I would like someone to make take that number back to a party size of 4-5. With that out of the way, what game would you actually be joining? This campaign uses a lot of material provided by Steinhardt's guide to the eldritch hunt a 5e supplement by Monkey Dm, along with pieces of the additional story Heresy of Steel, all smoothed over with a narrative created by myself and the players. You may take the role of a hunter, a tool against the tide of beasts that plague the once fair city of Luyarnha, one experimented on by the enigmatic Obitus Scholare to be a perfect tool, or perhaps just someone looking to save themselves and those they care about. Maybe you are one of the many magically inclined individuals, one who has their upmost faith in the radiant one, or perhaps you attempt to understand the great ones who's presence lingers through every shadow of the city, all while trying to not go mad yourself. You could even be an unfortunate traveller, one who broke the lockdown on the city and has now been dragged far from home. Steinhardt's wears it's Bloodborne inspiration on it's sleeve so you can expect a similar similar oppressive atmospheres, deadly beasts and accursed nightmares. Additionally you can expect a setting with the beginnings of modern technology reminiscent of the industrial revolution. You can expect trains, guns and the earliest of cameras, though most people still travel via horses. If you are at all interested please contact me here or using Discord to discuss further details.
