Hello! My name is Michael, but I also go by “MAC” when playing DnD (there’s always too many Michaels at a table!). I live in Orlando, FL. Most of my career has been as a professional actor and improv performer so being engaging and creative is rarely a problem for me. I’ve been playing DnD for about 2 years now (mostly 5e and 5.5e but have delved a little into DCC) and both play and DM.  While I’ve mostly played in-person, I’d love to get into online playing with new people. I’ve dabbled into it but no one really knew what they were doing, sadly. I'm looking for an online game that plays either Thursdays or Fridays during the day. (10a - 5p) as my evenings are taken up by life responsibilities and in-person gaming.  My favorite classes to play are Monk and Ranger, but I’ve also had fun with a bard and Druid. I like to bash things so I don't know whyy I haven’t played a barbarian yet!. I like playing species that are usually out of the ordinary - Ive played a centaur, firbolg, Harengon, and Triton in different campaigns as well as the tried and true Tieflings, half-orcs and, of course, humans. Looking to play some D&D, not sure what else to put here. Not the best at self-descriptions so I'm just gonna type out what I'm saying.  Uhh... I've liked the game for about four years now, but my play experience is limited, and I'd like it to be less so. Hello! You can refer to me as Grizz or Doom, either nickname works until we get to know each other better.  To get the essentials out of the way; My most experiance is in DnD 5e by far with a few campaigns and plenty of characters beneath my belt. I have dabbled a little in Cybperunk Red & Vampire the Masqurade, though not a full game as of yet. I am a detailed and literate roleplayer with eight years experiance with an average post length of one to two paragraphs that can easily adjust according to scene and pacing. I'm hoping to find someone experianced in GURPS to show me the rulset and teach me about that TTRPG. Be it a one shot or a long term campiagn between us - I have heard a lot of stuff relating to GURPS character creation and the sheer amount of veriaty you could make in it. So I'm hoping to learn just how far that rabbit hole goes in how in depth those systems really are. I am open to any type of campaign, Fantasy, Scifi, Modernday, Lovecraftian. Just give me the low down and details on what the game would be.

I have been playing DnD for 10+ years, and I am very familiar with the mechanics and rules of both DnD and Pathfinder I have no strong preferences towards the type of campaign I play whether it be RP or Combat leaning, I also enjoy interacting with the table outside of games and making friends, I am of the belief that We all play this game to have fun and enjoy ourselves. I am also comfortable with practically any setting, I am LGBTQ+ friendly and respectful of everyone at the table and their characters. I also like to take notes as I play. Old-timer who enjoys collaborative storytelling and character development. -- new to groupfinder.gg, work in progress -- Experience I've been into roleplaying games since I was a teen and my curiosity was initially sparked by AD&D. Since then I've played dozen of systems and spent possibly thousands of hours at the table as both player and gamemaster/storyteller. I've been into all the crunch of D&D and Pathfinder, the more deductive and psychological games like Delta Green, Eclipse Phase and the varities World of Darkness, and today I'm dabbling in more innately narrative focused games like Blades in the Dark and Wildsea. Playstyle Preference Online Setup Stationary computer at a desk with a decent camera and headset, a stable internet connection, an extra cam (DroidCam) and the entire place to myself, so hopefully no interruptions. Previous experience using Discord, roll20, Foundry VTT, Google Docs and Notion as online tools for games. About me I'm in my forties and retired, and I got a lot of free time which I'd like to spend more of on TTRPGs. It gives me a lot of flexibility for game sessions and I'm happy to spend some time on all the practical stuff for games as well. I've been told I can be a little intense up front since I'm not the shy type, but once people get to know me, they often find me pretty easy going and open-minded. Aside from that, I should mention that I've suffered some damage to the cartilage around my throat that can make my voice strain during long sessions.

Hello, there!  I am a veteran player (38-years-old) who switched to D&D 5.5 ever since its release and has played sessions weekly (even multiple times a week). My window of availability is between 6 AM and 11:30 AM, and between 2 PM and 10:30 PM, CET times. I like exploration and all kinds of discoveries. I enjoy RP the most when it furthers the characters, the campaign's story or both. I like combat especially when it mixes in interesting mechanics and objectives, and when I can be creative in my descriptions and my actions. I love overcoming challenges, whatever form they take, through teamwork and preparation. I like believable character actions, because I value immersion a lot, which is why I generally prefer a serious tone over a silly one. Jokes are more than fine, but I much prefer it when they don't undercut tense and emotional moments. As a player, I'm committed, invested in the story and a note-taker, I gravitate the most towards themes related to morality, knowledge/lore and creativity/art, I take my time to gather information and strategize, and I'm good-aligned pretty much always. I never come into a campaign with a clear idea on what character to play, as I very much enjoy trying to weave species, class, concept and backstory with the campaign's world, letting the latter inspire character creation itself. So I tend to ask some questions after I join a new game, to get a better idea and then decide, with an eye on party composition as well. As a person, I'm a big believer in fairness, I'm as anti-toxicity as it gets, and I'm respectful, inclusive, punctual and communicative.

I've been playing D&D 5e since around 2018 and have experience as both a player and DM across long-term campaigns, West Marches games, and one-shots. I enjoy character-driven campaigns with a good mixture of roleplay, exploration, and combat, especially when player decisions have meaningful consequences and the world develops in response to them. I generally prefer creating characters that fit the campaign rather than expecting a campaign to accommodate a pre-existing character. I enjoy serious and darker stories, but I also appreciate humor and the unexpected moments that naturally develop during play. My work follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, so I'm primarily looking for biweekly games that align with my off-weeks. I'm in US Central Time but work nights, so I'm available across a fairly broad range of hours and am happy to play with groups in other time zones.

Well met, stranger. I'm hiddenson. I've played different rpgs since the 90's, mostly as GM. I prefer GMing because I love world building and long-term campaigns. I revel in many layered plots that peel like a bag of onions, tuning preset worlds to my signature flavor of horror and hardcore mechanics. My style is deeply immersive, roleplay heavy, and Rule of Cool. I prefer acting in the first person with people who invest creativity in their characters. At the moment, I'd like to focus on horror games and Cyberpunk. I'd love to play other settings of the World of Darkness. I have extensive experience in Call of Cthulhu in the 1920's as well as in Cyberpunk 2020 so I'll adapt to new editions easily. Lastly, I have little to no experience in the other titles, but I'm eager to try them out. I lean into characters hungry for lore rather than riches. Think erudite professors risking their sanity in eldritch tomes, or tomb raiding archaeologists uncovering more than they bargained for. Greetings! I'm Micah. I prefer a good balance of combat and roleplay; so I'm not really into dungeon-crawls (all combat, no roleplay), but also not interested in political intrigue either (all roleplay, no combat). I'm available most evenings; just can't do evenings on Wednesdays (I'm in US Central Time). I would prefer weekly games, and I will not join paid games. I consider myself an intermediate player, but only about half of my experience is actually playing. There's been a long stretch of time that I haven't played, but I've still been reading all sorts of D&D stuff and hyperfixating on different things. Because of this, I have a lot of ideas of classes I'd like to play, while I've only actually played a handful. My current idea is to try out sorcerer, but paladin and warlock are my favorites for sure. I also am fascinated by the Daggerheart system, so I'd love to try that as well.

I am interested in playing with a group that challenges my role playing skills. Mystery and puzzles always the better. Depending on the game, I could play power hungry, but not in abuse of game rules, in the literal sense. Hiya! I'm Spark (he/him), and I've been playing ttrpgs for about 10 years in Italy. I've played mainly Dnd 5th edition as both a player and a DM, and in the meantime I've learnt a couple other systems. I create and use a lot of homebrew in the campaigns I master, mostly things I have plucked from other systems. I am currently mastering a campaing, so I am not available as a GM right now, but in the future I might. I think roleplay and storytelling is the core of every tabletop experience. Combat/gameplay and RP are not mutually exclusive- I find that how/why a character fights is/should reflect who that character is, and the technical stuff -such as buildmaking- helps make a game satisfying. I love the silly moments in serious sessions (as long as they are not overly distracting) and the serious moments in silly sessions. I am happy to teach some things I learnt along the way to unexperienced players. I am generally quite open to almost everything, as long as I'm capable of roleplaying without obstacles (EX. no play by post). I like learning new systems so as long as I don't have to buy manuals, you can suggest me anything.  I have experience with/have learnt: DND5e, Pathfinder 1e, LANCER, Pokerole, 7th Sea, FATE, Wilderfeast, Traveller, Stars without Number. I am partial to roleplaying, however, as I feel it is the one element you cannot find in other gaming formats. In the TTRPG Rock, Paper, Scissors game that takes place in the deep and cloistered recesses of my mind: ROC > RAI > RAW. I am open to learning and trying new systems.  I am a very easy-going and jocular sort, prone to tomfoolery betimes, but know full well when to wear the frowny mask versus the smiley one. Howdy!! I've been looking for a group for a while, it's been really difficult to find a table to play at in person. I know I ticked the weekly box, but I'm okay playing biweekly as well!  I'm 17, and would prefer to play with people in my age range.  It's also a neccessity for me to play in a lgbtq+ supportive group.  I've been playing since I was 10, but I still only have a pretty base level knowledge of the game. My partner and myself are looking to get involved in a long-term weekly campaign in Pathfinder 2E (Online via Foundry)!  Though we are primarily looking for a GM, we are happy to join a new or existing group with other players. I'm a 40 year old man, and I really enjoy roleplaying and investing in characters. As far as character class and the like goes, I'm flexible. I'm just as happy playing a frontliner, ranged, spellcaster, support, team pet, as long as the character's fun. Otherwise, combat, exploring, dungeon delving, politicking, I enjoy such things being part of games. One thing I do prefer as far as characters go is I tend to gravitate towards less human-looking races. As far as experience goes, I've got about ten years worth of RPing, starting with D&D 5E (2014) and several other systems I've tried over the years on both sides of the DM screen. Hey there! I have been playing TTRPGs for over ten years now. I started in college and havent been able to stop since. I love the more roleplay centered games but I can be Big Dawg and throw down when needed. Most of my experience comes from DnD 5E and Monster of the Week. Ive started learning Vampire the Masqurade but my group hasnt made it very far with that. Im familiar with the rolls and character building so I am mostly there.  I typically play a rogue, warlock, or wizard. I really enjoy the stealth based play style you get with a rogue or being able to manipulate the universe at my finger tips that you get with warlock and wizard. I am pretty flexible though and can play to what the party needs. In DnD I have played every class published in 5E so I am pretty familiar with most pkay styles and how to balance out hte party.

I'm Nick, I'm a 32yo male/AMAB non-binary person, with a few years of experience playing D&D 3.5, D&D 5.0, and CoC 7th. I'm a little burnt out on those (mostly D&D/high fantasy) so I'd prefer to play a different system, but I'm not against those systems if the campaign is appealing enough. I'm open-minded, intelligent, and a quick learner so picking up new systems is pretty easy for me. The systems that appeal to me the most right now are Mutants & Masterminds, Cyberpunk, Mothership, Kult, Unknown Armies, any World/Chronicles of Darkness system, or any obscure or homebrew horror system (any setting with heavy horror). My ideal group would consist of people around my age but I'll play with anyone 18+. I'm friendly and get along with pretty much everyone, and have thick skin so I don't mind banter, darker themes, or adult content. LGBTQIA+ friendly (obviously lol), female friendly, POC friendly. I'm also not going to get too antsy if we get a little derailed from play sometimes, especially with goofier groups, but I love serious play just as much. Currently looking to play weekly on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, during evenings/nights. Saturdays are undesirable at the moment but if I really love the campaign idea I can make the time for it. I can't play Tuesday afternoons and both Wednesday and Sunday are off limits at the moment. Long term campaigns are ideal. I'm a pretty dedicated player, I rarely miss sessions. Any VTT is fine (I love Foundry), theater of the mind is also fine. I'm not a big fan of Roll20 but I'll use it if I have to lol. I have and use Discord regularly. I also would pefer not to be on cam, but I do have a webcam. However I do not want to be recorded and posted on the public internet so skip me if you're running on a stream, youtube recording, podcast, etc. Recordings for private note-taking purposes are okay but do not post them online publicly. I love creating characters (especially flawed characters) so I usually have several character ideas for multiple systems either ready-to-play or brewing, even for systems I've ever played (such as M&M 3e, Unknown Armies, Kult, etc). I'm flexible enough to stick with RAW or go full homebrew, I will always work with the DM to ensure that my character is suitable for their campaign, especially if we dive into heavy homebrew. I generally prefer not to min/max but I'm not against it, I just find flawed characters (mechanical and flavor) to be far more interesting and fun to play. I don't meta game, backseat game, rules lawyer, and I don't have main character syndrome (if anything I'm a little shy of the limelight). I can also handle bad outcomes and character death, I believe that's just part of the storytelling aspect of TTRPGs. I love roleplay, combat, exploration, puzzle solving, pretty much every aspect of TTRPGs so I'm generally comfortable with any ratio. I also sometimes to photo-manipulation/digital collage art, drawn art (digital and traditional), etc for my character, other characters, campaigns, but I'm not very good at it (yet). Usually this is for comedic effect or out of necessity. I also do art and writing outside of TTRPG play. Not interested in play-by-post or paid games, sorry.

Indepth discussions between characters, debates about what to do in different situations. Being challenged on morality of what is happening. Highs of wins fought through hard work and the sting of defeats felt through the whole group, ending in commiseration at the tavern as our characters mourn the loss of a favored NPC. Roleplay is what I love most about TTRPG's. I've been playing them since I was 12 years old (I am now 41), and while at the time it was because of all the cool monsters and stuff, even then I was captured by the different stories you could tell. I would love to share in the telling of the stories with you and your group. I've got extensive experience in a number of different systems from D&D in various incarnations to World of Darkness and Chronicles of Darkness to Masks, Stars Without Number and Fantasy Flight Star Wars. I'm always up for learning a new system! I've also GMed my fair share of games in the past, but am just looking to play right now due to my health right now (I am disabled) That isn't to say I -don't- like the tactical and exploration aspects of the game. When it comes to combat I tend to be more of a tactition sort of player, analyzing the playfield and trying to figure out the enemy. Though that hasn't ever stopped me from making the -stupid- decisions because they were in character. Story and plot over mechanical wins for me every time.  Failure is always an option. It  never is an end point, because it just gives new opportunities for story, even if it stings and hurts in the moment. We find the motivation in that. Current Availability: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Evenings weekly. Monday Evenings and Saturday Days every other week.

I'm a player of ttrpgs of 5 years, Mostly dnd, but I'd love to branch out more. I prefer roleplay focused games but don't mind combat in the slightest. I am an obsessive notetaker and quite nosy when I play so I enjoy the social intrigue and interactions of these games! I am free to play every day but Saturday as my schedule is extremely flexible. Very okay with the consequences of my actions and being the butt of the joke!

I played tons of 2E through 3.5E in middle school through college. I've started playing a 5.5E game at my local game store, but I'd love to add another regular game, preferably one that is at least 50% combat. Unfortunately, due to work and family obligations, the only time I'm reliably available is after 9:00 PM Sunday through Wednesday.
