Investigation Bureau | Seaside City Mysteries

A dark archipelago of dangerous waters, unforgiving weather, and ruthless people, ruled by a cold and powerful Empress. The realm fell into despair when a deadly plague known as the "Sanguine Mist" or simply the “Red Mist” as it’s known colloquially, swept over the dark waters, causing a painful and gruelling end as symptoms include; visible, bright red veins, frequent bleeding from nose, mouth, or eyes, fragile skin that bruises and cuts easily, oddly liquid looking pupils and most notably, the constant coughing and hacking up a bloody, crimson mist that eventually causes the infected to suffocate, before reanimating their corpse as a mindless, siren-like zombie. Life here is tough, but the people are tougher, and there’s been an odd sense of routine that has formed since the first signs of the infection. Many make their living hauling or pilfering parts of the dead and dying, and while a vague sense of normalcy has returned, there remain a few who continue to search for a cure.

Looking to run a Fantasy game in the world of Faerun shaped by the players joining, deeply connecting the player backstories towards the overall setting and narrative! The journey shall begin in the Sword Coast, a place brimming with opportunity for those sharp enough to spot it, or for those opportunistic enough to steal it! Adventure lurks behind every isle that spreads across the deep oceanic expanse, a whisper inside every tavern foretelling the coming of doom, and monstrous noises can often be heeded from outside the sanctuaries of human settlements... And most important of all... Treasure can be found in the most dangerous of places, and danger is everywhere!    The BBEG and forces of evil will be directly linked to the players, leading to an exciting as well as personal experience tailor made for those looking for deep stories full of intrigue, emotional moments of triumph, as well as the good running joke that unites everyone together!  Will you be an escaped drow from Menzoberranzan, searching for refuge and a place to call home among compainions. A ruthless assassin from Waterdeep, a tongue as silver as the thin daggers you weild to great effect. A city guard from Baldurs Gate that wishes to explore the greater world, not letting the titanic walls confine your adventuerer spirit any longer! The world is open and excepting of adventuerers from all backgrounds and walks of life!  For those interested in joining share a potential player character you would like to bring life to! A quick 2 to 4 session long campain, good for people starting the game, I have muld objectives planed, but the goals can change as the game goes on, sessions last from 1-2 hours, the time when we play, and the days we play it will be changed based on the players that joined, come have fun, Ill be happy to help with anything!
