An Artificer's Table

Are you someone who loves smut and old school RPGs?? Are you a fellow veteran who's fond of or someone new who is interested in the more complex, more complicated, more confusing & convoluted, and most importantly, the more FUN retro systems??  I'm looking to explore starting a one-on-one game with someone who is just as interested as I am in the idea of mixing lots of explicit smut, adult scenarios, and ERP with in-depth RPG systems. I want to create a simulationist world inspired by immersive sims where you can truly explore any option your mind can imagine. If this sounds like you, message me!! I am open to multiple settings and have lots of homebrew ones, but to be honest I am low-key a goth and most of them are dark fantasy, urban fantasy, filled with religious trauma, and filled with anything and everything ookie, spookie, creepy and crawly.

Every day on Wednesday 6pm (MST) We are also looking for a GM but I can handle that job for the time being. We make people the GM via wish spell and other things, right now it's a trigestalt at level 23 Heavy combat low RP. Horde fight. Instead of any species you are a Sevranack former species unknown unless specified you are alien to any enviorment, as your species special you have the resilient feat, the durable feat and the remarkable recovery feat You all have UA tunnelfighter. You do not age and you are immune to exaustion Your whole body is made of design the player describes. you will be going through wave battles and it is theater of the mind. You each have legendary uncommon common and a rare item, if you may decide you may have a +2 or +3 weapon but never a +1. - Custom stat array 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31 - Physics rules of cool. Every first encounter is a surprise round. This is a gestalt, and we are the pirates pirating rules. No muticlassing, Spellpoints. The party as a collective has UA tunnelfighter and upon a bonus action from any one single sevranack you all take the defensive stance and you hear this capacitor charge sound. Tripple max hp. Bonus action Healing surge All that good stuff. We hope you join.

I’m the DM for our Sunday night group. Our group recently lost one of our players. We are looking for a replacement who will fit into the table. Current campaign is CoS. We’re about half way through. The first thing to note is you should be looking for a table/group, not a game. Yes, we’re of course running a campaign right now. But the idea is we’ll be doing future campaigns as well. We have a good group going, get along well, mesh well, and I put it together with the intent of being a group of friends gaming rather than a group of randos playing a campaign. (We all did meet here in LFG). So preference actually goes to people for whom this would be the only game you’ll be in versus people in 6 games a week. On that note, experience doesn’t matter. Heck, in some ways less can be better. We don’t need a professional player. Meshing with everyone as a player is 100% what we’re looking for. So what will help you mesh the best? Here’s a few quick bullets: - Women preferred. The person who dropped out was a woman. We’d like to keep the same dynamics if possible. We are currently 3 women, 2 guys. - You should like story telling role play. Note this may be different than just role playing a character. Here’s a test: you come upon a tower in the forest, inside of which is your objective. The DM asks you to describe the tower to the group and explain what is stopping you from just walking in. If that sounds like “work” to you or there’s a bit of “that’s what the DM is for.” I get it. But you’ll probably find our play style tedious and exhausting. We are definitely not a “just get to the action” type of group. - Age: be 30+. We’re all 30+ with kids, careers, lives, etc. For multiple reasons you being in the same boat will make everyone have more fun (including you). - Have some tech ability or ability to learn. You don’t need to be a tech guru. But if you haven’t grasped the basics of the VTT by session 5 or so we can’t stop to help you out every time it’s your turn. We use FG. Powerful for DMs (yay me), not the most user-friendly UI/UX. - No goofy shit for characters, etc. No hate on that type of play, just not what we’re doing in this group. Think more GoT type play than “I ride around as a mushroom person on my tiny pet squirrel” type of play. - Enjoy a more hardcore style of play rather than typical power fantasy of 5e. Magic is toned down significantly. Long rests are rare. Much more gritty feeling than standard DnD. If you play DnD just to roll some dice and kill some orcs to blow off steam, you won’t enjoy our game. This is more like “my character is always on 2 levels of exhaustion, my spell slots are burned, I don’t have any potions, and now I’m supposed to go dive into this creepy dungeon???? Wtf!?” - Be ok with natural consequences and a DM who may say “no” to things. Not to kill creativity, but just like no, you can’t charm the king into letting you go free after you just killed his daughter. There’s no scenario that exists that will get you out of the predicament you’re currently in based on your choices. How the story develops from here (see the role play above) is yet to be seen.
